The Breakfast Spot in Lake George, NY is fantastic!! The hospitality and service were really friendly yet fast and efficient. The menu offers a wide variety of food not found everywhere and, let me tell you, the reasonably priced food was absolutely DELICIOUS! I can not recommend this restaurant enough!!

Tasty food, great prices, good portions, excellent service. The Breakfast Spot is a no frills establishment, very local, very friendly - everyone knows everyone. There's a good amount of seating at the counter and of course tables are available as well. They accept card and cash for payment and have music streaming in the background as you eat. I'd come back here for breakfast again.

Me and my husband went to the breakfast spot a couple times and gotta say that the food was amazing and the gentleman that waited on us was very pleasant. We were the only Caucasian folks in there and we were treated with respect.. certainly will be going back!

The breakfast spot on central avenue in Albany N.Y. is hands down, the absolute best breakfast place in capital region! Ordered French Toast with side of Home fries and when I took the first bite I was risked away to my childhood when I use to eat in Lil breakfast spots while growing up. These places are few and far between and it surely is a diamond in the rough. Food is absolutely fantastic and delicious, staff is Curteous and prompt. And prices are stuck in the early eighties while giving you nice portion sizes. If your looking for phenomenal Food and that ol' coffee shop/diner feel while not trying to break the bank to do so then this is your place. Absolutely Fantastic!!

Tiny breakfast restaurant, really great food and the amount you get is insane. Go really hungry! The staff are attentive yet busy. The amount of takeout orders that they put out in the short time we were there was amazing ! Great prices.

Never have to worry about having a bad experience when I come here. As a regular, the staff know my name. Service is quick to stay or to go. I enjoy the Corned Beef Hash crispy.

The French toast breakfast sandwich is killer. Staff is friendly. We didn’t really budget our time well and were running a bit late, so the wait seemed a little long, but worth it if you can take your time or call ahead with your order. The food is prepared with care - not thrown together.

I literally go out of my way to eat here. For the first time last week i brought my two year old son and he loved it as well. Fresh food, and cooked to order every single time. A bit busy at times but worth the wait and every dollar spent. Great atmosphere, and community vibe. You get the delicious food experience equivalent to IHOP, and Denny’s all without leaving your neighborhood.

Discovered this little gem while doing a delivery for Uber. I really liked the atmosphere and asked the owner for a menu. Today I ordered for my team at work and it was amazing!! Food was tasty and as advertised.

Been coming here for a few years . But I must admit since the guys stop running it . I rather not even bother . Attitudes always, service sucks. And you can place an order and still wait an hour. Than not to mention they want payment right away but food is never ready. I mean this is the third time this happened and yea I support black owned businesses but this one has really gone down hill.

I always have the grilled Shrimp with home fries and scrabbled egg with cheese, you have to eat here to understand the place, food is always amazing.

Delicious, excellent home fries with peppers and sweet potatoes and peppers, coffee got refilled for free, omelette was large and yummy. Turkey sausage was an option. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only counter service, no tables to sit at. Had to sit on low stools and use paper plates and cups , but reasonable price and good service. .

Tried The Breakfast Spot and had a great experience overall! We ordered online while sitting outside the building, and the wait time was about 15 minutes, which was reasonable. The inside of the restaurant was small but very clean and well-kept—impressive considering the neighborhood. The food was delicious, especially the two dish we ordered. I would definitely order again! The only downside was the potatoes. They came in a large container, which made the portion look smaller than expected, and they were a bit greasy. Other than that, everything was great! Would recommend for a quick, tasty breakfast!

Good Morning, Today was my second visit to the breakfast spot and unfortunately it will be my last. Two weeks ago I ordered fish and grits with eggs. I may have tried it again, it was descent. Today's french toast and pork sausage was inadequate to say the least. I paid eight dollar plus for three slices of white bread and one BarS or equally inferior brand smoked pork sausage. Now keep in mind I started to travel to the South Pearl Coffee Shop, but having recently relocated to the Breakfast Spot area, I decided to patronize my people. With that being said, this is one of the reasons our people do not maintain longevity in the restaurant business; OVER PRICING. I understand its a business and the object is to make money, but the object is also to establish and maintain clientele. Five dollars for three slices of white bread is ludicrous. You can purchase a loaf of bread; a dozen eggs; and a quart of milk for less than $5. As for a three dollar sausage; it could have at least been one of those gigantic Carolina Brand sausages since quality does not seem to be a major factor. Also advising the consumer the sausage is indeed smoked would have been note worthy customer service. I know I am only one customer, but I am a loyal customer so loosing my business will matter. But, hopefully this review will assist in future decisions that better serve the folks who are assisting you in your plight for a successful business.

I placed an order for Chicken and Waffles using door dash at 9:50am. Order still not ready at 10:30am, and wasn't ready until 10:55am. The menu states that the Chicken and Waffles come with 4 wings. Why am I looking at 4 wing pieces and a giant soggy waffle. To make things worse, the bottle of OJ sent was brown. Yes, I received brown orange juice. Honestly if I could give negative 4 stars I would. Overpriced, poor quality food with poor service. Never ordering from here again.

They cook everything on the same grill, they need to clean it after every meal. the bacon egg and cheese tastes like sausage, green peppers & etc . So it may have been the best spot in Albany, but customer service was sucking today. Put a friend and I put in a $40 order that consisted of a breakfast sandwich, A fish and eggs meal a shrimp eggs and potatoes meal and grits. They didn't make a sandwich but made it a meal so no bread and stuck it in with the shrimp which was an allergen for one person ordering ( this could have been a fatal mistake!). No grits! and when we attempted to call back to complain, whom ever picked up the phone didn't speak but sat the phone down and never picked it back up!!! In house everything may be great but deliveries need to be on the same level.

I don’t like to leave one star reviews, but here we are. — Tried to call in an order, phone rang off the hook. Tried to order online, without success— drove to the spot. Sat at the counter to order but didn't get any interaction beyond a blank stare … ignored for 15+ mins before deciding to walk out. The place had maybe 3 people in there before we walked in, there’s no good reason we couldn’t have been greeted or acknowledged. There’s lots of great breakfast spots in the area, with outstanding food and service. I will not be back and I would not recommend wasting time trying to give them a try.

The restaurant says it is open at 9 AM on Sundays. We arrived at 9 AM and waited outside for 10 minutes. At 9:10 we caught the attention of the worker inside and asked if they were open, she simply shook her head no. I tried calling to see when they were opening and no one answered even though we could see 2 workers inside.

I accidentally placed an online order to the wrong location (I’m in PA) & they gave my order to someone without confirmation. I understand I made a mistake ordering from the wrong location, but the female manager of this location LIED and said they don’t have a website to order from, they do. It’s processed through doordash, but for order assistance they tell you to call the store. It is not my responsibility to check the receipt/order confirmation before handing out an order. That’s why they give you an order confirmation. Ya’ll must have had the order ticket on the bag & someone read it and got my food. Or you handed out the wrong order. I am in PENNSYLVANIA & the manager refuses to process a refund. This is horrendous customer service. I’m truly embarrassed to have made this mistake & TRUST me I will tell everyone I know to AVOID this breakfast spot at all costs. Horrible customer service & the food looks mid compared to the Pittsburgh location. I’m embarrassed for yins, truly. PS IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. CHECK THEIR FACEBOOK.

With the reviews being so high, I decided to order from here. I ordered a “Hangover Omelette” however what was sent to me was nothing like an omelette. Ingredients were missing & the ingredients included were placed into the container in layers instead of omelette form. Pictures are attached. Would not order again.
