This was my very first time having Indian food, and I’m so happy that this place was recommended by a friend. The food was so good, I mean really good. So good I want to try everything in the menu. I got the butter masala protein, salmon and garlic naan and rice. I definitely give this place 10/10

I was in the area for a conference, and I brought my colleagues here to eat lunch. Their lunch special was delicious. My colleagues had never tried Indian food before and they all really enjoyed their dishes. One of them had the Kadai chicken. One of them had the lamb curry and one of them had the biryani. I ate the seekh kabab. The servers were great, and the inside of the restaurant is very Welcoming and decorated nicely.

Truly enjoyed this establishment. Have yet to have Indian food since being in Dallas and so glad I stumbled across this place. Had really great service and pretty wide selection of appetizers, main dishes, and cocktails. My favorite appetizer was Gobi 65. We also tried coconut masala and the lamb biryani. Both were excellent and had the perfect level of spice. I would definitely come back!

Amazing and delicious, mouthwatering food! The desserts were fabulous and I had a pomegranate mojito (non alcoholic) and it was beyond amazing. The whole building is beautifully decorated too!

Fresh food made to order, you can choose spicy or mild and I love that. Bhavya was the best server, she also explained to us great options we might like on the menu. Located in a very popular location at waters creek village.

My experience here was top tier. I ordered the Korma Curry. You must indicate the spice level. I had mid. It was delicious 😋 Service- Our waiter's name is Sagan! His service is top-notch. We had a large group and he managed all the orders and service excellently.

Shiva’s Indian Restaurant is my absolute favorite spot in North Dallas! Their Butter Masala is incredible — both the chicken and veggie versions are packed with rich flavors. The Coconut Chicken is also fantastic. The first time I tried their Butter Chicken, I honestly felt like I was in heaven! Their fresh, hot naan breads are amazing, especially the garlic naan. My personal favorite is the Butter Masala paired with garlic naan. I even celebrated my birthday there, and it was wonderful! The only thing to note is that the restaurant was a little cold inside — but that’s totally understandable because it was busy and they needed to keep the place cool. If you’re sensitive to cold, I’d recommend bringing an extra layer just in case. As an Iranian who sometimes gets tired of the same old dishes, I can say Shiva’s is such a refreshing change! They offer so many options — from curry-style dishes to grilled kabob-style plates — so there’s something for everyone. It feels a bit like a more flavorful twist on Persian food, perfect for when you want something familiar yet exciting and full of bold flavors. Last time, I visited with my vegetarian friend. We ordered the Mushroom Soup, Coconut Chicken, and Veggie Butter Masala — and she absolutely loved it! I had a bit of a cold that day, and the warm, comforting soup really hit the spot and made me feel so much better. The service is always excellent. If you love flavorful Indian food, Shiva’s is a must-try!

Great food but pricy! \nIt's difficult to find good Indian cuisine in Dallas but this place fills the bill! Never a disappointment in freshness and flavor but portions are small and expensive.

Food was tasty and well presented. Atmosphere was great. Service was ok. We had the lamb tikka masala and chicken lamb coconut something. Mango Lassi was sooo good too. We'll definitely be back!

Super delicious!! Everything was well prepared and was probably the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The only reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars is the price. It’s a bit expensive and they told us the naan was included with our meal, but then it had a separate charge on our check? But otherwise it was good!

Decent food and drinks. The mixed tandoori sizzler was good, though the chicken could’ve been a bit more tender. Loved the outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the pond and play area. A nice spot to relax and unwind.

Visited for a team dinner. Shiva's has a very good ambience and decor. It wasn't crowded on a Friday evening. You have plenty of parking in the Parking Garage just behind the restaurant. The service was good and the staff were warm and polite. The food was decent and the Veg Pakodas have enough room for improvement. The Old Fashioned was definitely delivered in the true Texan manner. The chocolate bomb was good but would have been awesome if a bit more crisper. The chilli Naan is definitely nicer for those who prefer the spicy side.
