Stopped by to pick up lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how good the Banh Mi is here. Haven't tried the Pho yet but it smelled amazing. Easily one of the best I've ever had though.
It's not the kind of place you can have a big group of people eat, it's a pickup spot. The banh mi sandwiches are really fantastic. Service is quick, efficient, and to the point. I always bring people here to impress them and it never disappoint.
This spot earns positive feedback. We truly enjoyed every single bite here. Staff showed remarkable attention to needs. The kitchen creates what I consider remarkable dishes. In summary, service was good and I want to come back.
My order here is the original banh mi with jalapeno, and a side of pho broth. The sandwich and broth are delicious separately, but dipping the sandwich in the broth is incredible. It's like a Vietnamese French dip. I don't go often but today I got this when they first opened and it was absolutely perfect. The broth is extremely rich, silky and flavorful. Also piping hot. The sandwich is balanced, crunchy, bright, spicy. Don't miss this place.
Had friends from out of town so we picked a random spot! Our first time having pho—it was delicious and ready in no time. Limited seating but that’s NY for you, lol and they provide what they can! The guy at the register was even nice enough to take our picture. Hiding our faces for privacy but you can sure bet we’re smiling! Thanks for the great food and the great memory :)
A Hidden Gem ! Nice place to go if you crave for Vietnamese food. The pho broth is very flavourful. We tried their ice Thai tea too , surprisingly it’s taste so good. Very crowded around lunch time, so don’t expect to get a seat. Quick service so don’t worry even there’s a long queue.
We found this place on accident while we are on another trip but I was glad to have made this stop and tried the food. I thought the pho tasted great. It was a nice hole in the wall place, simple with bar type seating but it was perfect to my liking. The broth is tasty, serving is generous. Wish there were more meat selections as to type of beef etc. but it is a very minimal issue and I think this is still one of the best pho places I have tried.
We were craving for a bowl of hot soup after the cold and windy ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Since we next destination is the 9/11 memorial, we took line 5 from Bowling Green to Fulton and vietspot is just a stone throw away from there. Food are served very quickly. There are not a lot of seats and the place does get busy during lunch hour (12-1?) but people eat quick so we found ourselves a place to enjoy our delicious meals by the window. Watching New Yorkers passing by while enjoying our meals as a tourist is a wonderful experience. Be sure to check this out if you are in the area and need some hot food to warm up your belly.
The food was really good and flavorful. Good portion for a reasonable price :) Each meal is around 10-20 bucks, so be prepared when you do come. 2nd time coming I went to eat there & their pho was huge they were generous with the noodles and the beef in the pho if your a big eater this is perfect for you! I also reccomend getting the chicken bahn mi! $14.25 for beef pho. Best to share with someone haha
I regularly come to this place, their Banh Mi is great, the bread is crispy and warm and it’s packed with coriander and carrots. The tofu (if you get this option) is deliciously smoky, peppery and soft. Not many seatings inside and it’s very small, I always get it to go. It’s a strong option if you’re in a rush or working/studying in the neighbourhood. Service is always nice and quick!
Price is good, Service is good, the place is clean. Pho has a lot of meat, and the meat quality is good, acceptable size of noodle, but the soup is coming from instant noodles base (2 Star) (Very Disappointing). Pork Dumplings (1 star) Bad. Summer Roll Acceptable (3 Star) Smoothly is good.
A hole in a wall but the food was authentic and delicious. Don’t expect spacious seating or five star service here. This is the place for a quick bite so you can go back to do what you do the busy NYC. Surprisingly the food was very good. Especially their sandwiches were super delicious and come with a good price! They will only serve take outs 20 minutes before closing so be aware of that.
This is not an easy to spot restaurant. We happened to remember this place while we were craving for Vietnamese food. It is small with limited seating so we ordered takeout. The chicken was a little tough, pork chop was delicious although the meat without bone was a little tough. Tofu was good too, we added mushrooms to it, they didn’t say but we believe they charge 3 extra dollars for the mushrooms. The rice and veggies in general are good. We like their fish sauce. Overall it’s a decent place, and we may try their noodle soup next time
Small and cozy interior. Got the pho with spicy beef broth and pork chops. Broth was unfortunately lacking in flavor and seemed quite oily. I added sauces to fix it and it didn’t help much but the pork chops were delicious! I don’t think I’d come back for the pho but willing to try other items on the menu
Vietnamese-American person who has been eating Pho all my life. The pho here is not great. Excessive vegetables, soup lacks flavor pho flavor and portion (takeout) is very small. Their Vietnamese coffee was mid. The service was really bad. They don’t provide any takeout utensils. No straws for the coffee, no chopsticks, fork, spoon, or napkins for the food. I was a walk-in, so it’s not like I needed to check any boxes for utensils. Not to mention there isn’t any staffers ready to take orders during lunch time at the front. You need to ring a bell, or hope to catch a person walking between kitchen and register area. Would not recommend.Vietnamese-American person who has been eating Pho all my life. This is no Pho. If you been to Vietnam or anywherr with good pho. The grilled chicken that they place to the side is old and its not even chicken. Chinese aren't vietnamese. Only people who don't know the difference would not notice the unauthentic version of this place.
