The elote salad was delicious and the Brie burger was also tasty. Had a nice selection of beer. Patio is dog friendly and had a lot of shade.

Nice place to grab a bite and a pint while in town. I should have checked their website for the menu because I went off of a picture on Google and was surprised they didn't have the plate I was after. I ended up ordering a combination pizza and it was very good. They also sell 4 packs of their beer to go.

Stopped in for a quick try of the tap beers. Had the bar tender choose for me his top 4 favs. I loved them all. Huge fan of the Mexican lager. Thanks guys.

Nice place. This place has alot of choices. Family-friendly. We were here for an after work lunch. We sat in the patio area and had a great time. I wish they had fries and onion rings. A worker said its because they done have fryers.

Plenty of IPAs to choose from if you like IPAs. They were out of several others when I went. I’m sad I didn’t get to try the sour since I don’t like IPAs. Steer clear of the hard seltzer. It tasted like dirt. The atmosphere inside was nice and modern. But lock your doors before going in. The area is rough and the parking is terrible. I don’t suggest parking on the side streets. The food was really great. Goat cheese stuffed mushrooms are a must!

Great beer and shockingly good food (those collard greens)! I've lived in the area off and on for 10 years and I am so glad there is a place like this here. I will definitely be coming back!

Decent brewery with food. Beer was really good, had a couple different IPAs. Food was also good but not great. Ordered the Mac Burger, a variation of the Big Mac. Bun was good, meat was well done so a little dense and dry. Baked beans were also good. Order at the counter, no table service.

Sacramento Honey

I am a huge fan of King Cong beers. Everytime I see a new brew I pick it up, since there's a high chance I'm going to love it. That is why I was excited to visit their brewery. Looking at the location on Google Maps, I could tell it wasn't in the best area of Sacramento. It was disheartening to see the brewery wasn't as I imagined. It was messy and looked thrown together. It appears King Cong brewery puts more consideration into their beer than they do their brewery. Although, I enjoyed the beer, it's not a place I'd want to linger long. It would not be a great date spot, because of the location. It's a sketchy area and I wouldn't want to wander far from the brewery. My suggestion is: put your brewery supplies in the back and not where the customers can see them, add comfortable seating, provide games to encourage customers to stay longer and create a more inviting patio area. Food was terrible and it smelled like an old IPA inside. I really wanted to like my elote salad but it was dry and the minuscule amount of corn was from a can. It also had giant jalapeño chunks which was off putting.
