Fun rest area in the middle of I-90 with a footbridge over both sides of the highway. Options for food, fantastic restrooms - sinks have integrated hand dryers, and comfortable spaces to sit. Will plan for this to be our pit stop again when traveling in the area next time.

I would ignore all reviews older than about six months before this. It’s been a few years of pain as massive renovations were underway but they are now complete. A really pleasant place to make a stop after leaving Canada or returning. Much, much improved inside with several new food offerings, clean washrooms and reason gas prices. It’s always our first and last stop on our annual trip south.

Great food rest area stop on New York highway 1-90, a must stop each time traveling between Erie, PA and Buffalo, NY. Has Starbucks, Cinnamon, Auntie Anne's, Fast food restaurants. Indoor & outdoor seating, nice gift shop & gas stations.

They really fix this place up. Got a Chick-fil-A and everything in there. Starbucks it's crazy Nice now.

I’ve been stopping at this rest stop for my entire life. The changes are definitely beautiful, though nostalgia won’t let me fully appreciate all the bright and shiny new features. With all the high-end fast food eateries, it’s no longer the most economical option for us. The gas is slightly higher, the bathrooms are smaller. It is, however, a much brighter building with plenty of places to take a rest break. There’s also outside seating. Most importantly, there’s still great opportunities to waive to truck drivers on the walking bridges.

As a recently remodeled facility, it looks pretty nice and clean. However, the bathrooms might need some improvement. They have those sinks with the hand dryers built into them. But…they don’t actually dry your hands! And there are no paper towels. I had to use toilet paper from one of the stalls to dry my hands.

With the remodel it is cleaner and its nice that there is something drive through available, but it looks like that added Starbucks took up some of the limited green space that was safe to bring your dog. In the middle by putting in a Chick-fil-A, its an option thats not available on Sunday which seems silly with that being a huge travel day.

East bound: Tricky finding the actual lot entrance to park your vehicle because there are three separate signs, each spaced about three car-lengths apart with each sign displaying arrows pointing left and each is followed by a driveway. FYI, in my experience, it's the third arrow/entrance combo! The place offers a one-stop fill-your-needs-quick via a fast walk across the non-airconditioned (as of this review) pedestrian bridge to bathrooms, a small convenience store, and fast foods (Chick fil a, Panda Express, Starbucks), all in one area. To top it off, you can fill your gas tank just before getting back on the interstate.

2025-04-13 - 3 Stars. Not sure when they opened backup but glad they have. Chick-fil-A is a bad option for any Thruway stop as their hours are limited and closed on Sunday. Entry way to bridge walkway needs to be panted / fixed Inside bridge walkway looks like paint was slapped over the old paint ( it shows ) should be completely redone.
