Aldaco's Tacos

Excellent beef taco, green cheese enchilada and cheese relleno (#23) . Very tasty and not afraid to season properly. Warm tortilla chips and fresh salsa. I wish I we had this restaurant in Dallas.

It's not much to look at on the outside, but the food is awesome and the service is great. My sister got a fajita plate, #23 for $13 (in my experience, that's about average) and it really could feed 2 people. We took a lot of it home. I got a #6 which was beef enchilada and a chili relleno which was mouth watering delicious and was $7. Will go again.

One of my favorite places for New Mexico style red chili enchiladas with an egg on top. The owner is also the cook. She is kind, wonderful, and a pleasure to talk to.

This place wasn't busy when I visited but man.....the food is amazing! I had a barbacoa taco and it was so good! Great menu! I highly recommend this place! Did not disappoint.

I ordered enchiladas and chili relleno and my wife got green chili with beans and rice, those two plates were good. They have reasonable prices.

I've driven by this place for years, finally stopped today and the food was great. Everything was fresh/homemade even the tortilla chips. Had the chille relleno, beef taco, beans and rice. Will be going back to try other things on the menu. ps the food was piping hot yum yum.

The food tasted great, the chips are thick and crispy, and the meal was served quickly. Not sure if it is temporary or not, but they are only accepting cash and $20 bills or smaller.

I love this place so much the owner does everything her self she is a great cook some of the best food i ever ate been eating here since i was a baby i love the food and owner so much highly recommend the combination fajita quesadillas "i think thats how u spell that"

This was probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. True authentic Mexican food. The owner Dora was fantastic and very accommodating. She is just an overall nice person. Had the steak tacos with beans and rice. The flavoring in the steak was amazing. Best refried beans I’ve ever had. Homemade chips and salsa was also great. The only thing I would recommend is that you pay close attention to their signs it is easy to pass by.

Come see Miss Dora and let her feed you. Don't let the slightly shabby look dissuade you. Dora is friendly, kind, and an amazing cook!! The portions were generous, and the sauce for the Taco de Barbacoa was spicy & flavorful. Seriously, we are traveling, and still, I took my leftover sauce to put on my eggs tomorrow at breakfast. It was warm in there, and when another table was finished, Dora asked us if we wanted to change tables because the now open table was closer to the a/c. We will be back!

And then we moved away for some years. And when we came back, the food was just as good. It was maybe even better than I remembered. We went back the other day and it was just as good. We only go maybe once or twice a year but I literally said to my husband... "Maybe we should make this a monthly thing" after our last visit. The parking lot is very small ... Well relatively small. I don't think they are open after 6:00 p.m. or maybe 6:40 p.m. for anything except take out. But the quality of the food and the taste of the food and just everything about the food... This is really good. If you are ever in Amarillo it is some place where you have to stop. If you don't stop, you're always going to wonder if I'm exaggerating and I'm not.

Food fresh and yummy. Thought gueso sauce ok for out of a can and nothing added for flavor or eye appeal. Got it on green Chili Relleno. It and beef red sauce enchilada alacart good. Salsa fresh made good. Wished for cilantro in it or on my other. Was to go so didn't think to ask for it. Nice bag of good f homemade chips in bag. Friend got 2 enchiladas, beans , rice. She said very good. Horichata drink pretty good and big 32 0z. Needs better a/c inside when went inside last week.

Good food, the Lady working was nice. They sell tamales $15 a dozen, pay the day before and pick up hot at lunch the next day. They were large and good.

No working lights inside. We couldn't tell if they were open. Sever came out about 15 minutes while we sat at the table. The chips and salsa, well some chips tasted amazing and the others had a very rancid taste. Food was OK, service was OK nothing special. They don't accept cash. Lots of roaches in bathroom, and toilet doesn't allow for you to put toilet paper in it, so there is a giant bucket with poop paper filled to the top so that was lovely. Might try again

I thought I was getting some authentic Mexican tacos for the price I paid. Their tacos suck! It literally looks and tastes like Taco Bell tacos! Hard shell tacos with no onion no Cilantros? Seriously? What’s the difference between your tacos and taco bell ? Very disappointed.

Went around 3:30p on a Friday. No one else was there. Dead giveaway. Food poorly seasoned. Menu says we accept credit cards; Mastercard or Visa. Waitress/bartender/cook said no I'm sorry we just take cash. Annoying in especially because its 2016. So she suggested I go to an ATM across the way and pull out money. Which we did. Drinks okay. Except for the LIL BIT of mold on my fiancé's beer bottle. Never going back.

Lack of communication, lack of service and if you dont leave a tip ,if no tip is on the table, will add a whatever fee to your bill without your permission to get their tip, an will be very rude about them having to explain what all they charged you for. Recommended not to eat there
