Signature noodle with knife cut , chicken wings, and green bean were excellent.
The love the Chinese have for noodles is perhaps only rivalled by the Italian’s love for pizza. There must be at least 100’s of different varieties of noodles in China catering to different regions throughout the country. In Beijing alone, there are so many different kinds of noodle dishes in the city, from the traditional Beijing noodles with soy bean paste to braised noodles with cowpea, to the scallion noodles from southern China, and ramen from Japan. Here at Noodle St. in Arcadia, you can sample some of those norther region noodles made with hand pulled. This restaurant mimics the Beijing street food noodles. You can order from four different types of in House made noodles including hand pulled regular round noodle, flat noodle, knife cut noodle and triangle noodles. To go with the noodles, you can choose different toppings. The special beef round noodle is everyone’s favorite. The beef is tender and flavorful and the broth tasted amazing. I love their knife cut noodles with egg and tomato. When I was on assignment working in Beijing, I would have one bowl of this kind of noodle at least twice a week at the food court in our office building, just didn’t seemed to have enough of them. Other items like scallion pancake, beef rolls, and lamb skewers are excellent. The service is amazing here. Our server kept coming back to our table to make sure our needs were all taking care of. They were very friendly. Highly recommend this place. If you don’t want to wait in a long line next door at Din Tai Fung, you can definitely give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.
Amazing! I've never had the chance to actually eat here until today, and I was pleasantly surprised. The egg+tomato knife noodles caught my eye as egg+tomato over rice is my favorite chinese dish, and was in awe of how good it was. It was the perfect balance between savory, sour, and a little bit sweet. The knife noodles were very chewy and the dish itself was a bigger portion than I expected! My mother had the chicken noodle soup, and she shared some with me. It was amazing as well! The white chicken broth was the perfect saltiness and was both savory and refreshing. We got the regular rice noodles with it and they were very yummy. The spinach and mushroom that were a wonderful touch as well. We enjoyed both of our dishes and the staff were super quick, helpful and friendly. It was so fascinating to see them make noodles through the open kitchen window. Another plus was the fact that all staff were masked, which added to their great sanitary conditions. Will definitely eat here again!
Hello fellow foodies! -Tried Noodle St. at Santa Anita Mall and really enjoyed it. - The food was super tasty—especially the spicy beef noodle soup. - Noodles were just right and the broth had a lot of flavor. - Rice dishes are excellent too, especially the Korean BBQ with rice. - The place was clean and the staff was friendly. - Definitely a good spot to grab a meal if you’re at the mall.
My seasonal veggie soup and noodles were good. I also tried the spicy beef noodle soup but didn't get a photo. Noodles have 4 options and my favorite is the flat noodle. The soup was about a 7/10 spicy, sliiiightly numbing. Really good even though I can't handle spicy. My spicier-loving friend handled it much better.
Great place for pulled boodles or hand shaven noodles. The noodles had a great gluten development so it was nice super chewy mouth feel. Broth was pretty good for the spicy noodles, not blow your pants off but also not tasteless. Lamb skewers were good quality but quantity is ehh. Overall great meal and would recommend and revisit
Signature Beef Noodles and Hot Green Tea with a 20% tip about $25, super hungry east coast stomach so take it as you will, I demolished that dish with the hot chili sauce in there.
Very tasty knife cut noodles and soup, service was great, can't wait to try more items from the menu
Jason is the GOAT. Super kind, took his time with our order, and explained everything to us with perfect professionalism. Me and my friend came from VA to visit Cali, and will 1000% be coming back next time we come to CA. Btw (EVERYTHING IS HALAL!!!) Thank you Jason!
Wait was around 12 minutes. But this are the best Biang Biang noodles you will try ! Noodles are chewy , which you can choose the chewiness level . The broth is rich in flavor and the meat is nice and tender. This soup is the best and should be a must if you’re in the mall. You won’t regret it. There is more than just soup. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Simply delicious noodles and beef roll!! It’s nice you can choose which noodle shape you want, and they’re so yummy and perfectly chewy. You can choose how spicy you want it by adding the chili yourself at the table. The beef roll is my absolute favorite. The service is friendly and fast, and I love the view into the kitchen of the chefs hand pulling the noodles!
Had to try this place when I saw they had knife cut noodles. We tried 3 different dishes and were in a trance when we ate. The table was quiet and silent dancing occurred with each bite. Chicken wontons were big and juicy. The noddles were the perfect texture. Tomato Egg Noodle actually had flavor, some places water it down, but not here. The sauces used for the wontons and Qinghai noodles is so addictive we added the rest to the Tomato Egg Noodle and it was amazing. This place blew us away. The whole experience was perfect, even the service was sweet and quick. Will have to come for the rest of my life.
Their food is absolutely delicious. The Customer Service is amazing. They treat everyone equally. I noticed a woman having a hard time with their child due to being on the spectrum and the staff handled it so well my food was hot and fresh and The prices are definitely worth it
Great service, tired of waiting Ding Tai Feng 1.5hrs, just right next to it DTF. Great selection of noodles and various snacks, taste no bad no comparison to DTF may worth the long waiting time
The signature noodle soup I had was delicious with a deep, flavorful broth, and the beef roll pancakes were great, too.
If you like your noodles spicy you need to try this place. When we went it was very busy, we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table but I can assure you that however long you may need to wait it will be worth it. Food is superbly cooked, portions are massive, service is great, waiting staff are ready to advise about dishes and take your order with a smile, which in my book goes a long way. I recommend the braised chicken which is soft and tender and has a spicy kick. You can even choose what type of noodles to have with your dish.

Good price. The Garlic Green Beans are a must-have. My partner and I shared that and the Stir Fried Noodles. It was perfect for 2. We chose the flat noodles for the stir fry and it was chewy and yummy.

Came here for lunch didn't realize it's in the mall, I had order the beef bone noodle and my sister ordered the beef noodle, think the soup was salty and for the price it's expensive for the portion. I wouldn't come back here. Service was good.
If there’s beef noodle to try, I’m there! Got their signature beef noodle. And it was a bit saltier than expected. The flavor is there though! The noodles absorbed the saltiness so it’s not just bland noodles. Their meat was tender. I got a few pieces of radish, it’s super thin. My friends bowl did not have any radish. Your food will come out within 15 minutes so it’s pretty quick! This spot is upstairs across from dintai. Don’t come after 12, their line will start forming. I want to come back and try their spicy beef noodle soup.
If you’re into big beef bone noodles, this place is solid. The broth is clean and not overly salty, which I appreciated compared to some Vietnamese spots. I tried the noodles and the onion pancake, which was just okay. But the tea stood out. I got the unsweetened one and it actually tasted like real brewed tea, not the sugary kind. Lunch for two was on the pricey side, but it’s 2025 and that seems to be the norm now. Overall, a good experience and worth a visit if you’re nearby.
Came here bc like was very long at DTF and we were cold and hungry. We were seated right away on a weekend evening after 7p. This was super chill and casual sit down out in the mall. Ordered the signature beef middle soup -- food came out decently fast: noodles and beef were good. Not too salty. If you share it they even give you scissors to cut the noodles and beef too. There wasn't any veggies at all. The beef roll was a bit disappointing -- it's a 3 out of 5 for me. Flavors are ok. Overall service was prompt, though pretty pricey for noodles and beef imho, but it's a decent alternative when you have Live action noodles in the making that you can see through the window :)
The atmosphere and aesthetic are the best part of this restaurant. Even in a mall it is very beautiful. The menu is simple and has many different types of noodles. The noodles come out very quickly, which makes me think that they are premade because they did not taste super fresh. The chicken was a bit rubbery, and the beef noodle soup only had 2 small pieces of beef but lots of noodles. The staff only took our order, brought the food and the check. They did not refill my water the entire meal. Overall though a decent noodle spot to grab an affordable bite to eat.
Visiting Los Angeles for hubby's business trip and decide to try this restaurant next door to Din Tai Fung (did not want to wait one hour for seats). We are glad to have chosen this place! It was yummy and fast, as well as good service being provided for us as first time visitor. 😃 We will recommend this place if you like fresh noodles. Their fried rice, which was recommended by the server, is also pretty tasty!
Nice place. Convenient food. Pretty nice & quick service too! Broth was flavorful, and the broth:noodle:meat ratio was just right! Noodles aside, their 紅油抄手 Wontons are more on the sweeter side, but I'm OK with that! Their other dishes are worth a try too!
I was in the Santa Anita mall and wanted to try out a new restaurant, and I found this place just right next to DTF. And I've gotta say, this place exceeded my expectations! What I got? Spicy beef noodle soup & Beef roll pancake special Would I recommend? My recommendation would be their beef roll pancake special, it was SO GOOD! It was crispy and full of flavor! What I loved the most was that they gave tons of fresh scallions and cilantros, oh my gosh it was so delicious, plus with the house sweet bean sauce! Outstanding dish! Hands down to the best beef roll in the area. As for the beef noodle soup, it's decent but probably not my favorite (yes, I'm picky about beef noodle soup) However, it's certainly a good option to try out in the mall. Overall, it's a yummy place!
The best part is watching the chefs twirl and stretch the noodles in the kitchen window. Food was good, although service could have been more organized. They do not hold back on the spicy noodle, so make sure you like a lot of chili oil. Beef roll is also a signature menu item which is flavorful and crispy with hoisin sauce inside.
i got the signature beef noodle soup and it was pretty flavorful and light, not the most flavorful though. the noodles were nice and chewy and the beef was tender while my mom got the egg tomato noodles, she said it was pretty good. service is super fast and the staff is (mostly) friendly. probably will visiting this place more as my go to place at the Santa Anita mall
Food is great. Price is very reasonable. Wait time was not that long but it was kind of hard to get a hold of someone to ask for napkins. It is an open food court type of environment and lots of people walking by.

We moved through the wait list fairly quickly for a table for 4 on Black Friday @ 6pm. Total wait time was less than 30 minutes. We were seated along the walkway between Noodle Street and DTF. I really wanted to like this place but I think I don’t like the large, open concept/layout and exposure of this restaurant. I found myself keeping an area on our personal belongings and shopping bags since we felt “exposed” and didn’t want to let our guard down. The service was quick and efficient with the servers on point to take your order and get things moving. The soup noodles came quickly followed by the appetizers which was ok since we just wanted to fill out bellies and get out. The knife cut noodles are nice and chewy which I liked but some may think it’s undercooked since it’s not your normal springy noodle. That kind of where the good parts end. The other parts of the dish were just ok, nothing that knocked my socks off. The beef in the spicy beef noodle soup wasn’t as tender as I’d like and was slightly on the dry side except for the pieces laced with tendon. The tomato sauce ok (my friend did not finish and opted not to take the leftovers home). Without leeks and The signature beef and cilantro, the signature beef noodle soup was left colorless! You do need it!!! Appetizers - cucumber salad was crispy and refreshing but not any better than those found at other restaurants, we found the fried calamari over fried and too chewy and wasn’t dazzled by the scallion pancakes. I think if this was the only place with available seating and I was starving - I’d go back. If not, I’d pass on a return trip.
Water down soup Taste as if imitation powder added more than from real bones and meats

We came across this restaurant while looking for a place to eat and thought we give it a try. I mean, you can’t really go wrong with noodles, right? Well, the food was just okay. We got their Signature Beef Noodles. While the broth was flavorful, the noodles were a bit hard for our liking. And, the scallion pancakes were not very tasty—it was hard and bland. It’s a one and done visit for us.
For a beef noodle soup restaurant, this place has the driest beef ever put into a soup. The beef slices are basically cardboard hard and overcooked till it’s drier than the Sahara. The soup and noodle were good but the beef slices are inedible. We also ordered the braised big plate chicken noodle. The portion is good for one or two and the taste is decent. However, the potatoes in the dish were undercooked and onions were the outer tough layer. Also they used sichuan numbing oil instead of cooking it with the peppercorns so it’s just pure numbing without the sichuan spicy flavor. We also ordered a watermelon smoothie/slush, it was not sweet and half the cup was pulp. Definitely needs some syrup since it’s not peak watermelon season yet. Lamb skewers were pretty good and cooked fresh. Scallion pancakes taste like they quick fried the frozen ones from a supermarket. Service was good. My table was wiped with a dirty dishrag and it smelled rancid but the servers wiped it again with a disinfectant. Prices are good but you’re better off eating anything else in the mall.

The service was particularly mediocre, below average even. Upon sitting down, four different servers came over and asked whether I was ready to order. I was NOT, and would not like to say the same thing over and over again. The entirely Chinese staff sure doesn’t help in the already unwelcoming environment. Among the five or six employees I interacted with, only 2 knew how to say “thank you”, making themselves a laughable and much weaker competitor of Ding Tai Fung next door. The food was surprisingly underwhelming. Not sure how I feel about the beef roll pancake that tasted bland - I frankly never had a Chinese beef pancake that’s actually good. The savory braised chicken noodle, however, came with a quite uninteresting soup base not on par with how a regular Chinese recipe would taste. To make it worse, every single piece of chicken in the noodle was made of chicken breast, a terrible practice I never ever see at any other Chinese restaurant. Oddly I have been to another Noodle St location that’s slightly better overall. Needless to say, I regretted not going to Ding Tai Fung today and absolutely will not be back to this Noodle St location.
There are allergens in the noodle at this restaurant. My skin has turned red after eating it. I also saw the cook wipe his nose with his bare hand and continue preparing food without washing his hands. That is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable.
I gave a very low rating, not because of the taste of the food – the taste was good – but because the portion size was too small. As someone from Qinghai, I came here with high expectations, but I was very disappointed. The price is high and the portions are small; I was truly disappointed. This is an honest review: it's not worth the price.
