I’m currently in New York City, eagerly waiting to enjoy a bowl of pho, the dish I’ve been craving. I ordered an extra-large pho with extra slices of ribeye. The pho is very delicious, but there’s too much rice noodle, which soaks up all the soup. The restaurant is clean, including the restroom, and it’s conveniently located near the main street, making it easy to access.
Good food - ordered the beef cubes over rice. Like other reviews; the portions are generous and delicious. Also ordered the duck bun appetizer - they offer either three or four pieces and I am glad I chose four; it was also delicious Servers are nice and keep an eye for when the table needs clearing quite regularly which i appreciated Pricing was great and well worth it. The atmosphere felt genuinely inviting and am definitely returning next chance I get
Came here on a weekend for dinner and they had availability, so we got seated right away. I really liked the fusion vibe, and the food was pretty solid. I got the 3-meat combo with chicken, char siu, and duck. The portions were huge, and the char siu was definitely my favorite. I’ll definitely be coming back. Just keep in mind gratuity is included for dine in.
I️ love that the menu has photos. The roast pork salad bowl is my fav. The roti canai is so good, too! Love the Vietnamese Iced coffee, as well. Super clean and the atmosphere is perfect to catch up with friends or if you want to sit and enjoy lunch alone! Local favorite, for sure.
10/10 - great pho! my go to spot if it ever gets too late since they stay open until 1am. I love the pho here. broth is amazing, noodles delicious, and meat tender. I think their other dishes are okay but I personally would stick with the pho. I will add, if you dine in they add tip already when they bring you the bill.
Fast service and tasty food what more can you ask for? The food was so good, I took some home to share! The vegetables were all fresh and not blackened or soggy, generous portions of meat in my LG Pho Tai and the Shrimps in my stuffed summer rolls were overlapping one another and stuffed, compared to some restaurants that are stingy with the shrimp. The restaurant seemed to have just undergone some new renovations and the inside was clean, bright and welcoming. I highly recommend you stop by to try their delicious food! Their menus have pictures! So don't be worried about not knowing what you're ordering!
I recently dined at Phi Hoang in flushing and the food was absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was a burst of flavor, crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. 火車头was a standout—perfectly rich, earthy depth that left me craving more. The menu offered a great balance of classic and innovative options, catering to various tastes. Presentation was impeccable, and the portion sizes were just right. Paired with attentive service and a cozy ambiance, the culinary experience here is top-notch. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!
Really comfy atmosphere, came with my family and really enjoyed the food! The servers were really kind and very attentive! My fav was the lemon iced tea!
Best pho I’ve ever had. The soup was so good and piping hot. They also serve pho that comes with grilled meat instead of the slices in the soup, which is very unique. The rice plates are massive as well
Pho Hoang is a family favorite! We usually get seated at a table for four right away, and the staff knows to bring over the special utensils for our kids. Everyone places their usual food orders (grilled chicken over rice, Peking duck buns, roti canai), and gets served hot and delicious food quickly. It’s a reliable hit every time.
I ordered the beef stew curry and it was very tasty, great flavor. I recommend the fresh lemonade over the lemon iced tea. Great time with my girlfriend she loved it.
Pho Hoang is an absolute gem with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that hit the spot every time. The portions are generous, and the ingredients always taste fresh and high quality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. If you’re craving authentic, comforting pho, this is hands down the best spot to go.
Food was definitely great. Servers are very accommodating and warm as well. Not a minute wasted while we sat there with a big company (we were 13 when we visited). Will surely comeback and enjoy the delicious food. ❤️❤️❤️
I went to Hoang and had such an amazing experience! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made me feel really taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
I had the beef chow fun and for the first time here it was so delicious. I also tried there coffee and it was certainly one of my favs, so much flavor and richness. I would recommend as a date or a family night out.
HUGE menu and quick service! We discovered this place spontaneously and walked in around 11pm (not a lot of options open) and surprisingly decent amount of people inside. We were seated quick and food was large portion sizes; amazing value for the price. The menu was thiccc and extensive. Highly recommend the summer rolls, pho and pork chops!!
i really enjoyed my time here with my family. i had the fresh lemonade and it was very refreshing! the servers were kind and very attentive. was able to get a table without wait :3 10/10
The food is amazing. I got fries as an appetizer and it almost filled me up. The rice and beef was delectable. Personally the egg had too much oil but it was still great. The pho was absolutely amazing and nothing like I had tasted before. Definitely recommend.
Perfect meal for a cold day. The grilled pork chops are a must try. Other favourites would be the Calamari, shrimp and crab cakes in the appetizers. The broth is delicious and honestly reminds me of home. Definitely my go to pho place.
I love the food and service here. I always come to this recommended restaurant.
The best vietnamese restaurant in Flushing!! Service is quick and efficient. Food is consistent and always delicious. Have tried 1/4th of the menu and every single thing was great. A must visit in the neighborhood!!
Been here about 4 times it’s been a good experience each time, food is nice love their pho they give great portion sizes.
Hands down one of the best pho spots in Flushing. The broth is rich, clean, and full of flavor—exactly how authentic pho should taste. You can tell it’s been simmering for hours. The portions are generous, the meat is fresh and tender, and everything comes out hot and quick. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the place stays clean even when it gets busy. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the quality is always consistent. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving real Vietnamese comfort food. I’ll be coming back regularly.
I don't know about the atmosphere as I ordered delivery, but my god have they perfected the pho delivery. It came so cleverly packed and what a brilliant take out pho container. Stayed pipping hot despite a far delivery. And the flavor is divine! Do your self a favor and order your pho here. Today is my birthday and I made an EXCELLENT choice.
There's plenty of seating area and space between each seat. The food is also super good and portions are huge; well worth the price. I particularly love the beef brisket noodles. They make the brisket so tender it melts in your mouth. Each portion comes with multiple briskets and a hefty amount of noodles. The soup itself is so full of flavor, it kinda overwhelms other blinder dishes.
PHO FANTASTIC 🥇🥇 Spotted a 200 person queue for a FREE holiday giveaway meal. It was quite the spectacle with police & barricades to ensure there was no stampede. The energy was vibrant and I can feel it as I was driving by. Parked my Cybertruck up the block and decided to investigate further. The PHO XE LUA is the people’s choice for $15.95, extra Pho noodles for $2 more. In hindsight, the portion is quite big already. 👍👍 18% gratuity is added to bill. I don’t mind since the owner is giving back to the community. But I think customers should have the option to tip between 15-20%…
Good Food, Great Drinks, but Service Needs a Small Tweak Overall, we had a good experience here. The main food dishes were enjoyable, and the drinks were absolutely tasty. The service staff were generally good and attentive. However, a friendly heads-up to first-time visitors: some of the meat options have a strong, distinct scent. If you are sensitive to that, you might want to ask the server for recommendations first. The only real issue was that our meal was repeatedly interrupted by staff insisting we leave a review while we were still eating. We prefer to focus on our food and write an honest review after the experience is complete. This was a bit off-putting and distracted from the overall enjoyment. I will definitely come again to try other.
Probably the best pho place in Flushing I was skeptical about the place since it includes so many cuisines (Chinese, Vietnamese, Maylay), but almost everything I’ve tried has been great their pho’s portion and price is incomparable. really good malaysian noodle dishes too. Also a great place for later eaters since everything in Flushing closes so early now!
I recently visited Pho Hoang again after moving, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the place has changed since my last trip. The interior is noticeably cleaner and brighter, clearly having gone through some renovations that give it a fresh, updated feel. We ordered the two-meat over rice plates—叉燒 and 火肉 (Chinese BBQ pork)—and both were solid choices. The portions were fair, the flavors were decent, and everything came out hot and nicely presented. Reminds me of home. Overall, Pho Hoang feels like it’s stepped up since my last visit. Between the refreshed interior and the reliable food, it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Good pho is hard to find these days. pork chop over rice yes, beef pho, yes, traditional bahn mi, and viet ice coffee. All yes yes's yes's! BTW double check the bill, tip is usually included.
I love a good pho in the past coldest wintry days! After fasting for half a day after a medical procedure, I had the hankering for a hot bowl of soup noodles and Vietnamese cuisine always itches …
I like their roasted duck in dry noodles (not soup) especially the drumsticks of the duck (have to pay extra $1.50) but it’s well worth of money for it tastes great.

Definitely not Viet certified but decent Asian food certified 👍 I got the curry mixed food noodle, very rich in flavor, I added table sambal for more spice! My friend ordered the scramble egg crispy noodle and chow fun because she’s never seen it before but it was a little underwhelming, it has a mix of chow fun and this tiny broken up egg noodle which resulted in unpleasant texture in her mouth. It also has seafood and lots of ingredients but flavor was just disappointing. The vermicelli noodle salad (bún thịt nướng) and bánh mì were okay. We also ordered roasted pork and cha siu, the flavors were good but they were served cold. The dried longan with ice drink was really good and refreshing tho! We went at 2:30pm yet there was a 20min wait because the restaurant was full, but the service was very fast. Tip is automatically added to the bill so check your bill carefully!
I really loved their Singapore noodles and curry pho Edit as of aug25 2025 Tried their pad Thai and I’m afraid to say it was bad, just no flavor at all, seems like chef just mixed a bunch of ingredients used for making the recipe. Super bland and lacks in flavor. Lesson learnt: don’t order Thai food unless it’s a Thai restaurant:(
The food was OK. I ordered pineapple fried rice, which was not the best. It did not have cashews, and rice was different. It was like sushi rice and a little on the sticky side. The duck buns were good, and the Thai bubble ice tea was good. I heard the Pho was good. The crab ragoon was nice. The food was better than the service. They had many waitresses who helped anyone who asked. But a few waitresses had an attitude, and that kind of ruined it for the other waitresses who we super nice.
(4.3/5 stars) this spot is good for their pho. The service is okay - not bad not great. My friend ordered their meat platter and the meats were cold which was horrible. Their pho is good and they give a good amount but they can definitely have improvements. I guess if you don’t care for certain things, it’s a decent pho spot.
Great spot that offers both vietnamese and chinese cuisine. Prices were reasonable for generous portions and quality provided. Service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the soy sauce chicken, roast pork, grilled vietnamese chicken. The only complaint was the crispy pork was on the fattier side, which is common. Would return to try the dry hong kong noodles and banh mi.
Loved their pork chop over rice as a kid and over time tried as their menu expanded. Pho Hoang is a Flushing staple with a blended tasty digital and physical menu with a welcoming message. Service is fast catering to customers dining in and taking out. The dining area and restroom is wheelchair and child friendly. Everything was constantly being cleaned and staff attentive with refills. I got a nicely portioned beef brisket soup. The food was delicious, will be returning again.

I came here for dinner with a group of friends and it wasn't a bad spot. With a history of over 30 years, this spot is a staple in Flushing. It offers a variety of Vietnamese, Malaysian, and Cantonese dishes. Service here is fairly quick. We ordered a variety of dishes here, from Vietnamese bo luc lac and egg rolls to Cantonese meats and peking duck to Malaysian noodles. I enjoyed the eggrolls and thought the portion sizes were good and meat filling. The bo luc lac on the other hand felt very dry and the beef cubes were really tough. The Cantonese meats were solid and I loved the variety that you could choose from. I also enjoyed the Malaysian noodles but wish there was more sauce so it would be more flavorful. Overall, a good spot for affordable food and a variety of comforting dishes, but I think there are better options for food quality elsewhere.
The pho here was good, the wontons were a bit salty but still tasty. I was surprised that the duck was served cold, not even warm just cold. When being seated the waiter who took our order was very quick, not the most friendly. What was off-putting was the self put tip without our acknowledgment of $8. When we got our final receipt of card payment there was still a tip option, the highest still being less than $8. I was about to tip when my friend told me it was already put in. We usually tip anyway but failure of telling us it was already put in, then having a tip option is sketchy.
Pho hoang is a decent restaurant with good pho. I’ve been here more than ten times, ordering takeout & dine in, although I do have two complaints. Their pho is delicious, but often times the flavor of the broth is not consistent. Some times it’s watery, other times it’s very flavorful, it’s rlly just a hit or miss. But when it does come out good, it’s delicious. Ofc I know this happens because they are making everything from scratch , but it’s just something to be mindful of. Another thing is their other dishes. I only ever get pho but I did happen to get a rice and meat dish, the three meat choice over rice . The food came out and 90% of it was bone. It was very frustrating. Meat had no flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed since I do come here from the Bronx to sit down and enjoy a delicious comforting meal. Other than that, everything else is good and waiters are great and food comes out quick. I haven’t tried any other dishes so I won’t speak on the rest. Also, they do take gratuity automatically from the check which I just became aware of a few trips ago. Other than that, it’s a good place with authentic food, but it could be better.
wonton noodle soup was good. The chopped meats were good. Not a fan of the Pho. I've had better. \nMalaysian dishes were not the best.

Went here last night with my boyfriend. Let’s talk about it. The atmosphere was fine. The service, every worker just stands to the side and stares at you, especially the person who waits on you. The whole meal, for around 45 minutes, 2 waitresses stood 5 feet away and stared at us. Made me really uncomfortable. The food? The food was brought out so fast. You can tell immediately after 1 bite that it’s old. Spring rolls were terrible. Same with the crab Rangoon, not bad but still pretty old, we went there at around 7pm. We also got the chicken pho, the soup base was nice I liked it, but the chicken they put on the side was terrible. Very very old chicken, hard pieces inside that you could’ve chew. It was hard overall. Everything premade and not authentic, super old tasting. If they took their time to actually make the food it would have been a better experience. I don’t know how they are a 4.4 star restaurant. Terrible place and never going back again.
We were incredibly disappointed. My girlfriend used to love this place and was really excited to take me. They messed up multiple parts of our order. All of my meat was cold, and I understand that sometimes it's served that way but it was not good. I also didn't love that they auto added a tip and then basically had another tip box on the receipt. Will not be coming back here unfortunately.
Beware Tip is already included. Food and service was decent but bill includes a tip that they don’t disclose and it was for only a party of 2. I have not seen a restaurant do this is flushing ever. When you ask to pay by card they quickly take the bill away and return with a credit card bill without line item so you cannot tell. Only realized after thinking about it and looking at other reviews. Surprised not more people are posting about it.
disgusting. the pho tasted horrible, not authentic at all. do not come here. the service is bad. the food is bad.
terrible food, terrible service, dirty atmosphere pho was mid, duck buns were ok, banh mi was disgusting, would not return

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant expecting a nice meal and a good time. However, we were met with awful customer service. The server did not check up on us once, did not refill the water, and our food was literally tossed onto the table. What bothered us most was the clear favoritism shown toward other customers while we were treated horribly. The discriminatory behavior was horrendous. Stay away from this god awful place.
Honestly, my second time here in three months, and the feeling is the same. Saturday morning 9am, the servers’ attitudes are unwelcoming, and the food is very small portions and not as described. We asked for regular hot coffee that was on the menu, but was told that it wasn’t available and only their Vietnamese coffee was available which was more than twice the price and only lukewarm warm when served. The food was definitely small portions, served sloppily, and stingy with the ingredients. We had a preserved egg porridge and capitan noodles. I think the worse part were the waitresses who didn’t care to serve you and were taking table orders from other customers just at the register and shouting at them. I don’t think I will be back. So many more better options around. They also include tip into the bill which is unusual.
Food is not bad but they have bill scam. It does not matter how many people dine in. They automatically add 20% service charge. There is no sign says about service fee. When you ask server about that, she pretends she does not understand English. Full of scam. Be careful using your credit card and make sure take a picture with f detailed receipt! Stay away from scam!!!!
my first mistake was coming in with high expectations because of all the 4-5 star reviews. my boyfriend and i spent $115 on 3 dishes that we couldn’t even leave a dent in because of the lack of flavor. starting with the duck buns , i had to put it down after one bite and my boyfriend who loves duck couldn’t even get past one bun. i had the beef with flat noodles (the picture posted) and i could barely get myself to finish it because of how bland it was. we somewhat enjoyed the beef short ribs (kalbi) but then again 3/4 of the plate was rice and random veggies. the only thing i can comfortably say i enjoyed were the crab rangoons but come on, for $115 good crab rangoons are the bareee minimum. i soon realized that almost all the positive reviews that are posted are incentivized with free boba or some type of free food which is unfortunate.
Pho tastes sweet. It wasn’t very good, didn’t taste like authentic pho, just tastes like oil and sweetness. Not only that but the service was horrible, they didn’t come to check on our table once. We had like 5 different servers, and it wasn’t even full. There were countless times where my friend would call the waiter for something when they were literally not even 3 feet away and they would just ignore us. Not only that but after all that, the bill was $107. They added a tip we did not add which brought the bill from a $80 to $107. After all that horrible service, we were not about to tip them that much, the service was absolutely awful. And when we asked about the tip, they asked us if we wanted to give a bigger tip… like what? All you guys did was give us our bowls and did not help us once until it was time to pay. Do not recommend coming here
Honestly have no idea what I was eating. I ordered the pho bo kho, and it was horrible. It tasted sweet? I’ve never had pho that was sweet. It was sweet and oily which is just inedible. I also ordered the pho with beef slices and it had no flavor. Tasted like water with oil. So completely disgusted with this place. Our whole dine in experience was unbearable, the servers paid no attention to us. It took twenty minutes to get the check and leave. On top of that, they add an automatic gratuity. Ridiculous. Do not come here. There are so many pho places nearby, this is not worth it.
RUN!!!!!! Don’t get fooled by the reviews!!! This place is a scam. They sneak a so-called “gratitude fee” onto your bill without telling you how much it is — and it’s way higher than you’d expect. Who does that? Absolutely shady. The duck bun was disgusting , drowned in salty sauce so strong you can’t even taste the duck, not that there’s much duck to begin with. The meat looks something in the picture but it was actually very tiny and full of jjustthe skin, barely there, like they’re rationing it. And the menu says $2.50 each, but guess what? You’re forced to order three. Total bait and switch. Then there’s the durian smoothie - watery, bland, and tastes like someone waved a durian near it but forgot to actually put any in. Honestly, this place is a rip-off. Overpriced, deceptive, and the food is terrible. Don’t waste your time or your money - you’ll just walk out annoyed and hungry.
