Extremely tasty food with great presentation, broad range of choices, also for vegetarian options. Top value for money. Service was very attentive and flexible. Atmosphere is nice but very open room and somewhat noisy.

Tout était parfait : service impeccable et personnel très sympathique et souriant, attentifs au client ; propreté des locaux, belle vue sur le golf, confortable, et surtout... Des plats délicieux, plein de saveurs ! Nous recommandons de vous y arrêter, c'est en plus en excellent rapport qualité prix ! L'accord mets et vin, parfait également ! Nous vous remercions pour ce super gâteau d'anniversaire et le petit cocktail en apéritif, cela nous a beaucoup touché ! Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce beau moment ! Went here for birthday celebrations. Had the 3 course tasting menu which was outstanding. As if the food wasn’t a good enough reason to go, the staff were exceptional. Very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back the next time we are on holiday in Quinta do Lago

We had a lovely team dinner here, the service was warm and welcoming, comfortable ambience and very good food. We got the wine pairing option with our courses and the sommelier, Daniela very thoughtfully paired wines with our food according to our preferred taste palate. Our waitress whose name is also Daniela, was super accommodating and attentive too.

One of the easiest 5* reviews I’ve ever given. Incredible food that’s more than Michelin worthy in a sophisticated yet relaxed environment with friendly and professional staff. In fact, we’d go as far as saying the food was better than most Michelin star places we’ve been. The chef and team should be very proud of the quality of food they’re putting out. Exceptional service. Absolutely sensational meal and wine pairings. Thank you to the sommelier who made the evening so enjoyable for us. Also, to the head chef, who is surpassing the majority of offerings in the area. Though everything we tried was delicious, I would most recommend the Fois gras, butternut squash tortellini, crab risotto and the pork they were 10/10. To be hyper critical, there was a small bit of improvement on a couple of (truly meaning 2) dishes we tried. I am very excited to return. Do the wine pairings, don't be shy.

What an lovely setting for a fantastic meal. Certainly a treat and a super way to enjoy the beautiful scenery here in the Algarve. The service staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Recommended a beautiful wine which paired the food superbly. The sea bass and octopus were a highlight for sure. You’ll need to book, and the seat next to the large window was fantastic during sunset.

The octopus and snickers dessert were our favourite! I hope they're always on the menu! We'll definitely be back next time we're in Quinta.

Attentive staff dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful time. Daniela, the maître d'hôtel, and Daniela, the sommelier, were excellent. Knowledgeable about the dishes and wines at hand, they asked questions to create a unique culinary experience specific to our tastes. We choose the wine pairing and each wine was thoughtfully selected. As for the food, we opted for the four course menu. The portions are on the larger size, so you may be able to be satisfied with the three course menu, depending on your appetite. Each course was beautifully presented and the chef took care to make each ingredient shine. In the case of the picanha, it was cooked perfectly and the mosaic fish was delightful. The layout of the main room and an adjacent outdoor dining space feel intimate while being large enough to seat a 50-60 diners. A true gem of a restaurant.

I booked a birthday function in late October 2024 but had a tester dinner 3 days before with selected guests. Our experience on both occasions was superb and thanks very much to Samuel Rodrigues (Head of F&B) who facilitated everything before our departure from UK to The Algarve and during our stay at Quinta do Lago.The “Amara Experience “ is a wonderful concept where you get tasty food prepared with locally obtained ingredients and cooked to your own preference. The food is then paired with the right wine in a fantastic atmosphere. The service is also out of this world …… redefining proper hospitality!!!! We had a wonderful time on both occasions and many thanks to Samuel, the chef , sommelier, the friendly waiters and his entire team!!

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant pour un anniversaire, nous avons choisit l’accord plat/vin… sur 6 personnes, aucun n’a été déçu. Cuisine subtile et très bien équilibrée. Copieuse, attention ! Nous nous sommes régalés. Les associations de mets sont très bien choisit et c’est exécuté avec beaucoup de goût. Les assiettes sont un délice pour les papilles comme pour les yeux. Le personnel est très souriant, serviable et d’excellent conseils. L’accueil est tres chaleureux. Nous avons passé une agréable soirée, avec en plus un petit apéritif offert et l’équipe avait préparé une surprise pour l’anniversaire.. absolument incroyable et tres délicate intention qui nous a beaucoup touchés. Pour nous se fut un sans faute et nous vous remercions encore pour ce merveilleux moment. Félicitation à l’équipe, cuisine comme service !

I can’t tell you enough how much you have to come here. It’s not only unbelievably well priced, but the quality of the food, wine pairing, staff, venue, etc. is beyond anything else in the area (I’ve been coming here for 20+ years). This is Michelin star food at a fraction of the price. I’m vegan, and with just 2 hours notice they managed to accommodate. Fast forward a week and with 2 days notice they edited all vege options on the menu to be vegan for me and my partner, both times it was outstanding. The rest of my family’s meals were also outstanding. The staff deserve a medal as well, they are incredible - Samuel and Danniella are the amazing (and Philipe at the bar). First year we’ve been and 100% my new favourite restaurant in the algarve.
