Best tacos in the neighborhood + lovely people running the place. Photo: from left to right… shrimp, carnitas, fried fish, chicken. Shrimp and carnitas were superb. Fried fish was also fantastic and had pickled cabbage that was super tasty. Chicken was good but not my favorite of the options. Also, that guacamole on the tacos came standard without an up charge. 😍

Tried this place for the first time and loved it! I got three tacos, Pollo, carne asada and diablito. They were good but diablito was GREAT, the flavor & spice was perfect! Next time I'm getting three of those. The service was great too, polite and fast. Took 6min to get my order. I'm DEFINITELY coming back

The tacos were delicious! I had al pastor & pescado- I have been trying to find authentic fish tacos. The service was good, the food was fresh and came out quickly, and the salsas and fresh nachos were delicious. The jamaica was really good too! I also loved the vibe as soon as I walked in- the loteria theme was such a nice touch! I think i found my new spot.

I cannot thank the team here enough. My job was throwing a Taco party and I immediately recommended this place. Food tastes always fresh/good, people are very friendly and they are quick. If you are in the mood for good Mexican food, skip the other places and go here.

I bring my kids in here to eat and they treat us like family. They make delicious coffee in addition to super fresh and flavorful Mexican home cooking. So lucky to have this wonderful restaurant in our neighborhood.

The staff was very kind and the food was incredible. The carnitas tacos were some of the best we've ever had in NYC - way better than the other places in the neighborhood. I loved that they crisp the meat and add guacamole too.The quesadillas and burritos were also delicious and affordable and I can't wait to try more things on their menu. I should have come here sooner.

Best tacos I’ve ever had in New York (Brooklyn)

I've eaten here twice. Both times every scrap of food I've tasted was delightful. This place has a lovely decor made from images from a popular Mexican card game. The effect is energetic, enlivening. The layout is more kitchen - heavy. There is outside seating, and five spacious tables inside. Service is always great, but if Cadolina is taking care of you, you will experience bliss. She is passionate about making customers happy.

BEST TACOS IN DITMAS PARK. Plus Tarot card paintings? It’s a chill, cool atmosphere. Awesome prices (I got 3 tacos for $10). The service is also stellar - our waitress was so sweet. They’re new to the neighborhood but had automatically become our New Mexican go-to spot.

I love this place right on Newkirk Plaza. I've gotten a variety of tacos there (diablito, cecina, carne enchilada, and chicken) which are all great. The seafood there is also really good. The only thing I've had that kind of sucked was the vegetarian burrito delivery. The burritos are huge but sort of flavorless and the delivery order didn't have any salsa with it. That was definitely only kind of bad thing.

The food and service are awesome. Will definitely be going back. My husband ordered the la lengua taco, off the menu, and it was perfect. Not too tender, just the way we like it. I hope they put it on the main meun so I can order it for delivery. Everything was well seasoned and good portion side

I am a midwood native and have been hoping for a good Mexican restaurant in the area for so long. I have to say this is absolutely the new spot. I haven’t gotten to try it since it was opened. However, I needed a good meal after work and ordered to go. The staff was exceptionally kind andthe food was ready very quickly. The true test is the taste. I got the Carnitas burrito bowl, it traveled well and was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfect, and even included a good scoop of guacamole. These guys know what they’re doing. Highly recommend.

Wanted to try it for a while and very glad that I did. Crisply clean dining area with friendly, not pushy staff. The al pastor with black beans and Mexican rice was great. Great service and good value too! Will go back and bring friends.

The steak tacos were rancid - i tried to get a refund from the restaraunt and explain what was wrong but they said nothing was wrong with it. If thats their standard just be careful not to order the steak tacos

They replace the tacos and put the cheese on the side I have no idea why.Then go on to take the sauces in the bag I brought back and requested the first time! out of the bag. As if the sauce was the issues. I spent all this time getting food I didn’t eat REPLACED! for you to go out of your way to mess up the order again anyway. Fine I’ll leave your business ALONE!
