This restaurant is small in size but has around three rooms available for small gatherings. It seems perfect for family gatherings, post-golf meetups, or small company dinners. All the food is excellent, and the server was very friendly, even providing complimentary service.
Updated on 4/12/21 Stopped by last minute for a quick bite and they did not disappoint. Place wasn’t very busy around 8:30pm on a Friday night, so outside was already cleaned up and only had tables set inside. I told them we had a dog with us and preferred to sit outside instead of leave our dog inside the car and they quickly set us up outside even though they had to bring out the chairs again with all the place settings. Needless to say, service was excellent from there on and food was on point as usual. Kalbi ribs, bulgogi, tofu soup and cold noodles were all fantastic. ———- They are open for dine in! I wish I lived closer as they are quickly becoming a favorite Korean dining spot for me. They didn’t have the chayote squash I loved before, but the cucumber kimchi was the best I’ve ever had. The night was pretty chilly but I promised myself that I would try their cold noodle (neng myun) special, which is BOGO. The picture shows one traditional cold noodle and the other being spicy noodle (no broth) but found out you have to order two of the same type, so we went with the traditional which is my favorite. It didn’t disappoint, but I did learn that the 2nd/free one doesn’t come with meat or egg, so not best for sharing. Really good if you’re hungry and want extra noodles, broth and veggies. Will revisit for next warm afternoon. Also ordered the kalbi ribs and tofu soup combo. Pricy at almost $30, but some of the best tofu soup I’ve had. Tofu soup seems tp be pretty standard for every neighborhood these days and most are pretty good, but when you have a chance to try a premium version like the one here, you appreciate the extra care and layers of flavor, not to mention having protein in every bite vs searching for it and wondering if there was any. The kalbi is good, but have to admit it’s not the best but right up there with some of the best and not as greasy or fatty as some others. All in all, a great experience including service which is spotty at many Korean restaurants due to language, but they do try very hard and is more than above avg our drinks were refilled, banchan refilled and they checked on us frequently even though we were outside and the only ones dining in. It’s too bad the seating is limited outside since the set up is so nice, but hoping they can keep the business running until we can eat inside again.
Man this place is amazing the short ribs is one of the best I ever had a must try at this location. The beef tofu at medium spice is also amazing I really enjoyed the food here. Will be coming back again. If anyone is in the mood for some top of the line short ribs this is the place to be. 10/10
This is my favorite Korean restaurant. The best food, service, and banchans can be found here. I literally order the same thing all time that the staff know my order. 🤣 I’m not opposed to trying new things or different items on the menu though. As of March 2025, spent the past couple of years trying Bossam at different restaurants. This is my favorite bossam place, specifically the radish that it is served with. Just FYI, there are raw oysters in it…. but the flavors are phenomenal.
Fantastic Korean restaurant, great food and service 10 out 10
Another delicious Korean restaurant around Cerritos. Really love the food here!
This Tofu is real :) The best in LA!!! Hardly recommend and the staffs are very friendly!

Great food, ambiance, and service! The galbi and seafood pancake was perfectly cooked. The seafood pancake wasn't oily at all and the galbi was perfectly marinated! The service was the best I've had in a while. The servers greeted me with a big smile and made me feel like I was at home. If you're in the mood for Korean food don't hesitate! I'll definitely be back!
Banchan was great, clean taste, they have a special order 1 cold noodle, and get extra free, and we were able to mix and match with spicy cold noodle, and it was awesome! It was so good, i forgot to take pictures. Pork spareribs was out of this world good. I will definitely go back
I came in for dinner feeling a little suspicious of the prices, but all the food was very well worth the price. We got the steamed pork with cabbage wrap and kimchi, which was meant to be eaten by two people, and we couldn't finish! The service and atmosphere were very nice. I would 100% recommend this place.

Clean restaurant with plenty of seating—very comfortable even during peak hours. The overall flavor was mild and not too salty, which I really liked. The cold noodles were freshly made and super tasty with a great chewy texture. The soy-marinated pork ribs were juicy, flavorful, and came with a nice smoky touch—plus, the portion was generous! Side dishes were nicely presented, though not super plentiful, and no one came around to refill them during the busy time. Still, the food felt light, clean, and well-balanced. I’d definitely come back for the cold noodles and galbi. Great spot if you enjoy less salty, well-prepared Korean food!
4.2 stars. This place is more than soondoobu. Man, me and my boys feasted!!! Will def come here again. Parking can be challenging and we were in a more private area and the group inside w us was extremely loud. I wanted to laugh loud on purpose (I can be super loud if I want) but decided against it. The waitress actually apologized for on their behalf. Reminded me of the drunk personality sketch I saw somewhere. That group of 5 were definitely the LOUD drunks ;) still fun times and great food. We got the big yukejang, haemul pa Jun and a bunch of other stuff. Workers were nice and we got a little drink on. Fun times
Pork & Kalbi bbq and spicy cold noodle combo is the go to!

Open for Christmas dinner! All kinds of Korean dishes, and we were happy with what we got.

Overall probably a 3.5/5 because the food was pretty good but when it came to paying, they already placed an included tip and my party decided we'd put $5 on top of the already included tip. The worker then went "Five dollars?" and went to get the receipt and pointed at the 18% already included tip and asked for $15 more. Yeah no, so we paid with the extra $5 and left as the lady working the front gave us a real dirty look...
Customer service was superb! However there was barely any meat on the hot plate and too much rice .... You come here for the traditional atmosphere and customer service. If your looking for value your much better at those bulgogi build your own bowl. More meat and lower cost. Otherwise great place !
It wasn't too bad but pretty much too salty for just about every banchan and main dish. Tofu was too salty and cold spicy noodle was ok but too sweat. These are not really authentic korean tasting food, but still ediable....

I think they changed their chef or something. We got our pork ribs and it was so badly cooked and raw that it still had blood dripping when we cut into it. Instead of cooking a new order for us, they just recooked the same meat and burned it terribly and sent it back. We brought it up and they shrugged. Sad because this was one of my favorite Korean restaurants for a while but now I don’t think I’ll return since the quality of food has gone down across dishes.

I have never written a negative review before but I am so peeved. We stopped by this restaurant for dinner because we were craving Korean food. The food was alright, nothing special, had better elsewhere. However, the customer service was horrible. For the price you’re paying, it’s honestly not worth it. No one came by our table to check up on us even ONCE after our food was served. Didn’t even bother to flag down a waiter because they never even came our way. A waitress, an older Korean woman with short hair and glasses, rang up our bill and had the audacity to demand a tip. How do you shamelessly demand a tip when the service was entirely lacking?? We always tip reasonably wherever we eat but the fact that she rudely forced us to CHOOSE a tip option of 18% or 20% was ridiculous. We didn’t want to make a scene about it, tipped them what they didn’t deserve and got outta there. Just stick with your go-to Korean restos. This ain’t worth your time and money.
DON'T COME HERE. I was forced to tip 18% or 20% on the bill. I had no option of choosing my own tip, and I didn't want to become a Karen and explode at the waitress. I just paid the 18%. This is ridiculous because the service is slow and inattentive. The food is okay but pricey. The sides are extremely stingy and just straight up vegetables. You're better off at BCD tofu house.
