Scrumptious Italian place in a cute part of SF! I’m usually not much of an Italian girl but this place was absolutely delicious. We came here for lunch on Valentines, and it was not that busy and we were immediately sat on waiting. We split a thin onion bread, which had really good onions on it and came with dipping balsamic. The bread was hot and fresh when it came out, we saw the people making it! We also split a veggie lasagna. This was scrumptious, and is probably better than some meat lasagnas I’ve had. It was a solid portion size and came piping hot! i really enjoyed this meal, and the service was fast and efficient. The only drawback is that the seating is bench style without seat backs and you end up sharing a table with many people if the place is fuller. i would 100% come back again!
This is such a cool spot for when you want pizza and a cute beverage. The salty dog was refreshing and paired well with the onion focaccia. The onion focaccia has chopped onions cooked and piled on top with a yummy dipping sauce. The Margherita pizza is light and fresh. Definitely worth a try with friends or a date night!
My coworker recommended I try this out, since I'm gluten free and love a good pizza. I decided to go with a simple burata margarita pizza, since I've been eating too much rich food lately. It was REALLY good. I wasn't sure I was going to be into such a saucy pizza, but the sauce was flavorful, and thick, and really hit the spot honestly. The gluten free crust was crunchy and held up well. I don't think it's house made (I could be wrong) but for a pre-made crust it was surprisingly good. I also had the ceasar salad, not pictured, which was crisp and refreshing and had lots of tasty parmesan. The leaves were massive, but I managed to mostly not look like a vegetable barbarian while eating it. Great service, loud and busy but really nice open layout, so it didn't feel suffocating. I got in right away cause I was by myself and could just sit at the bar. The location is very cool, as it's in an outdoor very modern mall kind of area. Anyways, just go eat there. It's great.
Cute place with an exquisite patio (though I was too chilly to indulge) and excellent food and staff. I was dining alone and had the pleasure of being served by Adam (and later, Noe) who were kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. Though seemingly simple, their spaghetti and meatball was excellent. The perfect blend of fresh and spicy and hit the spot. The burrata bruschetta that someone recommended here was also excellent and was the perfect mix to hit every flavor profile available for a quite reasonable price (at happy hour I paid ~10 for each. Highly recommend! Especially if you have the pleasure of visiting when Adam or Noe are at the bar ✨
This place has quickly become one of my favorite pizza spots. The pizza is seriously tasty – fresh ingredients, perfect crust, and just the right amount of toppings. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the interior is clean and nicely decorated. Bonus points for the outdoor seating – it’s a great vibe, especially in good weather!
everything was perfect! The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the waiters absolutely wonderful. I especially want to thank the waitress who served us. Once she realized I speak Arabic, she kindly said “shukran” in Arabic. She was so sweet and thoughtful. If you’re reading my comment, I just want to say thank you❤️ you truly made my day! 😍
Very cute modern place in the downtown. They have spacious indoor dining and a terrace outside with a lovely view. All the pizza i tried were fresh and really good, service fast and prices very reasonable. They have happy hour smaller plates for half the price. I’d recommend it for lunch on a weekday
Griffin at the bar is the sweetest. Made a solo diner feel welcome and he makes fantastic cocktails. A great end to a busy day. Great bartenders make the world better.
Great food! Impeccable service. The manager Sophie was very helpful. I would highly recommend this spot, especially if you're visiting SF and staying downtown.

We are french and we find the best restaurant in San Francisco. Great Italian food not so expensive. Very good welcome. Thank you !
Best pizza in SF as far as I’m concerned. Great menu beyond the pizza too. I’ve been here a number of times and keep coming back because the food is fab. There’s usually a wait bc it’s so good!!!
Loved the location, service was fantastic. And the price point was wonderful. It was chilly out but the outdoor heaters made it comfortable...
Had the pizzas and some appetizers, and it wasn't bad but not great. The fennel sausage was a disappointing, but the funghi pizza was my favourite. It's a nice atmosphere with lots of seating, but it's quite loud so it's difficult to talk. Overall, decent food for a fair price, but more a place for vibes rather than outstanding food.
The pizza came out promptly and was well prepared. There wasn’t anything specific about the ingredients that really stood out to me or put the pizza over the top, but it was still good. It’s like the venue wanted me to believe that the eating experience was more elevated than what it actually was. I don’t mean to be too harsh, it just seemed like a decent, well made classic pizza.
I walked into this spot for a quick solo dinner during a conference trip to SFO — it was right next to my hotel and popped up on a Google whim. The place had an effortlessly cool vibe, and since I was by myself, they offered me a seat at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and kicked things off by offering me samples of two different wines. Loved the gesture — I picked one and settled in with my glass while scanning their small but intriguing menu. It was happy hour, so I went for a 10” wood-fired pizza topped with marinara, salami, spicy peppers (yes, actual heat!), olives, onions, and parmesan. Sounded like a dream combo, and honestly, it was — once it finally arrived. The only downside? The pizza took way too long. But here’s the thing: the bartender came over, genuinely apologized, and comped the pizza without me even asking. Total class act. So despite the delay, I walked out smiling. Great wine, flavorful pizza, and a vibrant, welcoming vibe — what more could you want after a long day?

The food was good but not great. We got there around 5 PM on a Sunday and beat the rush. We ordered a pizza and spinach ravioli. The pizza crust was overcooked, and not moldable. The spinach ravioli (I'm not a big spinach fan but my wife is, she liked it) had a lot of oil on it. It was pooling on the bottom of the plate. To be honest Fog City Made a better pizza. But the staff was friendly, and helpful and that really helps with the experience.
Loved the vibe,, but not impressed with the food. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and everyone seemed to be having a great time there. Sadly, the food we ordered, along with our mixed drinks, just came out to be meh. It was a busy Halloween evening, so that may have factored into it - but this was our only visit, so judging it for what it was.
The meal (a vegetarian pizza with burrata cheese) was very delicious! The attitude of the manager was not polite. We went in for a light dinner on a Saturday at around 7:30pm, and the restaurant seemed to have quite a few tables available. Yet, the manager told us that we would have to wait for 20 minutes as ‘there were no tables’! Despite my husband pointing out to the unoccupied tables, the manager seemed to act indifferently and said that only the tables at bar were available! We decided to wait and see. The manager came in 5-7 minutes to seat us in one of the many tables that had been empty anyway. The food’s taste got my mind off but the rude attitude was surely unwanted.
We came as a large group to Delarosa for a team lunch and ordered an assortment of appetizers and pizzas to share. In terms of finding availability, being able to seat a large party, and catering to a large group, this restaurant was great. There was plenty of seating and large enough tables for everyone. On the other hand, the food here is good but not above and beyond. Everything tasted decent and the pizzas came out fresh/hot but the vibe was definitely geared more towards business lunches and not a special event place. Service was good though as there were no issues, but for my taste, there are other pizza places to try in the Bay Area.
We had a fairly large party. When orders were taken, he was very insistent that we went in order, yet when the food came out, the servers/food runner had no idea where the food went. Some peopl…

This place desperately needs an adult in charge in the front of the house. Atmosphere - eat outside or else bring noise canceling headphones inside. If you don’t love group tables, be warned (I think they are inside only). Btw - this was not a busy night whatsoever. The welcome - my expectations really are not that high - I’ve done this job before. Most people would have to try to be as unapproachable and unwelcoming as this man and woman were tonight, but it seemed to come all too naturally for them. No welcoming in, no smile, barely eye contact. Table service was…utilitarian at best, but acceptable. Food - the meatballs were great! The pizza was great! My friend sent the gnocchi back as overcooked and inedible in general - this was the first time in her life she’s ever sent food back. The veggie lasagna - if there was pasta in it I must have missed it, let alone any veggies - it honestly seemed like it was just a blob of cheese. The little salad with the prix fixe menu was barely dressed and completely bitter with larger than bite size bits which were embarrassing to try to eat in front of friends - who’s going to use a knife with salad weeds? The bar - the bartender practically rolled his eyes when I asked to transfer our tab to our table when our friends arrived - even though I gave him what I considered to be a healthy cash tip. It’s unlikely that I’d go back.
The food and atmosphere at Delarosa were genuinely great — clean, modern, and family-friendly. The pizza was delicious and came out quickly, and the restaurant itself has a warm, inviting vibe. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined the experience for us. It started off fine with a friendly host, but when he brought over our water, he didn’t even make eye contact — just slid it across the table mid-stride while walking away. It felt dismissive, but we decided to let it go. Then our waitress arrived, and she just seemed miserable from the start. It honestly felt like she didn’t want to be there, and it was clear this was just a paycheck for her — at least that’s how it came off based on the service we received. We were polite and patient, but her attitude never changed. When our pizza came out (which was great), she returned about two minutes later to check on us — right as we were chewing. Since we couldn’t respond, she repeated “You’re good?” but started walking off as she was asking the question, which made us feel rushed and even caused us to start hurrying through our food just to answer her. I appreciate that she didn’t forget about us, but it felt like there was a lack of awareness about when to check in. It came across more like she was just checking off a box rather than genuinely engaging with her tables. Maybe it was just a bad night for her or we caught her at a bad time, but the whole interaction felt rushed and impersonal. A couple of minutes later, she came back again asking if we wanted to order more. At that point, we felt uncomfortable, like they were trying to get us out as fast as possible. We had planned for a nice dinner out, but the entire experience was over in about 30 minutes. The food alone deserves praise, but the lack of basic courtesy and attentiveness from the staff makes it impossible for us to recommend this place or ever return.

The food was good, but unfortunately our overall experience was very disappointing. This restaurant is very special to my sister and her husband. They come here often, and it holds many memories from their love story, which is why they chose to celebrate and eat all together on their wedding day here. Me and our family are not from this city, and due to confusion with directions and getting caught in the rain, we arrived late and things became a bit disorganized. Because of that, no one had the chance to inform the staff in advance that we brought our own wedding cake and planned to cut it later. When we finally brought the cake to the table, a server came over and loudly announced in front of all the guests; that there is a $3 charge per person to cut the cake. The way this was handled caused my sister and brother in law a lot of embarrassment and humiliation on their wedding day. What should have been a joyful moment became very uncomfortable. We completely understand restaurant policies and have no issue with paying a cake-cutting fee. However, this could have been communicated privately, politely, or simply added to the bill. Announcing it out loud in front of everyone was unnecessary and unprofessional. After that, the atmosphere changed. We lost our appetite, no one wanted to eat the cake anymore, and we felt uncomfortable, especially since this is a place the couple visits regularly and truly loves. This review is not meant to attack, but as feedback. Please consider handling situations like this more discreetly and kindly in the future, especially during important celebrations. Again, the food was good we just wish the service and communication had matched the occasion. Thank you
