Great experience. The place is clean and large. Friendly staff and she explained a little about the food history to us. The food was a bit heavy for me but that might just be Honduran food in general. But I'd come back with friends, for sure.
I live locally and at times really don't feel like cooking. This place is excellent for that and more. I ordered a food platter to go for what I thought was two people, it's amazing the amount of food they give you for the price. Ended up with food for two days. Great taste and very friendly workers.
I was told by a Honduran Lyft driver that this Honduran restaurant is the absolute best in Southern California. That said my Wife and I have been coming here for a few years and always have a great experience whether eating in or ordering delivery. Beans & Rice + fried chicken is my go to. Good Stuff, Great service!
The food here is delicious. I like coming here, because it's something different and super flavorful. The portion sizes are nice, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was good. The only issue is parking in that area in general, but overall we were satisfied.
The food in the atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal, the price point was also great and so were the portions. Our server was the best part of our night, Vengeli was his name!!! Give that man a raise!! He was EXCEPTIONAL, informative of the menu, kind, patient, friendly and made us feel at home. He is a big part of the reason why we will be returning.
This place doesn't miss, you're getting the real deal and authentic experience all around. Some of the best Honduran food in LA. The balleadas are a classic always. Love it.
everyone is so nice and the food is great
Such an underrated place. Great food. Cheap drinks and very nice staff. Definitely a place to check out
I will be back, regularly. This place came recommended and it did not disappoint. The main attraction here is the food and service. It came in the perfect amount and has a homemade freshly cooked feel to it. I took all left overs and they were great warmed up too. The service was friendly and helpful, with small samples and recommendations and good comparison to help us learn a little about what we wanted to order. I would return and highly recommend for tourists as well as residents.
Not only is the food amazing but I do volunteer work with refugees in Tijuana and I discovered this business because they were at the refugee camp I volunteer at and they had come one day making Mother’s Day lunch for 1200 people. Out of the goodness of their hearts they were cooking and feeding amazing food to people who had none. Their food is so so fresh and rich with flavor. I will continue to visit them when I’m in town. This is a business that comes with a big heart for others and I highly recommend.
I love everything I order here. The place is a bit pricey but I understand the struggle. Honduras is not big on the map, geographic nor culinary. This time I took a friend who had been asking me to take her there for quite some time. She loved everything we ordered.
It is shocking that one this place isn't a Michelin Rated Restaurant! The food is amazing and different! Everything on the menu is great,, its hard to decide what to order! The Plantains stuffed with seasoned ground beef appetizer is like nothing you ever had!!! One of the 'well kept secrets' in Long Beach!
This place really exceeded my expectations. They had so many interesting things on the menu, but having never eaten Honduran food before other than pupusas I decided to go with simple fried chicken. I'm really glad the server recommended ordering it with coconut rice and beans because that coconut sauce was amazing. The fried chicken was delicious... not too deeply fried. It was more like a cross between rotisserie chicken and fried chicken, but very crispy and juicy. My dog had a bite and begged for more all afternoon. The plantains were like candy and even the coleslaw had amazing flavor. I'll definitely go back to try more things.
The "Hombre" soup was one of the best soups people in my party had ever had, and all of us being Honduran that says a lot. The waiter not only gave great service but also had an excellent personality and sense of humor. The baleadas and tamarindo drink were perfectly on point, too! Cannot wait to go back.
I would of took a picture of our food but we devoured it! Platano Maduro Con Todo & Chuleta Frita, deliciosa! Ordering was easy and simple, atmosphere when I walked in for pick-up was phenomenal, lots of imported goodies, and great service every time. Thank you Honduras.
2nd time to this restaurant. Everything on the menu is exactly what I look for. From steak, pork chops to chicken. But the plantains come with almost every meal. Yummy. Love this place
Came for the first time and it was perfect on a Monday evening. Big screen was on showing the football game and it was very quiet. Service was excellent and prices are reasonable. Very clean restaurant with decorative Honduran culture all around. We'll definitely be back. Just be cautious of dense street parking.
Amazing service by Maria, she makes, your visit an experience, you actually feel at home. Maria works from Thursday to Monday ..
Truly genuine honduran food, my husband who is from honduras was very pleased with the food, it was delicious and authentic. We were hesitant to come after reading some reviews, but I'm glad we came after all. We've been to the LA location, and this location is fairly better. However, you do have to pay for parking or atleast spend some time finding a parking spot, so keep that into consideration. We had no wait time, the food came out quick and the server was incredibly nice to us. She was very attentive. The dining area was clean, and there were bathrooms available. The sopa de coracol tasted so good, and the pastelitos were delicious.
This is a very interesting restaurant they provide the experience of tropical countries food snacks and drinks I will post pictures, please try some original dishes I came in for the first time in over 20 years and I feel Kool inside good vibe music food and service was excellent, I thank the restaurant for making food affordable in this area, I appreciate having hand made original complete dish of my good taste, sorry if my review is not complete understanding I just love good food, hope to be back soon
My family came to try out this restaurant and we enjoyed our time here! I always get baleadas at Honduran restaurants the first time around to gage where they’re at, and although these are a bit smaller than usual, (for about $3 each) they do have great flavor and flexibility. They allow you to add in whatever extra filling you want, which I think is super important since everyone has their preference. The pollo con tajadas was good, although it must be noted that the portions here are a bit smaller than other CentAm restaurants in the area. Also, the sodas are super expensive, I bought 2 before leaving and it costs be almost $14, just a forewarning! Overall, I think it’s a great choice If you’re in the area looking to try new food or if you’re already familiar with Honduran cuisine, I do think it was authentic and a great place to eat at!
Love this place The food has that honduran taste everyone wants to taste, took here my Mexican friends and they can't wait to go back, they also have honduran snacks and drinks. Can't wait to go back Love it!!
What an experience! First time trying food from Honduras and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. If you’re in Long Beach, this is a MUST GO spot. Highly recommend!
The staff are so extremely friendly. The restaurant is very quaint and inviting. Now the food is delicious. So flavorful and well prepared. If you are in Long Beach stop in and enjoy the food.
Loved the baleadas! The wait can be tough but definitely worth it if your seeking those Honduran flavors. Maria is a great server really kind and personable.
The staff is super fun. Must get one of the Honduran fruit drinks there so good . Super fun place to have a drink or watch a game . I think it also doubles as a night club as well . Street parking only. The staff is really cool . The bat is super fun too. Must see good place for the family when it's not a dance club.
Delicious seafood rice! Love the taco chips too! Great service. Highly recommend
I love the sopa de hombre it really has the authentic honduran flavor, it was a huge bowl, you easily can feed 3 people with that soup.
Chicken masala was 🔥. The chicken and plátanos maduros were excellent. Not too greasy and with good flavor. A little on the pricier side but good portions for what it is.
Everytime I'm here the restaurant is clean, the service is good, the Wait staff is friendly and prompt, and the food is delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop by Honduras' Kitchen.

Honduras Kitchen is a hidden gem. I ordered the Pollo Guisado plate, and it was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and tasted like true home-style cooking. I’ve also had their baleadas, and they are SO good—fresh, comforting, and full of authentic flavor. Highly recommend if you’re in Long Beach and craving authentic, feel-good food. 💛🍽️
Who knew!! Thw best Hondoran food is in Long Beach. We had sopa de caracol, arroz con pollo, casamiento green bananas and the best rosquillas en dulce!!! Wow im impressed even the coffee was delicious 😋
Absolutely sweetest staff and great drinks for a great price. I suggest the whole fried fish so tasty. This place is a gem and everyone should check it out.

Ate here with a long time friend. I ordered a traditional Honduran chicken dish. It was a roast chicken seasoned with garlic and herbs. A bit overcooked but pretty tasty. Their sides were really good as well. The service was really good also.
It's was really good food. I love eating food from the motherland. The pollo con tajadas was so good and the baladas. Recommend this location
This was my first time trying Honduran food and it was pretty good. The chips with the salsa and dried cheese was oh so yummy. I ordered the steak kabob, beans and rice, and fried plantain. The steak was a little bit tough but other than that the food was good. I also tried their mango daiquiri and yeah that was pretty good as well. For a party of five the bill came out to $107, which isn't bad at all. Overall, the ambiance was pretty chill, the waitress was kind and pleasant, and the food was good. I would recommend this restaurant.
We decided to stop by Honduras Kitchen after leaving Tokyo Noir to try their desserts. We sat at the bar and chatted with Maria, our super friendly server. They don’t serve hard alcoholic beverages, but they do have an amazing Passion Fruit juice that was extra delicious. Highly recommend ordering one! For dessert, we tried two different items: the rosquillas con ice cream and the apple crisp. Both were really good in their own unique way, the perfect sweet ending to the night. They also have a snack section my favorite! Lol. They were running a 3-bag special on their plantain chips, which are my favorite, so of course I grabbed some to go! Overall, we loved Maria and her energy, and we’ll definitely be coming back to try their full menu next time. A fun little stop with great service and tasty treats!
Food was good, steak a little salty. Parking wasn’t the best to find but it was worth it. Waitress was very friendly and the staff was very helpful in recommending dishes as I had a little trouble deciding what to get. Very good customer service 🌈 Will come back soon 💖
Had dinner here on a Friday night. Parking was tough to find (we ended up parking in the corner, pay lot). Service is a little slow, but the chips with salsa and cheese they give you before your food comes out, holds you up. I ordered the Pollo con tajadas, it was very good. My husband had the sopa de caracol, also delicious.

They over charged us. We ordered two meals, two drinks and two pastelitos and it came out to $80. The receipt on Square said “custom amount” which means rather than ring items up individually the person added values.
It's mother's day, our plan was to go by a beachside restaurant. On our way we saw this place and my wife said we should try it. I agreed and we went inside. We didn't wait long but the waiter sat us in the middle of the room on a table for two. We personally don't like to sit in the middle of the restaurant. We moved to a corner table for 4 because it felt more private for us. When the waiter came back he basically told us we couldn't sit there and wanted us to go back to the table he wanted us to sit at. We just got up and left the restaurant. I'm from Honduras and my wife is not. It was embarrassing for me and I am ashamed for the lack of service etiquette at this place. If your restaurant is not full, your customers should be able to sit where they feel comfortable. We are definitely not coming back since they prioritize potential sales over customer service.
The service is amazing and the owner is very kind, besides that the food is unseasoned and doesn’t have any flavor it was cold and the portions were small for the price, The price is overly expensive for the worthless food they serve.
Worst customer ever!! False advertising! Came here for dinner one night and had dinner. There was 4 of us dining. We got 2 groupon vouchers each good for 2 people. I called the restaurant before going to tell them that we had purchased the vouchers & once we arrived at the restaurant I once again showed the waiter the voucher before ordering. After we ordered and finished the meal, we were told due to the 'fine print' if we sat at 2 tables instead of the 1 table, we could use the 2 vouchers but because we sat at the same table, they would not take the vouchers. Wow! What a false advertising and not being upfront and honest about things. BEWARE!! Dishonest business owner!
