Best fries and burger in town very blessed to have this spot so local to me
It’s always so damn good. Don’t judge a takeaway. Off the grill, these are better than just about any burger in NYC. Keep it up Bai.
The burger was absolutely amazing juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right with fresh toppings that took it to the next level. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Had a vet appointment in the area with my Mom and Godmother and decided to try BHAI for the first time. The service was surprisingly refreshing — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the start. The food was just as impressive! Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’ll be recommending BHAI to others looking for a great spot to grab some delicious food if they’re in the area.
Seeing some of these negative reviews makes me laugh. I’ve eaten at Burger Bhai more times than I can count, and the food NEVER misses. Some people just can’t handle greatness. Ignore the noise. Burger Bhai is the real deal. The quality, the taste, and the service all speak for themselves. The one-star haters clearly have no clue what good food actually is.
Where should I begin? Well the location.. one word. (Feng shui) it’s lively but calm. The service is top notch. Usman was our server and he was very attentive. The food was on a completely different level. Not greasy, not too salty. The bread was just right. The Masala fries are what Cajun fries should taste like. Definitely recommending to all my close friends.
Worth it. Great smash burger and loved the masala fries. Sauces were great, and the ‘ketchup’ was spicy so heads up. Sat outside in a breezy June evening (‘dine in’ is basically two tables with two seats each so if you bring a big group, plan ahead). No line. Took maybe 5 min from order to eating. Saw several delivery guys come and go, so happy to see they had business (it is a Sun night which is probably slower anyway). I had read prior reviews, and knew I wanted to try something I could only get in NYC. The sauce quantity was more than previous people complained about (so seems like they listened to the feedback!). Burger was fresh. Would definitely recommend for someone wanting a burger and something special.
The food is great, I tried a chicken tikka burger and fries it tasted remarkable people working there are very friendly, their service, and atmosphere is good too except the tikka burger takes about 20 minutes to get ready apart from that they also have this wonderful Pakistani-themed decor of rickshaw and trucks.
Bhai kha burger is great, chicken tikka and smashburger are also good. Good bun, good cheese, meat is juicy not overcooked. Might be my new favorite fries in the neighborhood, comes with ketchup spiced with chaat masala(?) which makes them even better. I’ve only ordered ahead for pickup so far, interested in trying the rose limeade and milkshakes. A very welcome addition to late night food options on Cortelyou.
I've been here a few times, and I absolutely love this place. Open late and some of the best tasting burgers in the neighborhood! Incredible service as well. Very friendly atmosphere and fast. Highly recommend the Bhai Ka buger as well as the classic smash with a double patty. Always cooked to perfection 👌🏽.
We were able to chat with Harris the owner and he was super enthusiastic about the place. He talked about designing the menu to be clearer and adding more options too! Harris also gave us Burger Bhai shirts that are super cool! The classic smash burger was super juicy and flavorful, it had a lingering feeling of a tiny bit of spice. Would come here again!
A good burger joint on cortelyou and coney island ave. The service was quick. The burgers were great with their semi spicy sauce. The price was good for the fries and burgers.
I ordered three burgers from Burger Bhai two of their signature burgers and one chapli burger. The taste was absolutely amazing juicy, flavorful, and freshly made. The staff was super friendly and polite, which made the whole experience enjoyable. However, the serving size didn’t quite match the price. For what they charge, I expected slightly bigger portions or more value for money. Still, if you’re looking for great taste and good service, Burger Bhai is definitely worth a try!
The food here is great. The burgers are juicy, and the milkshake is delicious and real, not from a machine or prepackaged. Everything here is great, and they're open late, so if you're in the neighborhood and hungry, this place is the spot. Heads up, there's no place to sit indoors, but they do have chairs and tables outside. In the summer, it's a nice place to hang out outside, but in the winter, take it to go.
Burger Bhai is a unique Pakistani fast food spot that serves burgers, fries, and shakes with a delicious Desi twist. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, offering a great mix of traditional and modern tastes. However, the lack of indoor seating is a downside, especially in winter. While they have outdoor chairs available, it’s not practical to eat outside during colder months, leaving takeaway as the only option. If they could add an indoor dining space, it would make the experience even better. Overall, the food is great, but the seating arrangements could use improvement.
The burgers are really good. Small but cheaper than anywhere else. You can order extra patties if you need a bigger burger. The masala fries were good too, a bit spicy. They are smash burgers so they are well done and crispy. My only problem was the sauce. It's good but I paid 1.50 each which is more than anywhere else and they fill the little cup less than 1/4. The last time I got like a tiny half of a squirt. Enough for 1 fry, for reaI. I thought it was a fluke so I didn't complain. But this time it was the same. Your sauce is good, please give us a normal amount. Especially for the price. Anyone else would give free cool sauce with spicy fries at least.
Definitely a cute little joint. Service was good but I was the only order at the time, so as much was expected. Their masala fries were seasoned very, very well, would go back just for those. However, $13 for their ‘bhai burger’ to find the meat to be dry, as thin as a smashburger, and to be layered with half a cut up romaine lettuce, was a huge disappointment. I had much higher expectations for a single burger costing a whole meal. Their aloo burger was good but average. Unsure if I’ll be going back
I came across this interesting burger joint on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try. The reviews looked solid on both Google Maps and Uber Eats, so I felt confident placing an order. I went for the Chapli Kebab Burger, but I’m pretty sure they sent me a Chicken Tikka Burger instead. I didn’t complain and just went with it, though I was disappointed — I’d really wanted to try the Chapli Kebab. That said, the burger I received wasn’t bad. The chicken tikka was nicely spiced, marinated, and char-grilled, though the overall presentation was underwhelming. The burger was quite small for the price, and the buns felt cheap — plain, unbuttered, and not even toasted, almost like grocery-store quality. The lettuce was the saving grace: crisp and fresh, which even many established burger places sometimes miss. I had asked for no cheese, and they followed that perfectly. I added masala fries on the side, which had good flavor thanks to the seasoning, but they were completely cold — not even slightly warm — which was disappointing and made it clear they weren’t freshly prepared. I ordered water instead of soda, though it seems they may have some Indian-style drinks available too. Overall, I’d say the experience was mixed. The flavors were genuinely good, with the Indian spice touch setting it apart from typical fast-food burgers, but the portion size and quality for the price were lacking. If they fix the basics — like serving hot fries, toasting the buns, and paying more attention to freshness — this place could easily stand out among other casual burger spots.
I was happy to find out about the halal pakistani burger spot:Burger bhai. It was on my go-to list, and finally, I got a chance to try it while I was in the area. It's a takeout joint with some seating available on sidewalk (a charpai (traditional pakistani bed) and 2 tables with 2 chairs each. They have nice overall truck wall art and pakistani folk articrafts (rickshaw etc) on display. They do have a self order option. We ordered around 11.15am (they opened around 11am) and we had to wait for around 40mins to get our order. There were 2 customers ahead of us. We ordered: Masala fries Bhai ka burger Classic smash Bogo smash (without realizing bogo smash is same as classic smash, you just get 2 of them - smh) Chapli burger (didn't know it's chicken chapli) Chick a Tikka burger Aloo Tikki burger Rose shikanjavi Mango shake Bhai sauce Mint sauce Totaling up to $95 and change. So price wise, they are on the cheaper side as compared to what we pay in Queens. We loved their bhai ka burger, most flavorful and well done. Masala fries were super fresh with well coated delicious masala. Our least favorite was smash burgers. The patty was overly Smashed, making it burnt crispy. If you want good variety smash burgers, go to HITIT. Chick a Tikka was our 2nd favorite. You get 5 to 6 Boneless Tikka pcs in a burger with the toppings of your choice. On 3rd, alo Tikki, it was good but not as good as Bun Kebab's (a halal bun kebab cart). 4th or 2nd least liked one was chicken chapli, it's a simple chicken patty, not a chapli at all. So, I would recommend getting a bhai ka burger with Masala fries (the best combo). As for drinks, rose lemonade is very toned down rohafza lemonade, we liked it because it was not that sweet, and you can taste real lemon. But sadly, the Mango shake was missing Mango flavor and was tasting like grinded vanilla ice cream. Bhai sauce and mint sauce were okay, we ordered 2, but they also gave some bhai sauce packs with fries. Mint sauce felt more like mayo based. Nothing crazy but a decent halal burger spot. It would be much fun in summer to enjoy a burger on a charpai. I would highly recommend/suggest the team revise their chapli recipe to make it more authentic. I will definitely stop by again to grab #bhaikaburger when we are in the area. We were laughing at a thought that they were well aware of what they made best, and they named that burger: bhai ka burger!
OWNER PLEASE READ The food here is GREAT but they need better staff, or better training for the staff. There is a woman who refuses to try to communicate (she doesn't speak English but like. We could use Google translate or something! But she just. Won't try) and I think because of that she WILL NOT answer the phone for a pickup order. Either the phone rings and rings, or she picks up and hangs up on you. I called from a few feet away and witnessed this happening, so I know it's ringing. I tried placing an order through the website, but it says they're not open yet (which is not true). Also, even if it were working, the wraps are not listed(see below), so I can't order it regardless. So I'm stuck going in person and then waiting 10-15 minutes in the freezing cold. The food is good!! I'm just leaving this review so maybe the owner will see it and correct this behavior?? It's truly baffling. They must be losing business over this. And these wraps.... They have new-ish breakfast wraps (available all day?? Hard to know) but they're not listed on the website or in any pictures I can see here. Might want to update that!! They're really good!!! Though, they have cheese, so they should mention that on the menu (the kiosk one where you place the order). (I mention because the item description lists ingredients but not cheese) Anyway I would not leave a one star review except that this is an ongoing problem which really needs to be addressed
