Great new addition to the Santa Anita mall. They specialize in different types of matcha desserts and drinks. The ice cream was very soft and tasty, complimenting the matcha well. The prices are a bit high and the staff are friendly. There was a huge line for their new opening.

It is the best matcha soft serve location I’ve ever had in all of LA county. This place is truly underrated. They need to open up more locations all across LA. They are truly the tastiest! Their matcha ice cream tastes so fresh, crisp, and has the perfected amount of matcha wholeness. You can actually taste the high quality ingredients in every bite. Each intake transports you to another universe. If you are a matcha enthusiast, YOU have to visit Matcha Matcha!

It was good but my Sakura milkshake was just fine I didn’t taste the jelly other than that the matcha was good.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The prices are average. I got the drink recommended by the woman behind the counter: Iced soy matcha latte, 25% sweet. It was tasty, not too sweet. I think if I were to get it again, I'd go with almond milk or try whole milk. Next time will have to try the soft serve ice cream.

I love matcha. I want to give this place a 5 and I just may once I try a custom drink, but for me a downside is the lack of alternative milk choices. There really aren't any so its hard for me to really love it. I wish the matchata had a stronger matcha flavor. For me the horchata really came through and it was super sweet. I generally like more cinnamon in my horchata. The soft serve was good and the matcha flavor really came through... so for now 4, maybe later a 5.

This time I got an iced matcha latte which was very tasty! I didn't realize I got 100% sweetness, but it seemed the default and was perfect. I'd like to try it less sweet next time though!

Very flavorful matcha ice cream. I got the choco matcha with Nutella, Oreo, and almonds. Nothing tasted stale, matcha was on point. Would come again!

Great green tea. The seasonal black sesame soft serve flavor was just OK. Waiting for your order can take longer than expected.

Friendly staff, quick and efficient service. Minus one star for the disappointing matcha latte. Color was off, the flavor was weak... Even down the hall at chá Redefine they have a much better matcha latte. The mochi strawberry dessert was really good. Next time I'll give it another try with a different drink choice.

Finally got the chance to try this place out and I loved it! First off, you get the option of 2 free toppings with Yelp check in. You also get a 10% mall employee discount as well (but make sure to ask before paying)! The menu itself is very small and their specialty is, of course, matcha green tea. They have a variety of treats from milk teas to rice crispy treats to even cookies but I decided to stick with their matcha swirl with matcha mochi and almond pocky toppings. The mochi has a bit of a gelatin texture to it rather than the sticky mochi I am quite used to and it was also rather tasteless. Almond pocky isn't really hard to dislike, so I'm glad I liked one of my two toppings. As a huge ice cream lover, I can certainly say that the matcha soft serve was the reason why I was drawn to this place and it certainly did not disappoint. I didn't get a chance to ask about the ingredients but I was glad to see that it didn't have a gritty feeling to it as you would get in most matcha products. The line here, like most of the dining locations in the EAT section of the Santa Anita mall, can get very long very quickly. But!!!! It certainly is worth the wait.

I visited the Matcha Ren in Arcadia, and I ordered the Sakura Foam Matcha Latte. For 6.50 dollars, I was really disappointed by this product. It had almost zero taste of the matcha, it was like they are scarcely distributing the matcha. Better yet, I’m confused on what I’m drinking because I feel like I’m drinking a rose milk tea instead. Also, why are the whisk and the bowl not clean per use? There was matcha remanence there that could been oxidated couple hours ago. I feel really disappointed in this brand as I hoped it would be a good store for matcha.

Hokkaido milk soft-serve was almost sickeningly sweet. It didn't have any milky flavor. I'm not sure if the milk was really Hokkaido milk. The soft-serve was extremely disappointing.

I would like to receive what I pay for and if having to ask for it is offensive to your ego, maybe dont work in the service industry. Yikes, this establishment is not off to a great start.
