My husband and I went to this restaurant especially to eat Thakali khana, as we had been missing it so much. We went all the way from Mississauga to Mustang Thakali and Bar — and trust me, the food was absolutely delicious! It was tasty and had an authentic Nepali flavor. We ordered the mutton Thakali set. The saag tasted exactly like traditional Nepali “raayo ko saag,” and the daal — which I usually never eat — was so delicious that I couldn’t stop eating it! The mula ko achar and gundruk ko achar were also very tasty. And when it came to the mutton and rice — the mutton tasted exactly how I was hoping for. It felt like home. Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful experience. We will definitely visit again. Thank you to the entire team!

The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just right. Unfortunately, a large group of people ordered before us, so we waited an hour for our food. Despite the wait, the food was delicious. They were hearty and flavourful. If you are in London, this is a must-try spot. They stay opened until 11 pm so it is a great late dinner spot. Highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of dining at Mustang Thakali and Bar,and I must say—it was a truly satisfying and nostalgic experience. I ordered their Special Khaja Set and every single item on the plate told its own delicious story. Chicken Choila – Wow! It was perfectly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The spices were well-balanced, and every bite was packed with bold, smoky flavour. Batmas Sadeko was the perfect start—crispy, well-seasoned, and fresh.The Bara was absolutely authentic—soft on the inside, slightly crispy on the outside, and clearly made fresh with love.The Bodi was perfectly cooked, not too soft, not too firm just right, and soaked in flavours.The Gundruk ko Achar had that comforting, homely taste that took me straight back to childhood. And the best part? The Aalu Tama wow! So rich, tangy, and full of bold flavours. It honestly reminded me of the Kuchi Bhoye dishes served during Newar feasts. That taste of home is something you just can’t fake.This wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. Every bite brought warmth, flavour, and a strong sense of Nepali tradition. We had a delicious dinner here. We ordered the mutton thakali khana set and the buf momos. Everything was amazing and presented beautifully. The server came to the table and poured ghee over the thakali tray from a copper teapot. The fermented diakon are make by the chef's mom (we chatted with him at the end of the meal and learned all about how to make them). And then we were given a lovely yogurt drink at the end of the meal. Very tangy and a great way to end a great meal. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Highly recommend you try this place. You will not be disappointed.

Recently, I visited this restaurant with a friend and we had an amazing experience. Gina greeted us warmly and gave some information about this newly opened restaurant and shared some unknown facts about Nepal . We ordered buff choila for appetizer which was bursting with flavors. After some time we got ourselves thakali khaja set and jhol momo -chicken and I'm not gonna lie that it was one of the best momos I have had so far . After our meal , chef Sugam came to meet us to inquire if the food were good and he was happy that we enjoyed their cuisine very much and we promised to not miss any chance of coming back here again , next time with many of our friends .

Must try restaurant in London, ON. This is real Nepali food. No hakka business. True Thakali food. Amazing. Buff chilli is dynamite. The side dishes of Thakali thali is perfect. Good goat meat. The ambience is nice. Service was super. Very friendly staff.

We had a wonderful time yesterday (November 24). We ordered the chicken lollipop, jhol momo (chicken), and Nepali thali (chicken and mutton). The service and atmosphere were excellent, and the food was of great quality, definitely worth the price. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Binita Didi and her amazing team for such a delightful experience. Wishing the restaurant all the best in the coming days! This is definitely a must-visit place for anyone looking to try authentic Nepali cuisine. Highly recommend it!

Review: "I was really disappointed with my meal. The chicken had a strong, unpleasant smell and a bad taste that made it difficult to enjoy. It didn’t seem fresh, and unfortunately, that ruined the entire experience. I would highly suggest the restaurant reassess the quality and freshness of their ingredients, especially the chicken. This isn’t the standard I was expecting. Chicken lollipop was had a bad taste and doesn’t seems fresh .same in the soup chicken had a bad taste Mainly I ordered MIXED CHOWMEIN REALLY BAD TASTE THE MEAT HAD A BAD SMELL AND BAD TASTE TOOO "I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The chicken looked old and had a bad taste, so I informed the waitress about it. Unfortunately, she didn’t take any action or offer any solutions, which made the experience even worse. The quality of the food was not up to standard, and the lack of response from the staff was disappointing. I won’t be returning unless I hear significant improvements have been made."
