This place is frickin awesome! The crowd was super friendly, the bands were fun. The bartender Joanne was fast and attentive, I never waited more than 2 minutes for service on a busy night, she straight up rocks. We had a blast!

Love it here! It’s a dive bar but better. Food truck plus a band makes fit the perfect night. Not over the top prices so you don’t feel depleted. Enjoy!

Pretty basic, no frills or fancy schmansy, full bar great staff, even better customers! Juke box, barstools, dart board and beverages with good company, what more do you expect?!!!

I just like it.I came back to Calif. again this year for a visit. Went to OTHGS and Ed and Pete were out side and recognized us even with masks on. The place was pretty busy with people enjoying food from the taco truck with a soda or cocktail. Malinda was very nice calling some people that we know to come visit with us. The little blonde bartender was very professional and attentive to everyone's needs. Good job Pete keeping the bar alive even through covid 19 and the loss of your mother and Joann. I will be back next year. See you then!!

One of the kind, and kind to all. A great local's spot, with good traveling music from time to time. It's reasonable pricing for Capitola, and you won't have to deal with the worst things to exist on this side of town: tourists. Happy they're around and still doing the honest bar tending of days past. The only negative thing is they stopped smoking in doors some years back. But times change, I guess.
