Beautiful place! We met Chef Josh, who explained most of our dishes to us! Very knowledgeable, very nice. The service was so very helpful & professional! The food itself took you on a journey. It was definitely a journey worth taking!! I recommend a visit if you're in the area. Wow!
I had a great weekday lunch at Bar Pasquale. Our server was attentive and paced the courses perfectly. My favorite dish was the summer parfait (beans and labneh). It was beautifully plated and was a perfect starter on a hot summer day. I also enjoyed the Classica pizza and rigatoni alla vodka. I’m excited to go back for the full menu during dinner service.
Restaurant Bar Pasquale in NYC is a true culinary gem that pleasantly surprised me with its exceptional offerings. As the sister restaurant to Pasquale Jones next door, I must admit that I found the food at Bar Pasquale to be even better. The classy and upscale vibe of the restaurant added to the overall dining experience, creating an ambiance that elevated the meal. The pasta and pizza at Bar Pasquale were standouts. The square-style pizza, with its unique crust and abundance of flavor, won me over in its own delightful way. The pasta was the true star, surpassing even its neighboring restaurant. Each dish was expertly prepared, leaving me wanting more with every bite. The drinks at Bar Pasquale were also on point. The combination of the pizza with burrata and the vodka sauce was a match made in culinary heaven. The flavors were harmonious and truly amazing. While the shrimp appetizer was good, it didn’t quite match the excellence of the pasta and pizza. Nonetheless, it didn’t detract from the overall dining experience, which was superb. In summary, Bar Pasquale in NYC is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a classy and upscale dining experience with exceptional pasta and pizza. If you’re looking for a memorable culinary adventure, this restaurant will not disappoint.
I went to Bar Pasquale on the second night of service and enjoyed everything about it. The interior is beautifully designed–a really well done mix between welcoming, warm, and modern and old-school NYC Italian. I dined alone at the bar and the staff was sweet and knowledgeable. The true highlight, however was the food! I started with the heirloom tomato and strawberry salad which is one of the best things I have eaten at a NYC restaurant in a while. Being Sicilian, I was also a huge fan of the pizza. The crust has the perfect thickness and is amazingly crispy at the bottom. My mom would approve. I also had the cannoli for dessert and the ricotta filling tasted just like at my nonna's house. Overall: highly recommend.
Loved every aspect of our dinner at Bar Pasquale. We were able to get a last minute reservation on an early Saturday evening. We were greeted and seated quickly and our server was attentive and personable. Our first course was the carciofi fritte and it was light and a great start. We then tried the prosciutto pizza and it was one of the best bites I've ever had! The servings are smaller, but great to share a few options. For our third course we ordered the culurgiones and were blown away by the taste! Incredible and included a good portion of lobster. We ended the night with a canoli and the tiramisu. Highly recommend! Great place!
Had a really nice time on Bar Pasquale’s opening night! A great after-work happy hour spot with a solid selection of food & drinks, highly recommend the market cocktails. Excited to come back to try more of the pizzas!
The food is absolutely delicious. My husband and I truly appreciated the dedication and hospitality of the staff.

We LOVED our evening at Bar Pasquale. We were a large group (9) and felt well accommodated and thoughtfully cared for the entire evening. The wine selections from the Sommelier (Maggie) were spectacular and went well with our multiple courses. Each course was different and exciting, bright salads, pizza, pasta and desserts. The Cocktail lounge with live music was also a delightful end to the evening.
Our dining experience yesterday was truly exceptional. The food was not only delicious but also exquisitely prepared. The chef skill and attention were evident in every dish, making it clear that we were in the hands of a true culinary master. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable experience that we won’t soon forget! Thank you
Had a delicious meal outdoors tonight. Our server, Alex, was very informed and thoughtful. The kitchen was outstanding with regards to awareness of gluten and sugar as I have celiac and diabetes. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We loved the Brussels sprouts, eggplant, escarole salad, cauliflower (wow), and red snapper( super amazing). Highly recommend.
It was a lovely meal with my workmate and her significant other. The food was perfection and the service was superb. I really enjoyed myself and after awhile I didn't even notice the noise level. All-in-all quite a perfect evening. The food was so tempting I even forgot to take pictures. Smh 🤫

The food was OK but for the price it did not deliver. For a $14+ slice I’d expect something really special… which this is not. My friend had pasta which is much more reasonably priced than the pizza and better quality. The outside ambiance is lovely and would absolutely recommend a cocktail. Perhaps at some point they will consider lowering the prices.

Skip it. Bar Pasquale neither lives up to, nor compliments its next-door parent - in any way. The service is not just aloof, but unwelcoming, slow and chaotic. Interiors are a snooze to the point that they must have either ran out time, or money. The appetizers are fine, but the $18 “pizzas” are meager slices of focaccia with the notion that maybe a piece of meat touched them once - with a dollop of melted cheese. $18. Really disappointing - overall.
Maybe the wines are OK, but the cocktails are too expensive to taste that bad. Music too loud and doesn't match the vibes of the place.

The pizza was good, but everything else on the menu I thought was rather expensive for somewhat small portions. Agree with others - the food quality was average. The drinks were terribly sweet. Not planning to go back. But fantastic music playlist in the background!
Pizza was tasty but the rest of the menu needs a bit of work. We ordered several items to sample a range from the kitchen. The tomato/strawberry salad and artichoke appetizers did not have a lot of flavor and were not memorable dishes. The texture of the CULURGIONES stuffed pasta was very mushy, sort of felt like eating mashed potato with mint wrapped in a wet noodle. Not the best in terms of flavor or texture. Service was accommodating and pleasant
Decent appetizers, but tiny mains small in both size and flavor. Hostess (or was it the manager? unclear since no one introduced themselves) spent all evening focusing on table with her friends and eating off their plates while fondling the nearby houseplant. The interiors are… fine. So I guess a good place for a quick drink and nosh with a date before heading elsewhere. But otherwise, neither a destination nor a neighborhood retreat. Deeply disappointing as Pasquale Jones is 👌🏽. They need to work on their menu and service. Cause otherwise these prices, in this economy? Nah.

Every dish we ordered, including pizza was bad ! The pizza was thick bread with a layer of tomato sauce, some cheese and dried basil on top. Every dish was very salty. Have never had such bad Italian food.
Skip it! Regardless if you have a reservation with an old friend we had not seen in years, they will rush your stay to get you in and out. We spent more than $250 for mediocre food and small portions. They grabbed our drinks before we were even finished (you could clearly see it was not empty) or asking us if we were done and then even would come back to ask if we wanted another shortly after. Haha. They make you order everything at once so you don’t even feel comfortable adding more dishes or asking for more even if you wanted or were still hungry. You can’t do apps while you still decide on mains. The lobster pasta felt fresh but almost uncooked. Octopus was a tiny portion and save the pizza for one of the amazing other spots in the city. After a week in NYC, this was sadly our last dinner and did not leave a good taste compared to the rest of our dinners. Do not recommend.
We had a horrible experience with the manager and host. We had a simple request to sit 13 guests next to each other in a mostly empty restaurant with a reservation made over a week in advance. They went out of their way to make sure we couldn’t sit together based on supposed “rules.” Literally the restaurant was more than half empty and they went out of their way to sit two tops in the middle of places that we could have sat comfortably. They lied after a long conversation, I left and came back with the impression they would be able to accommodate us comfortably. When I came back with our entire party they had sat us at completely different tables. I would never eat here again. They lacked very basic customer service. What a shame.
