Amazing service!! They have so many options to choose from. They not only have sushi but they have Thai food too. I tried the volcano roll and it was amazing! It tasted so fresh and delicious. If you are in the area I would 100% recommend.

Sleeper spot. King Tut roll is my all time favorite. Orange chicken is great for non sushi lovers. They also have pad thai and a couple other Thai dishes. Service was great and quick. They do have a thirsty Thursday & happy hour menu as well. (Beer/wine/sake) $3 beers on Thursdays.
I discovered this place just a few months back and have since become a regular. The service is amazing, the chef is all over helping you have the best experience, and the food is incredible! One of my favorite sunshine rolls in the valley! This is a must if you’re a sushi fan, they have an awesome array of choices and always deliver on quality and presentation. They deserve all the praises they get!

Great little restaurant right off I-15. We always make a stop when we’re driving through. The sushi is great and has been consistent every time we go. Staff is friendly.
Food was wonderful. The owner dropped off a new creation he made. It was a spicy green curry dumpling. It was so different and so delish! I’ve never tasted something like that before. It was my daughter’s birthday and they brought her a “cake” Made with rice, avocado, salmon, crab and a yummy sauce. See photo. They were kind and sweet with our kids. We will be back!
Amazing experience at Sushi Up! Sushi Up was incredible! The sushi was fresh and delicious, and our server was cute, sweet, and super attentive. The chef was very cool and genuinely grateful—he even came out to talk to us personally, which made the whole experience feel special. He let us try their Thai dumplings, and WOW… 10 out of 10. I definitely recommend getting them! Such a good surprise and totally worth it. Absolutely coming back again! 🍣✨
We’ve been going to Sushi Up for over 6 years and have always had a great experience, but lately it’s been noticeably better. On a recent visit, we asked about a previous menu item that wasn’t available on weekends—which was totally fine—but the staff was so apologetic and went above and beyond by giving us a complimentary appetizer and dessert. We were so grateful! On our most recent visit, our food came out quickly and tasted amazing. We also received the new owner’s special complimentary. We’re always impressed with the quality, the service, and the value. Thank you!
Very delicious, worth the price. Better sushi than most places I've been to. Came out fast. Monkey Brain was great. And everything in the bento box tasted amazing too.
The sushi is the best we have ever had! The Kill Bill was our favorite, and Bulgugi is a must try! Service was amazing too! Highly recommend!
Honestly one of the more unknown and surprising places I have been to in the valley. Food presentation was above and beyond what I would expect for this class of restaurant. The dragon hearts are phenomenal (honestly came back specifically for those). Service was really fast (though not super busy at the time). Will look forward to coming back.
Visited around 7:30 PM on a Friday evening when it wasn't very busy; for a while, we were the only guests in the restaurant. We started with the Dragon Heart appetizer, which ended up being one of our favorites of the night. We also ordered the Fire Dragon Roll and the Volcano Roll. The Fire Dragon Roll was both visually impressive and had a great seared flavor with excellent texture. The Volcano Roll featured a crunchy topping that reminded me of unsalted potato chips, paired with a flavorful sauce, though the roll itself was fairly average. The staff also brought out a complimentary appetizer called Mango Loco, as it was a new item they were looking for feedback on. It featured mango, cream cheese, and what appeared to be coconut shrimp, all wrapped in rice paper. The dish was quite sweet, with the mango and cream cheese providing a nice contrast of flavors, though the sweetness somewhat overpowered the shrimp. While I’m personally not a fan of rice paper texture, I found it acceptable, and my mom enjoyed it quite a bit. Staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The only minor issue was that the women’s restroom was out of paper towels.
Amazing attentive service! Great place to grab a quick bite of fresh sushi! We had 8 different rolls We cleared everything! We had Miso soup, cucumber salad, seaweed squid salad ,potstickers, monkey brain roll, kill Bill roll, rainbow roll, Crazy roll, sunshine roll ,Hawaiian roll ,Oregon roll ,cucumber cup roll. And strawberry mochi.
We found this place about a year ago and it truly is the best sushi we’ve had in Utah. We now go every Wednesday for lunch and is our go to date night spot. Everything we’ve had here is good. Ingredients are so fresh and the chef has created some truly unique rolls that will take you to flavor town. Try the dragon eyes (different than dragon hearts) and the box sushi. They aren’t on the menu, but we get them every time. We also love the kill bill, and the baked salmon roll. You won’t find anything like them anywhere else! They are always so friendly and the service is prompt. 10/10 recommend this place to everyone we know!
Came in for lunch, this is my favorite sushi spot, very consistent with the taste! It's delicious and not too expensive! Totally recommend 10/10 experience!
I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Udon, Hamachi Sashimi, and the Miso Soup. I started off with the Miso Soup appetizer. The broth was rich with flavor and very hot, which I loved. I then turned to the Hamachi Sashimi, which had great melt in your mouth texture, and a wonderful flavor that mixed very well with my soy sauce and Wasabi. Finally, the Shimp Tempura Udon! The shrimp was delightful, the asparagus was bursting with flavor, and had a tactile snap, in case you needed a reminder of how fresh it was. The udon noodles were the perfect doneness and were provided in a good amount, not too much, not too little, just right. The broth was rich in flavor, served piping hot, and really brought the whole dish together. My server, Megan, was very friendly, provided quick service, and was an overall very delightful person, and their presence and attentiveness really added to my experience. The atmosphere was awesome. I dined in at around 1:30pm, and it wasn't super busy. They had nice, smooth music playing in the background, dimmed lighting, and very comfortable seating in the booth. It felt quite comforting and welcoming overall. This was my first visit to Sushi Up, and based on my visit today, it definitely will not be my last!
This is my 3rd or 4th review, I come every Friday here. This place is magnificent. The food is wonderful, great quality, and tastes wonderful. I'm very picky about my sushi 🍣 and this place passes the test, Now let me tell you about the service. Wow, they treat you like family, the chefs great person, and very friendly. The rest of the staff the same always treat me very well. Miriah and kaeli are very attentive all together, excellent service. I would definitely recommend this place. ♥️
We rolled into town after 8 hours on the road and found Sushi Up that was open just in time. We ordered quickly on a Wednesday night at 8:25 and we were served quickly and with a smile from Min. We ordered the 3 roll combos of various sushi. I ordered the Sashimi Bowl and it was GREAT! I devoured the whole thing with the spicy sauce. Pros: stays open till 9, great for larger groups, quick food prep, and great service Cons: only stayed open till 9 If you are in the area and are looking for sushi and a fresh delicious meal. Go to Sushi Up!
Reliable basic sushi spot. Good mix of interesting rolls. To go service was wicked fast. Good for take out.
