The food is amazing. I got fries as an appetizer and it almost filled me up. The rice and beef was delectable. Personally the egg had too much oil but it was still great. The pho was absolutely amazing and nothing like I had tasted before. Definitely recommend.
Perfect meal for a cold day. The grilled pork chops are a must try. Other favourites would be the Calamari, shrimp and crab cakes in the appetizers. The broth is delicious and honestly reminds me of home. Definitely my go to pho place.
I love the food and service here. I always come to this recommended restaurant.
The best vietnamese restaurant in Flushing!! Service is quick and efficient. Food is consistent and always delicious. Have tried 1/4th of the menu and every single thing was great. A must visit in the neighborhood!!
Been here about 4 times it’s been a good experience each time, food is nice love their pho they give great portion sizes.
Hands down one of the best pho spots in Flushing. The broth is rich, clean, and full of flavor—exactly how authentic pho should taste. You can tell it’s been simmering for hours. The portions are generous, the meat is fresh and tender, and everything comes out hot and quick. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the place stays clean even when it gets busy. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the quality is always consistent. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving real Vietnamese comfort food. I’ll be coming back regularly.
I don't know about the atmosphere as I ordered delivery, but my god have they perfected the pho delivery. It came so cleverly packed and what a brilliant take out pho container. Stayed pipping hot despite a far delivery. And the flavor is divine! Do your self a favor and order your pho here. Today is my birthday and I made an EXCELLENT choice.
There's plenty of seating area and space between each seat. The food is also super good and portions are huge; well worth the price. I particularly love the beef brisket noodles. They make the brisket so tender it melts in your mouth. Each portion comes with multiple briskets and a hefty amount of noodles. The soup itself is so full of flavor, it kinda overwhelms other blinder dishes.
PHO FANTASTIC 🥇🥇 Spotted a 200 person queue for a FREE holiday giveaway meal. It was quite the spectacle with police & barricades to ensure there was no stampede. The energy was vibrant and I can feel it as I was driving by. Parked my Cybertruck up the block and decided to investigate further. The PHO XE LUA is the people’s choice for $15.95, extra Pho noodles for $2 more. In hindsight, the portion is quite big already. 👍👍 18% gratuity is added to bill. I don’t mind since the owner is giving back to the community. But I think customers should have the option to tip between 15-20%…
Good Food, Great Drinks, but Service Needs a Small Tweak Overall, we had a good experience here. The main food dishes were enjoyable, and the drinks were absolutely tasty. The service staff were generally good and attentive. However, a friendly heads-up to first-time visitors: some of the meat options have a strong, distinct scent. If you are sensitive to that, you might want to ask the server for recommendations first. The only real issue was that our meal was repeatedly interrupted by staff insisting we leave a review while we were still eating. We prefer to focus on our food and write an honest review after the experience is complete. This was a bit off-putting and distracted from the overall enjoyment. I will definitely come again to try other.
Probably the best pho place in Flushing I was skeptical about the place since it includes so many cuisines (Chinese, Vietnamese, Maylay), but almost everything I’ve tried has been great their pho’s portion and price is incomparable. really good malaysian noodle dishes too. Also a great place for later eaters since everything in Flushing closes so early now!
I recently visited Pho Hoang again after moving, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the place has changed since my last trip. The interior is noticeably cleaner and brighter, clearly having gone through some renovations that give it a fresh, updated feel. We ordered the two-meat over rice plates—叉燒 and 火肉 (Chinese BBQ pork)—and both were solid choices. The portions were fair, the flavors were decent, and everything came out hot and nicely presented. Reminds me of home. Overall, Pho Hoang feels like it’s stepped up since my last visit. Between the refreshed interior and the reliable food, it’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Good pho is hard to find these days. pork chop over rice yes, beef pho, yes, traditional bahn mi, and viet ice coffee. All yes yes's yes's! BTW double check the bill, tip is usually included.
I love a good pho in the past coldest wintry days! After fasting for half a day after a medical procedure, I had the hankering for a hot bowl of soup noodles and Vietnamese cuisine always itches …
I like their roasted duck in dry noodles (not soup) especially the drumsticks of the duck (have to pay extra $1.50) but it’s well worth of money for it tastes great.

Great spot that offers both vietnamese and chinese cuisine. Prices were reasonable for generous portions and quality provided. Service was attentive and friendly. I recommend the soy sauce chicken, roast pork, grilled vietnamese chicken. The only complaint was the crispy pork was on the fattier side, which is common. Would return to try the dry hong kong noodles and banh mi.
Loved their pork chop over rice as a kid and over time tried as their menu expanded. Pho Hoang is a Flushing staple with a blended tasty digital and physical menu with a welcoming message. Service is fast catering to customers dining in and taking out. The dining area and restroom is wheelchair and child friendly. Everything was constantly being cleaned and staff attentive with refills. I got a nicely portioned beef brisket soup. The food was delicious, will be returning again.
It was Monday night around 11pm. This place was still open. Not that busy. Was able to place order for takeout quickly. First time here so went a bit safe and tried the Phở Xe Lửa. It was a tad pricy…

Pho hoang is a decent restaurant with good pho. I’ve been here more than ten times, ordering takeout & dine in, although I do have two complaints. Their pho is delicious, but often times the flavor of the broth is not consistent. Some times it’s watery, other times it’s very flavorful, it’s rlly just a hit or miss. But when it does come out good, it’s delicious. Ofc I know this happens because they are making everything from scratch , but it’s just something to be mindful of. Another thing is their other dishes. I only ever get pho but I did happen to get a rice and meat dish, the three meat choice over rice . The food came out and 90% of it was bone. It was very frustrating. Meat had no flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed since I do come here from the Bronx to sit down and enjoy a delicious comforting meal. Other than that, everything else is good and waiters are great and food comes out quick. I haven’t tried any other dishes so I won’t speak on the rest. Also, they do take gratuity automatically from the check which I just became aware of a few trips ago. Other than that, it’s a good place with authentic food, but it could be better.
wonton noodle soup was good. The chopped meats were good. Not a fan of the Pho. I've had better. \nMalaysian dishes were not the best.

my first mistake was coming in with high expectations because of all the 4-5 star reviews. my boyfriend and i spent $115 on 3 dishes that we couldn’t even leave a dent in because of the lack of flavor. starting with the duck buns , i had to put it down after one bite and my boyfriend who loves duck couldn’t even get past one bun. i had the beef with flat noodles (the picture posted) and i could barely get myself to finish it because of how bland it was. we somewhat enjoyed the beef short ribs (kalbi) but then again 3/4 of the plate was rice and random veggies. the only thing i can comfortably say i enjoyed were the crab rangoons but come on, for $115 good crab rangoons are the bareee minimum. i soon realized that almost all the positive reviews that are posted are incentivized with free boba or some type of free food which is unfortunate.
Pho tastes sweet. It wasn’t very good, didn’t taste like authentic pho, just tastes like oil and sweetness. Not only that but the service was horrible, they didn’t come to check on our table once. We had like 5 different servers, and it wasn’t even full. There were countless times where my friend would call the waiter for something when they were literally not even 3 feet away and they would just ignore us. Not only that but after all that, the bill was $107. They added a tip we did not add which brought the bill from a $80 to $107. After all that horrible service, we were not about to tip them that much, the service was absolutely awful. And when we asked about the tip, they asked us if we wanted to give a bigger tip… like what? All you guys did was give us our bowls and did not help us once until it was time to pay. Do not recommend coming here
Honestly have no idea what I was eating. I ordered the pho bo kho, and it was horrible. It tasted sweet? I’ve never had pho that was sweet. It was sweet and oily which is just inedible. I also ordered the pho with beef slices and it had no flavor. Tasted like water with oil. So completely disgusted with this place. Our whole dine in experience was unbearable, the servers paid no attention to us. It took twenty minutes to get the check and leave. On top of that, they add an automatic gratuity. Ridiculous. Do not come here. There are so many pho places nearby, this is not worth it.
RUN!!!!!! Don’t get fooled by the reviews!!! This place is a scam. They sneak a so-called “gratitude fee” onto your bill without telling you how much it is — and it’s way higher than you’d expect. Who does that? Absolutely shady. The duck bun was disgusting , drowned in salty sauce so strong you can’t even taste the duck, not that there’s much duck to begin with. The meat looks something in the picture but it was actually very tiny and full of jjustthe skin, barely there, like they’re rationing it. And the menu says $2.50 each, but guess what? You’re forced to order three. Total bait and switch. Then there’s the durian smoothie - watery, bland, and tastes like someone waved a durian near it but forgot to actually put any in. Honestly, this place is a rip-off. Overpriced, deceptive, and the food is terrible. Don’t waste your time or your money - you’ll just walk out annoyed and hungry.
