Great food, amazing service, clean establishment. And good price.
Good tasty food, fine service and affordable price. Great for a quick bite.
Xiao long bao wins the day, so delicious and hot after a cold and windy day in Brooklyn
Food was good, prices are fair, nice place, nice employees, very clean, definitely will come back again!
I've been daydreaming about the ma-ma fish stew and cucumber salad ever since visiting.
Good food, clean restaurants, Spacesous, good price
The most authentic Chinese food I've ever had.
staple chinese food on 8th ave.. highly recommend
Food is good, service is okay, and one bathroom
Great food quality and tasty vermicelli soup. Will come here again. I would recommend the duck noodle soup as well. You can add spicy if you would like more.
Always love coming here for the sour beef stew, + the ppl at the front speak english, the staff not really. the food is really good, you don’t have to leave tips unless you want to and they have big portions. love this place
Really Decent Nanjing taste!!! The soup is not that salty, and I love the duck blood pudding here! I will go there again if I come to NY again next time!
The soup is really good, and the Chinese flavor is authentic. One of the best duck soup in NYC. Will come here again for Chinese food.
The Braised Pork Noodle Soup I ordered left me so satisfied and full that I had to write a review for it. This restaurant is a nice, chill place to eat with friends and relax.😸😸
When I give a 5 star it is really a 5 star. Excellent dishes!!
My wife and I had a wonderful lunch after visited Botnic Garden. Ordered at counter and food brought out to us quickly. Very reasonable price, clean setting.
I love the duck soup and other soup so much. It both smells and taste so good. Also, xiaolong bao is really yummy!
The duck meat noodle soup was so good. Remind me of homemade recipe. Fried pork dumplings were also good
Great restaurant for having duck soup noodle. Overall the service and food are excellent. Food is affordable and decent quality.
Great food! I really like the duck noodle soup! The location is also great and easy. Recommend!
The food is delicious, the service attitude is very good, the environment is clean, and I will go eat again next time
Good food, good price, and also good atmosphere. There’s also container cups available which made sharing very easy. The dessert was very refreshing.
This is my favorite place to get a quick bite to eat at in this part of Brooklyn. The combo with the potstickers and wontons are always my go-to.
Huge fan of these noodles. I just love simple and yet delicious meals.
The restaurants is always busy with customers. I always get the B3 Lunch combo here and I love the stickers.
Excellent food. Fast friendly service. Will come and order again.
This place is pretty good, I went there a couple of times and I really enjoyed the food. Will recommend.
My food came in in only 1 minute as soon as someone went to the bathroom to wait for it The best service ever
I do take out usually and sometimes dine in. Order at the counter, seat yourself and grab utensils yourself. Basic but cute interior. I eat on a budget so I just get the basic noodle soup with tofu for $5. They also have combos if you want noodle soup with dumplings or some other meat. Flavor is great, also one of the few restaurants that takes card, but they do have a $15min
Always excellent. The duck noodle soup is a standout dish, with a hearty and flavorful broth, and the portion size is more than generous. Don’t miss out on their delectable dumplings and dessert 红糖冰粉 as well. Price is affordable.
This restaurant is incredibly affordable, and the food is really good. As a native of Nanjing, I'm highly satisfied with their duck blood and vermicelli soup and Nanjing salted duck. The name "Osmanthus Duck" comes from the most famous brand of salted duck, Guihua, so it's not because there's actually osmanthus in it; the owner didn't make a mistake. The sour and spicy duck noodle soup and fish stew noodle soup are also excellent, making it a paradise for noodle soup lovers.
Very nice meal and good service. Me and my husband love the soup dumplings best . I like spicy sauce which on the table. It tastes even better with spicy!we will come back.
For the price the food is worth it😆😆 Good place for a group because u can order a bunch of dishes and share it all for a low price. My group of 5 split the bill and each paid $7. It's clean too, once ur done the cleaning guy comes over and picks up all the empty dishes. Really helpful if u can speak mandarin too.
Only place around with reasonably priced soup dumplings for the most consistently good bites. My favorite is the scallion oil noodles, I can eat two or three bowls while chasing it down with the standard soup dumplings. It’s absolutely delicious.
Delicious food for a good price. Their spicy tofu noodles with pan fried pork dumplings are my favorite. The place is super chill and there's plenty of seats.
Wow, I’m not a duck fan at all but I was convinced to come here by my boyfriend. We ordered the osmanthus duck vermicelli noodle soup with ice jelly and man was I so amazed by how good the duck was. The duck was nice and salty. The glass noodles and soup were super flavorful. I would come here again for lunch just to eat their duck.
After getting a good massage around the area, my friend and I went to have dinner together at this restaurant The food was great and the price was affordable Would love to try something more but we were stuffed haha We enjoyed eating and would love to come back again when we are in Brooklyn
The Clay Pot Chicken at Yozi is fantastic—the chicken is tender and flavorful, simmered in a rich broth that soaks beautifully into the vermicelli. A warm, hearty dish that’s perfect for a comforting meal!
Great place for a meal or for something lighter. You walk in, order your food and sit down with the little buzzer they give you. It's usually pretty busy but they have seating downstairs as well. Your food comes quick and it's delicious. I'll usually get the soup dumplings (highly recommended) and the pot stickers are great as well. Those two things alone have kept me coming back again and again.
Good food, nice attentive staff. Don't forget to let them know if you want your food spicy or not spicy. You can also tweak your order to include other ingredients like tofu, chicken, etc. Overall a great foodie experience.
Yozi 游子老鸭粉丝汤 is an absolute gem in Brooklyn! The duck vermicelli soup is incredibly flavorful, rich, and comforting. The broth tastes like it’s been simmered for hours. The service is quick, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere feels warm and authentic. I will definitely be coming back again and again!
Affordable, clean, and offering a satisfying meal: you order and pay at the counter, then take your buzzer to find a table. They serve you the food at your table. Although I don’t usually eat duck, I like noodle soup. I’d recommend trying the soup dumplings (very juicy) and the Guihua duck noodle soup, which has duck meat. The other duck dish, without “Guihua”, has only duck intestines and blood. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys noodle soup and is looking for a quick meal in the area.
I have been coming here since it first opened, I have never been disappointed the food is really delicious. I always take the N train to work and when I come back, I stop by to buy noodles for dinner. The person who attends at the Front Desk is friendly. In the basement there are also tables availables so you can "dinner in". I really love order Beef Noodles with tomato soup (the portion is fabulous) and Xiao Long Bao 🍜🥟🥢😋❤️
The food here is exceptional. Love the authenticity of this place. Once you go in, you order at the front and take a device if you are dining in to a table and they will find you once your order is ready. The potstickers are crunchy and good. The noodles and soup were also great. The beef melts in your mouth. They also have hot chili oil and soy sauce on the table if you need more. Again, the authentic taste of china foods is great here!
Came here an hour before closing. Very clean restaurant. Friendly, patient, and accomodating staff. Ma-ma fish soup was really good and numbing. Ample amount of fresh fish slices, crunchy bean sprout, and crunchy cabbage. The rice was aromatic and flaky. The sour spicy duck noodle was good too. Ample amount of tofu, noodles, duck internal organs (blood, liver, gizzard, etc). Not for the faint of heart 🙂. 9/2024 Edit : got the B4 and B5 options. 生煎包were very good and so filled with soup! Wontons were delicious and plump as well!
Absolutely Love Yozi! If you want a good price for a good bowl of duck vermicelli noodles, this is THE place to go. Yozi noodles are delicious with a simple-taste meaning the flavors are not overwhelming. There are also a variety of other meals and dishes such as dumplings, potstickers, rice and stew- all good choices as well. (Although the main spotlight is still on the vermicelli noodles.) Some of my favorites are the Osmanthus Duck Vermicelli Noodle Soup, Honey Chrysanthemum Tea, and Brown Sugar Ice Jelly (In love), which I highly recommend after many visits with my family to this place. The service here is indeed commendable, with each and every staff member being friendly and polite. Every time I walk into the restaurant, I feel more at ease. The place is always kept clean, and the decorations are all very nice.
The restaurants interior is nice. You order at the front and then get a table. The soup dumplings and wonton were pretty good. No complaints.
Husband loves the potstickers. Hot and sour noodle soup is a strong kick. Love it.
On this very rainy day, over half seats are full and seems popular with teens. Bathroom was neat and clean.
This restaurant is quite big and it is really clean. The wait for some items were long but some were fast. The prices were quite expensive. A can of soda costs $1.50! Outside at a deli, it would only cost $1-1.25. Luckily, the employees knew English. It's a pretty good place for Lunch or Dinner.
Soup dumplings are very good. Love the duck soup.. broth is delicious. The coldspicy beef was really good Wonton soup is huge and delicious. Really like this place. I think the pot stickers were just ok compared how delicious everything else was we ate.
Menu and kiosk not same price, bathroom very clean and table booths very clean, Duck soup broth tasty but the fried tofu is awful not like pic on menu, and the clear noodles impossible to slurp and chew. Soup buns standard dipping sauce generic, pigs ear was tasty and coconut drink is in a can nothing fancy. Order and pay tipping optional
It won't blow your mind away but will get the job done. The food is affordable and decent for the price. I would come here if you short on money. You don't have to tip and the dumplings are all pretty juicy. my favorite item was pan fried soup dumplings.
When here with my parents for lunch. We got a bowl of chili vermicelli noodles each, potstickers, and a dessert that had sesame mochi balls in a drunk osmanthus soup. The noodles are chew and just the right texture and the soup is pretty good little, tho a bit light/blend in my opinion. The potstickers are quite thin, but tasty nonetheless. My parents didn’t like the dessert, but I quite like it but with the alcohol content toned down even further.
Soup Dumplings were very good probably even better than ones you find at Chinatown, at a reasonable price might I add. For those who haven’t gone here, you grab a menu, find a table to sit yourself in, then when you are done looking, go up to the counter to order and pay and they give you a number tag kind of like what you would see at shake n shack. The food will come momentarily around 10-15 min.
Great place to eat a quick lunch. The staff are friendly and I dined in and ate on lower level. very quiet space. food came out in about 10 minutes and we also had a moderately sized order. food was very tasty but the sauerkraut fish was a tad bit overly sour. i couldn’t eat much of the veggie in it as it was quite pungent. if you like that it would be a great match for you! not for me however. the pan fried pork soup dumplings are extremely yummy though. perfectly soupy and the delicious crisp at the end. wonton soup was pretty average but not bad on the pricing side. but the pork one was not good. very small pieces of pork. please order shrimp wonton if you go. overall pretty decent but don’t know if i want to go back for a meal with friends.
The soup dumplins are really good. The meat is fresh with slight hint of crab flavor and aroma, very juicy and be careful it's hot. The thinly spiced duck meat is tender and flavorful. The savory broth keeps you warm in a cold rainy day. The place is good for family and friends for a quick meal.
Good, but lacking flavor. I expected the Duck Noodle Soup to have a stronger, deeper taste but it’s more similar to clear soup with a hint of creaminess. The fish stew also lacked depth because it was barely sour at all. The flavors here are muted and subtle. The soup dumplings are solid though not the best. I personally wouldn’t recommend paying more for the rainbow ones - just get the standard basket. And the Nanjing salted duck is tender. Overall, it’s a really convenient spot for quick eats.
Great spot for duck noodle soup and xiao long bao. Definitely not the best you’ll find in the area, but overall really good and solid value if you get the combo meal. The restaurant is clean with comfortable booths and designed to cater to younger customers. Glad I checked it out, might come back again.
The restaurant sign and the menu indicate duck vermicelli noodle soup is their signature dish, so we ordered it. My friend ordered Duck vermicelli noodle soup + original steamed soup dumpling (combo#1) and I ordered the Osmanthus duck vermicelli noodle soup. Her order is mainly duck entrails and the noodle. If you want duck meat, the osmanthus duck vermicelli will be for you. They cut the duck meat into tiny pieces, but the noodle and the soup base are good. This restaurant is semi full service. We ordered and paid at the cashier when we walked in and a staff brought the order to our table. The price is not expensive and the environment is clean.
The noodles are nice and chewy but the other dishes could really use some work…. Especially the sour slice beef stew and Mama fish stew. I was expecting a lot more since this place was highly recommended to me by my friends.
Noodle is fine but the soup dumplings are very bad, they taste stale. The store is nice and well maintained.
I was really looking forward to this! The restaurant looked really nice. First thing I noticed was the service. They didn’t set the tables with napkins or anything. We had to get it ourselves. Then, we walked to the counter for our order and ordered it ourselves. We got our food quickly, which was good. And the price was fine. But the taste, really! I was expecting “Delicious and Healthy” but it was too spicy and salty. They put too much taste. So I’m not a hater, but I would say 3 stars honestly.
The only good thing about this place is the price. Other than that, the food is heavy in MSG yet still tasted bland. The AC hardly cools on a 85 degrees day. No tip required, but there is always a line to place an order, and you have to fight for a seat. You would almost think you are back in China. Recommended for customer who wants a quick meal, but don't expect anything special about the food.
If you’ve never been to Manhattan Chinatown, you might consider this above par. I found it to be very middle of the line. Nothing really special, it’s almost self-serve, which I honestly hate, and I was not very impressed with the food. The soup dumplings were average at best, the shrimp and pork soup was good, but I’ve had much better. The chicken clay pot looks like it taste like it came out of a standard Chinese restaurant, maybe a little bit higher quality.
The highlight of the meal was the leek and pork potstickers— it was flavorful and had a good crunch. Personally, I did not enjoy the braised beef noodle. The spice level is manageable; I'm pretty sure they just added chili oil into it and that was it. The braised beef was somewhat tender but the dish itself was lacking flavor overall. This place is affordable so take it for what it is. Perhaps I should've ordered something else? I read the reviews saying the duck noodle soup was good so I'd love to give this place another chance. And they're very quick with serving you.
front lady with short brown hair was very rude when we were ordering. She was rushing me and gave me an attitude right as I walked in I liked the other lady though she was very patient with us the other time we came.
while I appreciate the quick ordering and timing of food arrival, the food was not great. this seems like a place to grab a quick bite, with many large groups and young adults, not a place to get quality food. the best dish was the shrimp wontons, with good texture but slightly a salty and with tons of msg. the fried dumplings tasted fine but it was cooked with a LOT of oil. was excited to eat the sour and spicy noodles but they were not sour at all - mainly mala spicy. the problem was, I ate a quarter of the dish just to find 2 baby roaches. PSA: PLEASE PAY ATTENTION to what you're eating.
VERY BAD I USUALLY DONT GET DIARRHEA I ONLY GET IT RARELY. WHILE TASTING I KNOW THAT IT TASTES LIKE OVERNIGHT FOOD AND NOT ARE MADE WITH NOT CLEAN FOOD. AND IM NOT WRONG I WAS IN THE BATHROOM FOR VERY LONG, I HAD DANCE REHEARSALS!!!!😡😡😡
The food taste ok but there are some safety issues. I have being having diarrhea since i ate the food. It is been two days since the meal.
This is a self serve place. Fast food vibes and the food is awful. We went to the Bay Parkway location and everything we tried was horrible no flavor. If you like water for broth then this is your place. The dumplings are even worse they were dry. Save your money and don’t come here.
