I've been to this location a few times. It's pretty well kept its clean and the service is great. The ladies that work the morning shift are really nice.

Ate here earlier today. My dad and I had a weekly lunch date at Arbys but they wont even let you order at counter to take out. What a joy to eat a sit in lunch with my 92 year old #ad. They were the perfect blend of aware of covid and practical but not fearful or paranoid. Cashiers were awesome friendly and my Western bacon cheeseburger was so nice after a year. This is the only Carl’s Jr. I come to. This location always has the best customer service, they serve the hottest food, and they keep the restaurant clean. The bacon western cheeseburger is my favorite burger and it tastes good every time.

I came to visit again tonight 4/06/25 this Carl's Jr in Aliso Viejo and once again the place was very clean and to top it off today I got to experience Luis the cashier in onother level of customer service. He was good to me, very friendly, but most of all I saw Him to be very tentive to his other customers. He cares to make the customers feel comfortable and to be able to feel at home while they wait for their food. He goes out of his way to makesure that they are taken care of while they are dinning at the restaurant. It's nice to see an employee in this case Luis how he loves his job! People like him should be acknowledged so that they can continue to make the business better. Luis is a good example to follow to put as example on how to give exelent customer service. The food is good and the people are friendly. The only issue is that the orders are often wrong or missing something. They just seem a bit overwhelming and maybe understaffed.

First off I just want to say it's Carl's jr. I like their food their hamburgers are great they have the best chicken tenders. This is not my normal Carl's Junior but it happens to be on our way home from my nephew's work so we stop there every now and then just this past week though they did leave something out of my order so by time I went home and then drove back I was a little upset however their manager made good on my order and went Way Beyond. He's not only make sure that I got my complete order he remade my hamburgers that were cold and also credit me for my order because of their good service they have me as a loyal customer. Good customer service and good food way to go Carl's Junior love you guys

I still believe that the Carl's Jr original 6 dollar burger is one of the best burger deals available. With a coupon they are 2 for $6. Ask for jalapenos if you like spicy and they will add them no charge. I would give them 5 stars but the service is not so great and every table in the restaurant was dirty. Understaffed. Burgers are great!

The food was very good. I came in for a salad. I asked the man behind the counter what kind of lettuce was in the salad. He said it was Romain. I like Romain lettuce, so I ordered it. When it was delivered to my table, the lettuce turned out to be Iceberg lettuce, which research shows to be the worst quality lettuce on the market. I returned it and was offered anything on the menu in exchange. I was well taken of for the rest of my meal. I will go there again.

The drive through voice is automated which weirded me out a lot, then I waited about 5 minutes at the window before someone came over to charge me. Then they forgot my sauce.

Carl's is my usual burger and chicken sandwich go to place I ordered a chicken sandwich and got up to the window and they insist on cash. I thought that rather weird. Then she said the system was down they couldn't take cards and I said well what happens if I can't pay for my sandwich i hope mgmt will step in. She just shrugged and continued to help other people in the Drive-Thru, but at least she told them ahead of time that it was cash only. I would have hoped that they would have comped the difference. :/ luckily I was able to dig through the cup holders and my ourse bottom, used every penny I had to finish paying for my sandwich. Not a great experience.

this is a two part review. staff then food. Staff is amazing and I love how they respect the place/work environment. The restaurant was very clean, organized and showed their pride in what they do and how they go about it. It is the main reason I went here. (they deserve 5 stars) Food, here is where it gets only a one star. This chain has really lost it way since the founders passed. I worked for them as a kid and know the integrity and quality of what they were putting out. The burger with guac was so fatty and disgusting. It was only after a few bites that I remembered why I stopped coming to Carl's. Lesson learned. To the staff, thank you for such a clean welcoming place. To Carl's Corp. please consider the founders in your next step to regain public trust.

I'm just posting so those in charge know the AI ordering system got dumber. I ordered the same thing everyday time and this time the AI was not doing well.

I ordered online to pick up in the restaurant. When I sat down with my toddler so we could eat, I realized they gave me the wrong burger. I ordered a California burger and they gave me the jalapeño burger. I was alone with my child so I did not want to bother getting up to ask them to provide me with the correct burger so I just ate it. It was not the burger I would have chosen. The staff was kind and I’m sure they would have helped had I asked but in was not in the situation to ask for help.

Stopped by the drive-thru for a breakfast burrito. They forgot to give me a straw for my beverage. I parked and went in to ask the cashier. The music in the kitchen was SO LOUD, I couldn't call out to get her attention. Fortunately I found straws in the lobby. I don't know how walk-in customers would get her attention to place an order. I get it. I've listened to music while doing food service. But the volume in their kitchen is usually reserved for after closing time.

It seems like Carl's has a lot of hype and pretty pictures of their food, in reality the quality of the food has diminished quite a bit and continues to be subpar. Especially for the price. I used to love their western bacon cheeseburgers but now it's just a cold Patty with some barbecue sauce lightly spread on the bun. The onion rings that come on the burger are probably the best part, which is a shame.

One person on break who had to yell for someone in the back after I'd been waiting for about 2-3 minutes at the counter...I ordered 2 Chicken sandwiches...one was sitting in a tray most likely sitting there for awhile...the other made fresh...one of my kids will have an old sandwich while the other a fresh on...The "shiftleader" didn't even greet me...just "you ready

They always forget items in your order and take longer than usual

Had a very bad experience here. The order was wrong, missing items, even checking the order at home, the items we did receive were not correct. One prime rib burger was completely without any prime rib. We asked and paid for for extra cheese and could barely even see the cheese, and the fries were less than half full. Worst experience I've ever had at Carl's Jr.

A good burger place and recently renovated with nice seating and stylish look. A little disappointed with the new set that they removed the TVs showing live sports or news that people can enjoy. Last week and now the Veggie burger that has just bread with lettuce, tomato and onions with sauce now costs 2.49 + tax. Used to be $1.30 . What a ripoff and the order taking personal was so rude. Never going again.

Went through the drive through, was told to park out front and wait for our food. 15 minutes later we went inside to see what was going on. They hadn’t even started our food. The restaurant wasn’t busy, they were pitifully understaffed. The girl who took our drive through order left while we were parked out front. I will never return to this joke of a Carl’s. I don’t write many reviews but I have to say that this is the worst Carl’s Jr. I’ve been to as far as service goes. I came through the drive thru tonight with a coupon for a buy one famous star, get one for a dollar. I told the woman at the speaker that I had a coupon for that. As soon as I got to the window, I handed her my coupon…so it should be clear what I had ordered. She then comes back and says, “You didn’t order the meal?” I said no, I just want the two famous stars. Then a man comes to the window, who’d I guess is the manager, and asks me if I want western bacon cheeseburgers?? I said no, I just want the two famous stars on the coupon. After a minute he says “Ok that will be $18.25 or something. I told him this is ridiculous and just left without paying, which is the first time I have ever done that at any fast food place. I’ll make sure to avoid this location in the future.

Definitely the worst location. Theyre running such a tight skeleton crew, theres one man in the front trying to take orders / serve orders provide condiments at the same time, doing none of them particularly well since the man has only two hands for 3 jobs. I get a double famous star, they hand me a double western, its a mess. Is it like this just today? Naw, they ALWAYS are like this. I work down the street and come by like 4 times a year everytime i forget the service is like this. And the char on the patties are ripped through so fast, im not even sure theyve gone near a grill. I love Carl’s Jr. but this one has to be the absolute worst! Orders are ALWAYS incorrect I have paid for items I didn’t receive and when I call the answer is come back. Like I am home now I am not coming back out that’s an inconvenience! I went two nights ago and ordered a shake when the lady handed me my shake it looked extremely runny like it had been sitting around awhile and no whip I told her never mind and she said it comes with no whip and that’s how it “looks” she says “it’s milk and chocolate” so she proceeded to make ANOTHER ONE AND ROUND TWO WAS WORSE! I posted a photo! Literally it came partially full! And then tonight I decided to go back for my kids and we ordered 4 big hamburgers 2 with nothing but ketchup (simple) we’ll ALL came with just ketchup! AI is awful, Lupita lied to me stating the AI can't be turned off and then yelled for the manager, instead of walking over to him and talking to him. The AI has many Amazing benefits unfortunately customer service isn’t one of them. You can’t replace human interaction or common courtesy a robot can’t give you that. My visits to Carl’s Jr. are going to end if the AI continues

Ad I pull into the drive through I am immediately shocked. Every combo is about $20. I decided to go ahead and order anyway. As I am looking through the menu I am repeated harassed by the voice taking my order. It is not a person, but a bot. I tell it to please wait, but it insists I order. Jeez at least a person gives me time to look at the menu. So I order and my food gets there surprisingly quickly considering not a single other person is there and it appears as though only one woman is working. The food was ok. Nothing special. Typical fast food, but my drink was wrong. I ordered a dr pepper. Got a coke. For those prices, which are high even for the area, you need to get it right. Oh well. Never again. Never again.

I came in to pick up a DoorDash order. The restaurant was empty. A male employee at the counter asked for the pickup name — I clearly and loudly gave him the name, and he heard me. I then stepped to the soda fountain to fill my water bottle and came back to the counter. The order was already ready, but instead of handing it to me, he was standing with his back turned, watching football on his phone in a very demonstrative way. When he finally turned around, instead of giving me the order, he started lecturing and scolding me about how I was “supposed” to greet him and show the order from my phone — even though I had already given him the name clearly when he asked. I was forced to stand there and listen to this for several minutes. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I consider this behavior harassment directed at me, and I am formally documenting this incident. After finishing his lecture, he again turned his back and kept me waiting several more minutes before finally handing me the order. This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and intimidating. Management needs to address this immediately.
