Although it was hard to choose between really good options, got a Detroit style slice, it was very filling - a meal size slice, definitely recommend!

We just got slices because the wait time was 2 hours for the main restaurant. The margarita was phenomenal, the sauce was great, and the crust was crunchy. Definitely lived up to the hype.

While having a slice of Pepperoni, I thought I could faintly hear the famous "La donna è mobile" from Verdi's opera Rigoletto playing in the background La donna è mobile Qual piuma al vento Muta d'accento E di pensiero My first time at Tony's and it was an experience I'll never forget. A perfect crust - chewy with a nice crunch. Small peperoni's that had the right amount of kick to them. A nice complex combination of savory and salty, with a nice chew. The sauce, I can tell goes back generations of nonna's. Matt says: take the Muni 8 from Montgomery Street station. It's a short walk for a slice of heaven.

Feeling fortunate that I work just around the block from Tony's. I love the Big Kahuna! Gotta try the meatball sub soon! California veggie slice is probably my most frequently ordered slice.

First, a crucial tip: there are two Tony's spots right next to each other. Tony's Pizza Napoletana is the full sit-down restaurant, while this one, the Slice House, is their casual, takeout-focused spot. It's important to know that the Slice House is primarily for grab-and-go. They have very limited seating-just a few tables and no servers-so it's best to plan on taking your pizza with you. Now for the pizza itself: it was fantastic. They serve NY-style pizza, which was a really welcome change from other styles in the SF area, especially because I'm from the east coast. For a quick, delicious, and classic slice without the fuss of a sit-down meal, this place is an excellent choice. I really liked it.

Came across this place while waiting for hotel and wasn't disappointed. Friendly people and prices weren't too bad for big slices. Good variety of specialty pizzas and they were quick to make!!

Had the California Veggie slice and Webb's Double Sausage at Tonys Coal Fired Pizza. The veggie slice stood out with its fresh toppings and great flavor. Always a lively and packed spot that makes for a fun bite while in North Beach.

This is the takeout portion of the renown Tonys Pizza. There's usually a bunch of people around so expect a wait. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich and a slice and waited around 20 minutes. There are a handful of chairs and tables outside to sit at. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The sandwich and pizza were definitely delicious. Would come back and order more from them!

This was a quick little pop shop style where I waited about 10 minutes for my slice of pizza but it was well worth the wait and idk if they always make it by the slice of the one I wanted happened to gone but my slice was hot and fresh from the oven I couldn’t even wait to get home. I ate it as I walked home and it was great! I would definitely recommend and come back. The pizza slice was a reasonable size for the price I paid maybe around $10 for it, so for myself alone it’s worth it. Or maybe for 2 if you’re more super hungry and you want a snack. They also had some outdoor seating, there’s no inside as it’s like an order and wait outside by the window kinda set up. But give it a try it’s worth it. I gave it 4/5 only because it was great food but a little too oily for me and the pizza is a thin make so it’s beneficial folding it in half but held up fine, but I’m also a hard critic on 5/5 pizza, this one was close though and idk if It’s because I got it fresh out of the oven. I’ll have to drop by again and if it’s the same experience I’d change it to a 5/5.

Tony's is one of my favorite North Beach Italian diner. The pizza is consistently great and always made to perfection. My suggestion is to be the first person in line when they open at 11:30 pm because the pizza is best. I always like to enjoy my pizza while sitting at Washington Park because the people watching is great.

Definitely one of the best pick-up and to-go in North Beach, and reasonably priced. Their menu is tantalizingly difficult to choose from, but that's a good problem to have! Try whatever, but DEFINITELY STOP BY. I tried the pepperoni and the pepperoni and sausage. They were fantastic! , Quick service, staff is a bit aggressive, BUT it was great feeling like I was in NY. Trust me, it's a small spot, but the aesthetic and vibe are part of this places greatness! Enjoy like I did.

The slightly charred, cupped pepperoni are amazing! Fantastic crust with just the right mix of chewy and crispy. Great slices, if you have time, sit down for a coal fired pie next door at the main restaurant, Tony's Pizza Napoletana. It's no surprise why the owner Tony Gemignani constantly wins awards.

Great pizza! Had a slice of each, NY Big Kahuna, NY Cheese and NY Pepperoni slice. The cheese slice and soda (no refill) is a great deal for $5.75. The other two slices were $7 & $7.25, not bad for these giant slices. The crust was so crunchy and the sauce was delish! Service was good, they're polite and fast, we waited about 15 minutes for our pizza. They take cash and card. There are tables, but no one cleaning, maybe because it was busy. We cleaned our own table. There was no bathroom, but you can prob use the one in the restaurant next door.

Nice Sunny day in north beach and when that’s the case most spots have lines unless you planned ahead with a reservation, I guess. Tony for the save, as always and even today they had about a 15-20min wait. I got a slice of the big kahuna and it was very tasty. Hefty amounts of ham and slices of pineapple that I have never seen applied on a pizza before or anything else I might add. It was artistic and seemed to keep the juiciness of the pineapple.

Food was delicious! Best Calzone I’ve had. But the system was extremely slow, they were quick to take our order, despite the long line. But there was just one single person getting every order ready for pick up, from boxing up the goods to walking them to the window and it made the whole thing extremely slow :(. It appeared he didn’t prioritize ready made items and went order by order, waiting for a whole pie to cook and then handing it, before boxing up the next item that were things already ready for boxing up. Which meant we waited an unnecessary amount of time for something that I could see just warming up on the counter. Loved the food, but the system could work a bit more efficiently:)

Wanted a slice of pizza, quickly before a show. It's already prepared in in the display. But instead of giving it to you. They make you wait 15 minutes. The pizza is solidly mediocre. But eating it in Washington Square is a delight.

This establishment is part of the Tony's Restaurant next door, but here is faster service just for take out pizza slices. We purchased 2 plain cheese ($6 each) and a 4 cheese pizza slice ($7.25 each). It was very busy even on a Sunday evening, but the line went very fast. Our food was ready in about 5-7 minutes. The pizza looked good and were extra large, but was dry and did not have much tomato pizza sauce. I believe since the slices are reheated the sauce dries out and thus would recommend getting a side of sauce or buying a whole pie from the original Tony's next door.

Not a slice house. A window wherein a factory for Doordash and Uber Eats and whichever other riffraff decides to mess up sidewalk traffic operates. The pizza’s good, but don’t you DARE think you’re walking in here for a quick slice. You, poor soul, will be waiting on a crowded sidewalk for 55 minutes for your singular slice of $9 Margherita.

We came for the vodka sauce and was told by the waiter, who asked the chef, that our marinara was a vodka cream sauce. Beyond that the plate was pretty bland.

The staff ignores you for about 10 minutes to order a take out slice of pizza. The pizza is not tasty and over cooked. Dont see the hype and you shouldn’t either. Many other pizza places that do a better job. Skip those place

I ordered a whole pizza from the takeout spot and I waited for about 20 mins before returning for the order. It appeared the order didn’t come out so I was waiting about 15 mins before asking one of the workers if the pizza was ready. They just looked at the receipt and left. Another 15 mins went by so I asked a different worker and they didn’t do much except look at the receipt number again and waved me off. Again more orders came out and still no pizza so I asked again if they could check on the pizza but they just shouted the number to the back and no response. So I waited about 1.5 hours in total and I asked the cashier about the pizza and she found it sitting on the top of rack that no one had bothered to check before. No sorry. Just “Oh sometimes the pizzas are left around when someone doesn’t come in when the pizza is called.” Basically saying I should’ve been standing in the rain waiting for the pizza. It’s not my fault no one bothered to go looking for the pizza I paid for. Overall horrible service. Don’t order a new pizza for togo just the ready made slices.

I expected that every item on the menu at this place would be great because of the ratings and the word of mouth. I ordered the Don Giovani pizza and it was the worst ever. I basically waited 30min, paid $40 for a pizza that has the sauce on top of the cheese and not under the cheese. Ridiculous. And the menu says its supposed to have Vodka cream sauce and white onions. I got home to find out it's just an upside down pizza. This place is not worth the hype. Additionally, it was hard enough trying to figure out where the takeout was because there are 3 doors.

Ordered through uber eats for pickup and this is what I got. Not only was my order not ready by the time they estimated, they hadn’t even started making it until I got there. Barely any ingredients for this “award winning” Cal Italia for $39+tax. Never ordering take out from Tony’s again. At least in person, Tony’s is good for the price. This is just infuriating given how small it is…
