I love this cozy little spot. They have the best pho(such flavorful broth) and such a calm, warm environment. I love it here ❤️
A cold day calls for pho! It was my first time trying this place. I ordered a vegetarian pho with snowpeas and broccoli. Ordered online and the food was ready on time, piping hot. Everything was packaged neatly, so no spills in the car. I thought it tasted flavorful and wasn’t too salty with all the mix-ins and sauces added. If halal meat options are available, I would definitely like to try more variations.
I was in town a few times for work and came back to this place every single time. Quiet. Cozy. Friendly. Quick. Delicious. Good portion sizes. 10/10
We stumbled into this gem. We were looking for pho, I happened to see the Bahn Mi sandwich and I had to have it, it’s been 10 years since I’ve had one, it’s rare to find a good one. This one was AMAZING! The bread was crispy, all of the ingredients so fresh! I highly recommend! My husband and mother in law had the pho and they absolutely loved it! You can customize them and do so on your own on tablets they provide. Will absolutely come here very often!
The "traditional" banh mí was amazing. Plenty of butter, the pickle, pork belly, chicken (?) paté, and bread were all excellent. Partner got beef pho, which was also great. The broth was particularly good. We also tried the Autumn rolls, which were novel and delicious. The woman working was super friendly too.
I love this restaurant so much. I wish I could go there everyday 😭❤️ I get a beef broth pho with chicken breast and it’s so delicious every time. It’s so satisfying with all the flavors and toppings. The broth, the noodles, 🍜 greens. 🥬 I left sweating and felt like I left a sauna because of all the spices. The staff is always so kind and friendly. Take out is so good too.
We love Pho Yum! Especially the summer rolls! The pho is delicious with all of the ingredients to add on. Get the extra Yum sauce! So tasty!
Been coming to this place a few years now. I absolutely love hate the ordering system. These iPad devices that make it more difficult than help. Not easy if you want to customize a dish . I also don’t like to pay in advance or tip before I get my food. I guess this cuts employee costs . The pho is basic . Everything is served in paper or plastic plates or bowls. The food is good, but minimal, not many veggies in the soup , instead of having sauces like hoisin on the table like most pho restaurants, they bring you these tiny little cups . The bathroom is gross
We ordered Pho noodle soup. First thing to do is taste the broth. Which I did...it was so tasty and delicious. No need to add any other ingredients besides for hotness. Everything was disposable, from the bowls to the utensils. I would recommend any of the Pho bowls in the menu. I will definitely go here again if I'm in the area.
Not the worst pho I've ever had, not the best. Got this around 7:45pm. The needed some more condiments and fixings. I got a really small lime and hardly any basil. The sauces they give weren't really filled to what I expected them to be. The banh mi was good. Also not a huge fan of their pricing system.
The price is very high for this location. $11 for broth and you have to add meat for $4 and it won’t be enough. I am a small girl, and I added 2 different meat and I left hungry after eating my pho. And my summer roll looked like it was cooked in advance like on the morning or the day before. Was really cold and some parsley or whatever it was looked old inside. But, we were served very quick, so could hop on the road.
Food was not fresh (brown lettuce, wilted greens), beef was inedible with the beef and rice dish - it was like trying to eat jerky. The pho was a much darker broth and im used to a lighter broth. The broth of the pho had fair enough flavor but honestly I worry about quality control when greens arent fresh and food isnt cooked properly We did call and ask for a refund of the beef and the person on the phone did say they'd speak with the manager and get it refunded but we'll see. We usually go with Vans but unfortunately can be difficult to get ahold of on certain days but in this case going forward we'll wait it out
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The customer service was terrible. The lady at the front was rude, not-helpful and begging for a tip. The pho was disgusting, we couldn’t even finish it. We ordered boba tea and that was also disgusting, you could see it separating. There were flies while we were eating. I would definitely not eat here again and won’t recommend it to anyone. If you really want good pho, I’d recommend Pho Van in Schenectady.
It was my first time eating there last night. The food was not bad, but it came out in a paper bowl. I have multiple stainless steel cups in my car for coffee because paper cups release tons of micro-plastics in hot coffee. I would never go back to this restaurant.
This place is abysmal, they charge extra for every little thing such as adding meat to your soup. This would be fine if I were asking for extra but they don’t put anything in the soup to begin with, they just give you broth and noodles. They offer no combination items or anything on their menu. This forces you to pay $3-$5 for each meat you want to add to your broth, which is mediocre at best. I always ask for extra limes with my pho and I never get charged because it is already included in the toppings, however this restaurant likes to charge you a dollar for literally one extra quarter slice of lime! This place is incredibly cheap and you can tell their food quality is lacking because as other reviews state, they serve in disposable eating utensils and bowls that come pre-prepared and shows the food is not made fresh. I used to work at the Mr. Subb next door and their food deliveries came in a white (unrefrigerated obviously) GMC Suburban, the delivery was not ingredients to make the food fresh in store, but already pre-prepared and portioned meals which is why it comes in plastic ware. The only reason I can see why this place gets good reviews is because there are not many Vietnamese places around here so you think they are your only option but this is not true!!! I beg of you if you want good quality pho at a better price please go to VAN’S in Albany on Central Ave. They offer a wider selection of dishes, that are of way higher quality that is made to order, their service is amazing and they will not nickel and dime you along the way. 😉
Worst pho I’ve ever had. The broth was pure MSG, the meat was paper-thin and looked almost fake, and everything was served in disposable bowls and dishes, making it feel like a cheap takeout meal rather than a proper restaurant experience. I never thought pho could be this bad. We were starving, but I couldn’t even eat it. I ended up giving my food to my poor husband, who only ate it because he was absolutely famished. We will never be coming back.
Low value for money. Mediocre to below expectation food quality. Decent service. The bowl, spoon, and chopsticks were all disposable paper kinds. The meat portion was small. See photos, that's a $22 order (before tips). This is kind of McDonald's quality, not restaurant quality. Suggest comparing with Pho Today chain to see what a good Pho is.
