Huge burritos, well prepared, and delicious. You can pre-order and get a text when your meal is done. Small dining room with a couple outside tables. Best for to-go orders.
One of the Best Mexican Meals I’ve Ever Had! Taco Boys completely blew me away. This was hands down one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had in my life—and that’s saying a lot! Everything is made fresh, so it took about 15 minutes, but it was so worth the wait. As a vegan, I was thrilled to find a full vegan and vegetarian menu, and even better, my non-vegan friend was just as impressed. He actually said it was the best burrito he’s ever had! When both a vegan and a meat-eater leave raving about their meals, you know you’ve found a gem. The vibe is super laid-back and casual—probably not the spot for a romantic dinner, but perfect for a chill hangout or quick bite with friends. Parking is street-only, so it can be a bit hit or miss depending on the day. But honestly? If you love good food, especially if you’re plant-based, you have to give Taco Boys a try!
Fast quick and efficient!!! I ordered the following: Vegan Philly Cheese Burrito $14.95 Vegan steak Bites Vegan mozzarella Vegan sour cream $1.50 extra With a side Fries $2.95 Total was $32 w a tip This was amazingly delicious! All the flavors combined had my mouth in a frenzy of excitement!!!! Imagine a juicy philly cheese steak yet vegan and in a burrito!!! The fries were not the best yet the Burrito was épic! Loud at night due to night life! Fast and fresh overall great place for nightlife food!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been eating at Taco Boys since the day they opened their doors, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. The food is always incredible, but I especially want to highlight Oscar, the cook. He is truly a five-star chef! Oscar can cook any type of food with amazing flavor and consistency — from Mexican and Guatemalan dishes to Brazilian and even Italian. Every time I know he’s in the kitchen, I wait for his cooking because I know the quality will be perfect. The food here is consistently delicious, and Oscar’s talent really sets it apart. If you haven’t tried Taco Boys yet, check them out online or stop by — you won’t be disappointed! High-five to Oscar! 👋 ✋️ 🙌🏼
They have A LOT of vegetarian/vegan and regular taco options at Taco Boys. It’s a small shop with a few seats inside and a couple tables outside. I really enjoyed the veg Al pastor and seitan tacos the most. The filling was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. Top 3 tacos I’ve ever had and would tell everyone to try it out!
Best most tastiest vegan Mexican food! The vegan Al pastor is sensationalllllll
Food is great with plenty of flavor! Great options for everyone along with desserts and drinks! Some seating inside and outside, with friendly staff. Definitely recommend trying this location out right by the Lookout and Castro.
Cute little shop for a quick bite! The store is small with a couple tables for dining in. Got a seafood burrito with shrimp and added avocado, about $16 with tax. Super filling and came with chips. :)
I was excited to try this place after looking for vegan options in the city but had a bad experience that won’t bring me back. When I got there I saw that it was a kiosk outside to order on and that there was a vegan menu button you could go to order the vegan options. I was deciding between getting one or two menu items for us and was choosing between the vegan chicken quesadilla or the vegan wet burrito. We ultimately decided on the wet burrito and to split it, so we chose that and then checkout. When going through checkout it popped up with options to add to your order and the quesadilla was there so I caved and got the chicken quesadilla, thinking it was vegan because it popped up at the checkout after me ordering from the vegan menu. It was my mistake to not double check, yes, but I assumed because, as I said, I had just selected vegan menu beforehand. Anyways, I didn’t discover the quesadilla was not vegan until after I had fully eaten the wet burrito and then taken 3-4 bites of the quesadilla… That was my first time having meat in over 4 years… This was a traumatic thing for me when I realized, as you could imagine. I got up and asked the lady if I could swap the real one for a vegan one and explained to her how I clicked the vegan menu and instinctively thought the pop up at the end was also vegan. She then rung me up and said “$16”, and I explained I was wanting to swap not buy a new one. She said she would if it was her fault but it was mine. While technically true, I explained to her it was my first time eating meat in 4 years. There was still over 3 quartersof the quesadilla left and I just left it there because I couldn’t eat any more of it… I paid $14 for it after tax and I also gave them a tip… It just felt rude in my opinion. I was really enjoying the food at first when I ate the wet burrito and even enjoyed the workers and the atmosphere. The menu kiosk can be confusing if you’re trying to order specifically vegan. Maybe have a way for vegan items to pop on the end instead when people order from the vegan menu. I wish they would have redone the order because I was planning on coming back to try more vegan options on their menu because I loved the vegan wet burrito.

This Taco Boy is truly amazing! I placed a large order for the team on Sunday morning, and I didn't expect the order to be ready so quickly. The service was fast, and the food was absolutely fantastic, even they have vegan menu,Alex gave me free pineapple Thank you.😄
Been coming here for YEARS, and it's the same every time. Food is delicious & always fresh. Just like the first time 👌🏾 being from Oakland I am exposed to good tacos all around town. When I find myself in sf this is my go -to spot.
Vegan Al Pastor tacos are genuinely insane I cannot wrap my mind around the flavor. My goal for 2026 is to now try everything on the vegan menu.

8/15/25 Ordered a carne asada california burrito for delivery, not bad, Id give it 3.5 stars. It’s HUGE.. so it has that going for it, and the fries are relatively crisp (could be crispier but still good). I’m marking off point for no chips included in the delivery (booo). Also they gave me pinto and not refried beans per my order, but it was still tasty so I forgive you ;-) I’ll try this place again, might be a solid option. 9/14/25 Update Tried this again for delivery, order was correct, burrito was still huge, and chips were included this time - Yay! :) I dont see hardly any avo this time though, overall upping my rating to 3.9, so close!! lol.
We ordered the Supreme Burrito with carne asada and black beans, as well as the Quesadilla Suiza with Al Pastor. I highly recommend their quesadilla! The portion is huge, and it's incredibly delicious and satisfying. Even though there was a bit of a wait, it was served piping hot, packed with flavor, and well worth it. However, the burrito was a bit disappointing. The carne asada was cold and dry, which was unexpected since we ordered in person and dined in. The experience with the burrito was completely different from the quesadilla, which was unfortunate.
Came here after a Barry’s bootcamp class! Good: - No line, easy ordering experience - Super super tasty vegan wet burrito! Tasted better than a normal burrito even - Fast arrival of the food, got it within 15 min Bad: - Pretty casual vibes here and not too fancy and not much service Overall would come again, great value too for the price.
yummmmm! their portions are huge so this def lasted me like two meals! the fries were cirspy and so yum too

Look, I love me some Taco Boys. Their vegan breakfast burrito might actually be the best burrito in town… HOWEVER, I am almost at my wit’s end with the dude that rings up my order. I don’t know if he just doesn’t want to do his job or what, but if you’re gonna charge me over $20 for a freaking burrito, can you at least just make sure it’s made right? And if there is no option to put “extra cilantro” on the ticket then write it in yourself and then bring up the situation with your boss! Do not gaslight your customers and tell them several times that my order is going to be made exactly how I requested only to not do anything of the sort! This has happened to me THREE times in a row now and that’s why I’m here... I will keep dragging you online for as long as it takes for someone to hear me. And it would also be great if you offered for me to enter my phone number instead of me always having to ask if I can add it, every single time. SMH. Who even trains the employees at this restaurant?! That’s the person I really have issues with! Please get it together or else you’ll eventually lose two customers that eat at your restaurant at least once a week, easily. And I’m sorry to have to Karen out on you like this because I love your food so much, but this situation has really left me no other choice! Being gaslight repeatedly actually leaves a very bitter taste in mouth…
Tacos boys is awesome and reliable, it’s my go to spot when I’m out late and craving some bomb food, I usually get the carne asada tacos or the carne asada breakfast burrito both are really good! Not the best carne asada but I’ve never had a bad order from here so I’ll continue coming back, service is standard and the eating area is quite small but it is what it is, we still love taco boys, I especially appreciate their vegan options!
So today I had another delivery of the vegan wet burrito it was great 1st time but not the 2nd time. Then the second time they never put in napkins or cutlery which was very disheartening and inconvenient. I don't know if I'm going to try something else from here yet.

Food was fine, got takeaway and didn't offer any tip as tgere is no service. Returned to find our food had been sitting on shelf for however long, walked it back to our motel and received the text 10 minutes after eating that our food was ready. Not good enough team.

Paid $16 for the stalest vegan nachos I’ve ever eaten in my life. I usually enjoy the food here but lately the quality has gone down. Ordered the vegan super nachos and the tortilla chips were the stalest chips I've ever eaten lol | think I almost broke a tooth. These chips literally taste like chips they had before Christmas, then were closed for Christmas and then served again today. FYI | ordered and ate this right away but the chips (as pictured) are so full of oil and so stale. So disappointing.
