The food was unacceptable. My chicken tenders and fries were freezing cold and tasted very bland. The staff was friendly however which is why I'm giving it a 2 star instead of a 1.

The food wasn’t bad until I found a deep-fried rubber band in my chicken. I attempted to contact the store for over 30 minutes. The only answer was a young man, who when I told him my issue, and I needed to speak to a manager. He hung up on me and no one has answered the phone since. This is absolutely unacceptable service! Do not recommend eating here

Bush chicken is running an ad where they say, tell them you saw this ad for 10% off. 3rd location where I was told, they don't honor that anymore. I saw the ad this morning.

I ordered a 20 piece tender meal and 12 PC gizzards...I spent almost $60 on food and my gizzards were bigger than the chicken strips, and the strips were dry and old, i even waited 30 minutes for my order. I live 45 minutes away from this location so I could not return. I am disgusted on how someone would even serve this crap to anyone. Do better!!!!!! As for the manager you should be ashamed of yourself for allowing this to be packed up. Lesson learned, I won't be going back thats for sure!!!!

Do not go to this place. They have object(s) in the parking lot that are not visible when driving through or parking, whether day or night. Little to no warning that these objects are there. Dozens upon dozens of markings showing dozens of accidents and damages. Corey Bush's response..."I talked to my insurance agent, and he told me that since is a fixed concrete object on the parking lot I am not responsible for it getting hit." Yet, this same thing happened to me at a Walmart in San Antonio once in the past, about 12 years ago. Walmart was absolutely AMAZING!!! They covered ALL damages quickly, offered a rental and a hotel, while my vehicle was being repaired. SAME EXACT SITUATION!!! They realized their mistake, and made it right. A light pole was down that belonged to them, literally on the floor (which you can also see in the pic I took at Bush's Chicken), which then becomes a blind object that is in your path and you completely unknowingly hit it... and your vehicle is nearly totalled. Cost of repair at both Walmart and Bush's Chicken was about $10k. Walmart quickly covered the bill, while Corey Bush at Bush's Chicken basically laughed in my face. After having boycott Bush's Chicken for nearly a year, I returned to this location, took a pic of the same object, and kindly asked Corey Bush if he could hook me up with a meal just as a kind gesture... instead, he ignored me. Nothing. I was absolutely disgusted wth the interior of the store. It was so filthy and the bathroom was a breeding place for disease. The place smelled like rotting meat/sewage. Four people stood behind the counter looking at a phone when they should have been cleaning. When you come to the counter to order, they split to the back. No one else was in the store. The wait is ridiculous, up to 45min on occasion, or they suddenly close without warning even if you call ahead with your order. The food was dry, cold, rubbery, some lacked seasoning, some had too much. People have reported flies in their food in multiple reviews. Do not go here. Please boycott Bush's Chicken, and when you see that the object(s) has been removed/repaired, please take a pic, and post it. Clearly no one cares about you or anything here. It's like everyone is just counting the minutes till this place shuts down.

My brother pulled up on Bush’s yesterday after work at 9:20 pm and they told him they were closed. Hours on here state yall are open until 10. Just thought I’d leave a review in case the manager or owner sees that the employees are making yall lose your money. 🤷🏽‍♀️ He looked inside and saw a lot of chicken left. He said “I would’ve gone in there myself and packed it up.”

This happened on August 14th 2025. I ordered the chicken fried steak, what I had received was far from acceptable. The chicken fried steak was not cooked fully, leaving parts of it underdone and unappetizing. The mashed potatoes were overly mushy with a texture closer to paste, and the seasoning was so heavy with salt that it was hard to eat. Within hours of eating, I became very sick and suffered food poisoning from this meal. This was not only unpleasant but also concerning for my health and safety. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend eating here. I strongly urge management to address food safety and quality control immediately, and I advise others to avoid dining here until these serious issues are corrected.

I hesitated to review but it has become a common occurrence to be told they are closed for the night when the business hours posted says open until 10pm. I have had this happen as early as 8:30pm and a young man tell us they were out of chicken and “maybe go try the Buffalo Wild Wings I hear they’re good” and numerous times between 9:00 and 9:45. Each time they say sorry the registers have already been shut down and we can’t do anything. Meanwhile still pulling fresh chicken and the warmers still full of chicken.

I have been to this bush’s atleast 4 times trying to see if it gets any better but it doesn’t chicken is always burnt and cold absolutely trash.

Bush chicken is my favorite chicken spot, and when I saw one in my travels in Andrews Texas I had to stop, mostly eat at the one in midland and China springs tx. Service was impeccable was in a hurry so took my food to the truck, started driving then opened it up. I order a 6 tender meal with two extra( 6ft 7in guy) and and fried okra. Got 8 of the smallest tenders I have ever seen, most the size of McDonald’s chicken nuggets, almost no chicken just batter. Okra was good but I don’t know how the quality at this place was so bad. The staff seemed amazing everyone working as a team but the food, absolutely terrible.

The most bland chicken we've ever had not to mention the dinner roll had more flavor than the chicken did. Our 2 sides where jalapenos poppers and "cold" fries with a mystery fried piece of crunchy something -seriously! For spending $30 and having to throw away all of it except the poppers and rolls is quite disappointing.
