This place is AMAZING, the food is to die for and I would really recommend this place and I don't even like BBQ that much we ordered the Spicy chicken tacos and the Brisket tacos and OMG these tacos are some of the best I've ever eaten this place is worth your time and money!

The food here is amazingly delicious! The Doc Holiday is the best burger I've ever had and the pepper jack sausage is so good. The brisket tacos are made with homemade corn tortillas that are heavenly.

Outstanding BBQ! The ribs were fall off the bone tender but still moist and flavorful. Brisket had great flavor and everything had just the right amount of smoke. The menu has some creative BBQ entrees. The brisket tacos with siracha sauce were good.

Stopped by on our way from Carlsbad to Palo Duro. A little off the road but well worth the stop. We knew by the smells outside that we were in for a good meal. We had to wait for a table but ordered first so it was almost ready when we sat down. We had brisket, jalapeño sausage, dirty rice, beans, potato salad and siracha slaw. The brisket was very tender and had a nice smoke ring. All sides were freshly prepared but the dirty rice was the favorite for both of us. Sampled the banana pudding for dessert. The young gentleman and lady at the counter were very friendly and welcoming.

Visiting Seminole, TX for the first time from Indiana and asked the locals where the best BBQ was and everyone recommend Slim’s. Man, not only was the meat top notch and desert amazing, you couldn’t leave unhappy if you wanted to. I was simply blown away by their service and their aim to please. You can tell they take great pride in the quality of their food and I can tell you, they deserve all 5 of these stars. Don’t leave Seminole without trying!

Best BBQ in town. The daily specials are amazing deals for cheap but absolutely delicious barbecue! And my personal favorite potato salad is here at Slim’s. Don’t forget to try a brisket taco before you leave! It’s a must try in Seminole!

Amazing bbq and the owner was a great guy! We were driving through west Texas on a road trip and couldn’t be happier we went out of way to make the stop. Brisket tacos and ribs on point and it couldn’t have been a better first meal in my home state!

Service and Food is awesome. A small BBQ place. Almost feels like a family own and operates this establishment. Place is very clean and staff is very friendly! Frequent follow up to see how your doing and refilling drinks. Order the chicken Breast, beans and potato salad and all was great. I will definitively come back again!

Good food all around!! Prices were reasonable and the service was excellent. Definitely give the banana pudding a try; you won’t regret it.

Small family run barbecue place with dine in takeout, or patio dining. Brisket tacos were excellent. Note if you order water you get bottled water. Large adjacent gravel lot suitable for RV or truck trailer parking.

Some darn good BBQ! I was going to take a picture but forgot once I took the first bite. I ate the Doc Holliday, darn good and I also had a small thing of Frito pie, a brisket taco and a side of sausage and a couple of pulled pork tacos and the banana pudding is like no other. That is one of a kind of banana pudding, the best banana pudding I ever had sorry Grandma lol

Found this place by chance. Almost never stop in Seminole. One of the best burgers of my life. Thick patty, perfectly smoked, and piled high with toppings. Will be back!

The waitress was very attentive and the owner Terry quickly realized we were new and offered free samples of the TACOS! Left us all saying maybe we should have ordered those... the BBQ was OUTSTANDING! We definitely will be coming back.

Cheapest FFL fee I've seen in the area or anywhere for that matter. Shot the breeze with him and was getting ready to leave when he sent me back with the days leftovers. Burgers, ribs, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, and brisket. Y'all, I'm from the Lockhart area which claims to be the birthplace of BBQ and this place was better than any of the joints down in my area. Appreciate the small-town attitudes and hospitality that this place exudes. World could use more of that. Y'all gained a customer and a friend for as long as I'm in the area!

Damn good BBQ! The pretty ladies taking orders and bringing the food were very pleasant and easy to speak with. They appeared to really enjoy their job. If you get the chance to speak with the owner say HI, he is one cool dude. The BBQ Amazing. Tried every dish and was satisfied with them all. I highly recommend you try this place out...I will be returning many times.

Wow... !!!! Wasn't expecting that !!.. for starters friendly people .. guest eating and the employees and owner.. second.. the food was / is much better than expected. I was disappointed in the ribs. Only because I didn't get any. Which means it's really good ... * Sold out.* They had Frito pies.. 😛 my favorite.. I'll definitely be back to give the rest of the menu a try . BUT what is really a kicker... Which is special.. you can buy ammo ... Yes ammo ... Love it.. brisket and bullets.. ribs and rounds ... Feed you and your side arm .. prices is moderate on food .

The meat was cooked perfectly! I loved that the beans had beef in them. Reminds me of eating cowboy stew growing up. The potato salad was definitely homemade, but a tad bland. Nothing a little salt and pepper couldn't take care of.

I didn't really need fries because the burger was so big I barely finished it! I'll definitely be back in here very soon! They also have a drive up window for call ahead orders!

If I could give it less, I would. I have no opinion on the food. We were not given a chance to order, none the less taste the food. The white patrons looked to have gotten excellent service. My husband and I, both African-American, were stared at, walked pass and whispered around, but in the 15 minutes we were there, 2 white patrons got their orders in. My husband and I got the message loud and clear and walked out.
