This red palace is much better than the one in Cerritos. They are very quick to seat you and will serve parties of 2. They have a good selection. The price is currently 19.99 per person. They add gratuity (even for couples) at the end of your meal so make sure to check because they also left us an option to tip more and I think some people likely add a second tip without realizing it.
Wow! Talk about a great bang for the buck. And great quick service. I was thoroughly impressed. So, we love Korean BBQ but there is usually something about each place that makes it less than impressive. This place pretty much checked all the boxes. The food was good and affordable, they were flexible in that you could start with the cheapest menu and if you wanted to upgrade all you did was order from the next menu. The service was super fast. Meat was at our table as fast as we ordered it and was definitely of good quality. And all the servers were friendly. Not always the case a K-BBQs. Definitely going back to this place and soon.

Absolute satisfaction ! 😛 The meat is marinated to perfection then we overcook it slightly. Just writing about it makes me feel like going back again. I have been to $25 a plate plus cannot taste any different also the service is way better at Red Places 2 . Not sure what I like better between this place and Thailcious pad Thai and yellow curry.

The service is consistent (with both the servers efficiency, seating times, and FRESH ingredients etc), the price is fair and it’s always an extremely clean and welcoming environment. Jenny, Enrique, William and the entire team are well-trained professionals at what they do and I appreciate that much!
This has always been our preferred kbbq spot and the service has never been impressive enough to leave a review until they hired Paola! Wow they need to give her a raise! Paola made sure we were taken care of, she never left our side, rice, and salad plates empty, as she is very attentive. She was very nice and overall made this visit our favorite out of all the years we’ve been coming. Thank you so much Paola! 🫶🏼

Best bang for your buck I’ve come across. 12.99 gets you ayce bulgogi, brisket, beef belly, pork belly and more, as well as plentiful sides. Meat quality is good, maybe slightly below gen, and service is fast. For the price it can’t be beat. Definitely consider myself a regular here.

Waiter was ok, it wasn't busy but he took too long to check on us. Food was ok meat was dry. Watch out on your receipt for charges especially the tips. They mislead you into double dip on your tips. I think their original location is way better where the owner works

We came on Sunday lunch time. The place was good, decent parking. There wasn't a wait. The meat selection was good. The kimchi was delicious and the meat flavor was nice. The staff was very attentive and came often to get our new meat orders. Would ten ten come back again.
The food is good and tasted fresh. This is my second time here and the wait isn't too bad. 15 minutes the first time, none the second time. Waiters are good at checking in with you and changing the grills when they get too blackened. The place is a bit run down looking, but easily overlookable. Only down side I felt was that they do get crowded and it gets LOUD. Like, grills sizzling, children screaming and music blaring in an annoying way, but if you can tune that out, it's fine.
Food is okay, service is good, restaurant is clean. No red though. This place should be called Brown Palace 😂 tip is already included so I didn’t add any extra tip
This kbbq location is a very good go to for a meet up with friends, or family. Very casual, good music playing all the time. Reasonable prices for the types of meat that you get and the tier groups are well made. A, b, and c. Very basic from the bottom to top tier. Side dishes were good and plentiful. The service is where it counts I believe. We always had offers to have our grill changed often and also for more sides or meat. Grills were good, but some of us expected a better ventilating hood. I don't think you can get truly smokeless with all those grills indoors anyway. I'll have to try this place again for sure. They have various alcoholic drinks and draft beer available but I did not drink. Parking was plentiful but I can imagine being crowded during a Friday night or weekend night. So plan for that.
Good food, decent service and good atmosphere. The price is right although sometimes the wait is a bit long but well worth it. It's not dress up and go to GEN's, it's more like I just want to eat. Best way I can describe it.
Delicious brisket and price is just right for today's prices ($20 per person). They do charge automatic gratuity at the end (18%) so be sure to check the receipt to decide if you will be tipping more. Their red sauce quality has gone down on this last visit; the sauce had a more watery consistency, possibly to save on cost. Either way, delicious food and courteous service with room for improvements.

So you must come to eat and not just "hang out" due to limited seating 😋 enjoy!

I know there are a lot of bad reviews for this place but my most recent visit was actually pretty good. We were seated immediately and we were constantly checked on by the staff to make sure we had everything we needed. The bulgogi which I don’t order all that much, was the standout here. We ordered five rounds of it and it was delicious! The beef belly and brisket was also quite good and they kept bringing us sides of kimchi and radish paper which was greatly appreciated. Honestly I have no complaints. The last time I came here was seven years ago and it was a horrible experience but I’m glad I gave them another chance.
Management could be nicer to their staff. Their staff are very attentive and always doing a good job

This place is crowded! A cheap meal and a decent taste and selection. It isn’t worth the wait though as the side dishes aren’t that good. If you find yourself hungry for korean bbq and cannot wait, drive yourself over to the nearest other kbbq joint. Its just not worth it! But if you have the patience, then enjoy.

The server we had constantly forgot everything we asked her. It took over 20 minutes for the things we asked for so we weren’t ever sure if she just forgot or if they weren’t bringing it out. I would try so often to get the servers attention but she would literally duck eye contact. To top it off they MADE us pay at 15 dollar tip on a bill for 3 people. Yeah makes sense why she didn’t care about the service she was providing because she was going to get tipped anyway. Jenny 🙄 sucks because I’ve gone here very often but this seems to be the new norm on their billing.

I’m all for tipping I’ve tipped $500 before so I’m not worried about the $20 but let me decide what I should tip. They included the tip in the bill for 3 people? Never coming back here again. And the food isn’t good either.
They didn't let me stay for the full 1 hour and 30 minutes like they promised. They also added the tip automatically. If you're okay with being disrespected as a customer, then this place might be for you. They'll turn your good time into hell. I'm never going back to this awful place.
My friends and I came here at around 9:30 and we noticed that the service was very abysmal, we didn’t even receive our water until our second round of meat. The server had informed us that the last call of meat was at 10:15 and the time he informed us was around 9:50. My friends and I kept trying to signal the staff to inform the staff that we wanted more meat but they kept ignoring us deliberately. We spend almost 100 dollars, we were asked to pre pay as well which I found very vile . I 100% do not recommend eating here, go get your money’s worth somewhere else.
Honestly worst experience ever at a kbbq. Service was horrible. Horrible is not even close to what the service was actually as they ignored our requests multiple times in getting water or refills of food. They warned us about the time that they will have last calls on meat at 10 but the time was already 9:50 from the kitchen which was an unpleasant surprise as they did not post any notice or signs as their dinner time stated that it would be going on until 11. We tried to get our last call of meat but the servers did not come out for another 15 minutes and were deliberately hiding in the back of our kitchen until last calls for meat was over and this frustrates me the most as me and my party did not have time or enough food to be full at the all you can eat bbq. They even made us pay early before hand which was severely unpleasant as this ruined the mood of our restaurant experience. They also started packing up everything early an hour before closing while we were trying to eat what was left which really ruined the experience. This experience has really scarred me as I could not possibly believe how an all you can eat could be like this. It was truly not an all you can eat bbq. Would never recommend. Would never come back
They were stingy with the napkins. I asked twice for extra and they gave me 3 in total. Then they add 18% tip on your bill and still include a tip line so people can mistakenly add extra
Good service, until our time was up. Once our 2hrs was over, they handed our check and ignored us. We thought tip was included in a 7 or more person table, but it wasn't and the waiter hunted us down to the parking lot to ask about his tip. Never has that happened to us. I normally leave a tip good, but confused by receipt. The restroom were disgusting, no toilet paper, diaper and paper towels on the floor, and dirty toilet. Unsanitary all around. It would be unlikely that I would return again. I wouldn't recommend for people to come.
Came a few years ago and loved it. Not so much now. A 18% gratuity is automatically added we were only 3 people. The waitress whispers to me that the card reader isn't working and I had to pay cash. If that were the case she should've told us to see if we are ok paying cash even before being seated. It's a lie to force you to pay cash. Never returning again.
If you want mediocre service and questionable meat then this this your spot. Worse service ever. Waiter stood over us as we paid and demanded a tip after yelling at us because we asked for refills. This place sucks. Mind you it was a slow Tuesday evening. I was also charged a 18% gratuity on my bill when it clearly states 5 or more people will get automatically charged. I had 3 in my party. So we found a hair in the chicken. You judge for yourself. I paid $45.00. Never going back to this place again. Not once were we asked if we needed anything and the place wasn't even busy. Just the hair alone makes me gag - and the meat has no flavor whatsoever. Yeah, I don't recommend this place.
Terrible customer service. The server had attitude and became upset because they requested us to pay in cash, but we did not have cash available. Server was aggressively throwing the straws and chopsticks on the table rather than placing it on the table. Charged automatic 18% tip regardless of the party size (our party was under 6 people) which is the common party size to charge automatic tip. When paying, the server threw my card aggressively on the table rather than hand it over to me. Definitely not visiting again, and highly advise anyone planning to visit to avoid this place at all costs. Terrible service!!!
Pro: 3 tiers of cheap menu prices Cons: 1. Atrocious service 2. Floors were super slippery 3. Meats are sub-par 4. Parking is bad I understand this place is VERY economical which is great for everyone. I mainly eat brisket and bulgolgi, but when you can't even get any because the service is so bad what's the point? I'm specifically talking one older gentleman with all white hair who sat us. I mean, seriously, WHAT IS THE POINT? On multiple occasions my friend and I had to ask MULTIPLE TIMES for basic stuff. Oh you know like a fork, for my godson, a straw for our beverages. We even had to repeat our requests to other waiters picking up the slack for him. One positive that I appreciated was a young waiter actually waited on us, but by that time we were already over it. Not coming back here. Good luck to you if you do.

Gave me the biggest attitude when I tried to explain there was no way it could be mandatory unless it’s over $100 or more than 6 people. I told her she didn’t say that as we were coming in nor is it anywhere in the wall! I’m paying for my food tip depends on your service. She said fine! Don’t come back here! But on top of that: they had AWFUL customer service!!!! So we tried this place out for the first time, as soon as walked in we notice the servers didn’t really want to work. The server gave me an attitude because of my stroller. The restroom doesn’t have a changing station and she told me that either way I could y change her there. I have an uppababy bassinet, I told her I was going to change her in the stroller but if I could do it in the restroom since it was cold out. She said no a stroller doesn’t fit. I had to change my 9 month old outside in the cold. But okay I was hungry. When I used the restroom I realized that my stroller could have sit with extra space for me to do circles around it! We didn’t want to leave since my pregnant self was really hungry! We tried to make the best of the situation, but We had to keep asking for out stuff! Waiter gave us 1 napkin per person, we asked again and she only gave us 2! Mind you I had my kid there. She gave my husband attitude when he asked for a fountain drink instead of can the waiter rolled her eyes! Meat is super thin! With most fat. I would not recommend this place at all, maybe not so much for the food (Mizo soup was cold!!!) but if you like getting disrespected as a paying customer this is your place
Sign says last walk in at 10pm.. we walked in at 940 and the lady said sorry we are closed last walk at 930pm. I told her the sign said 10. She said depends on customer.. what?? So now it depends on the certain customers that they let in and some they don’t. It was only 3 of us. She refused service to us. So rude.. like change your sign. The door is wide open and the sign on the door in red!! Ridiculous

The 2nd time whilst ordering beef bulgogi, I found a fly in our food and immediately reported to our server Jasmin. I showed her the FLY and she immediately took our food away. Comes back and asks if we wish to continue dining, we say we're DONE here. 5 seconds later she comes in with our bill($42.68). We are expected to pay?! We tell her this is ridiculous, we ARE NOT paying the bill! She replies that she can only give us a 10%, yes a 10% only when there is a fly embedded in our food. That is extremely unsanitary, she reports that her boss wont do anything about it and there is nobody else above her that we can speak to. Are you serious?! She calls over another server Kevin and he says the same ridiculous nonsense that she said about only being able to waive 10% off our check. They want to say they are certified with the health department etc, and they want to say a fly in the food is no big deal. I dont think so! They said we can report all we want, but they wont do anything about the situation, not even notify other customers about potentially eating contaminated food, contaminated with a bulging red eyed FLY ! A FLY IN THE RAW BULGOGI MEAT! A SERIOUS HEALTH HAZARD ! THIS WHOLE SITUATION IS ABSURD! This is a DISGRACE TO ALL RESTAURANTS!

This place used to be great, but now I understand why their other locations have closed, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one follows. We were seated before the lunch rush, and it wasn’t busy. From the moment our server greeted us, she seemed rushed and dismissive. She cut me off mid-sentence, walked away before I could finish ordering, and even brought the wrong drink. When our meat arrived, the grill at our table was turned off. It took about 10 minutes for her to notice, despite checking on nearby tables, and when she finally did, she turned it back on and walked away without asking if we needed anything else. Since this is an AYCE spot that was especially frustrating. After we managed to cook one round of meat, the grill shut off again. Another 10 minutes passed before she returned and sarcastically asked whether we wanted it on or off. At that point, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. Instead of handling it professionally, she began arguing with us loudly in front of other customers. She insisted we pay full price and tried to add an automatic 18% gratuity…even though we only ate one plate due to the ongoing issues. Very disappointing experience. I would avoid this place.

You are better off paying a little bit more and going to Gen Korean barbecue. I don't know what happened to this place a year ago. There was a lot of more meats will never come back.
