Very yummy build-your-own 11-inch pizza joint. Crispy thin crust. Tasty sauce. I think they bake in an open fire brick oven but not 100% sure. Very helpful and friendly staff even 15-min before closing. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for quality pizza in the area. Oh! And they have a gluten-free crust option which can be somewhat hard to find.

I eat here all the time (like once a week, no joke). I usually order through the app, which is fast and easy to use. I get the same thing every time (Red Vine with balsamic drizzle) and 99% of the time it's cooked to perfection. I've been to other Blaze locations where they run out of ingredients or cook the pizza poorly. The AG location can't be beat for friendliness, cleanliness, and timeliness. Their ingredients are always stocked. The store is always clean when I go in to pick it up, and the staff is always super friendly. My pizza is always ready on time, and if I do have to wait it's never longer than two minutes.The blood orange lemonade is also delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

My pizza was delicious and surprisingly had a generous portion of ingredients. It had one of the highest quality sourced ingredients of any restaurant I have ever been to. By ordering online, I cut to the front of the in-store line. My pizza was ready in under 20-minutes. I would definitely recommend this Blaze Pizza location and will be back soon!

Blaze pizza is a pretty well known chain in California. I’ve been to the locations in SLO, Santa Maria and San Diego with great service . This location opened in the last year and is up to the standards of the others! As always, I ordered the Build Your Own pizza and am always pleased with the amount of topping I have to choose from. It’s a personalized size but is always big enough for me to have leftovers. The staff was super friendly, and helped along the assembly line of preparation. I eat plant based, and this location has vegan cheese and vegan meat. The lobby has lots of room for small and large parties with extra seating outside. You can opt to dine in or take to go. Pizza is ready in about 5-10 mins depending on how busy the oven is. I recommend it for sure.

Luv 🩷 me some 🔥 Blaze 🍕! After a torturous day of doing 🧺 laundry (not one load, but TWO) and keeping informed on the latest cable 📰 📺 news firing (See ya 🍋 & Tucker!) I decided to visit the local Blaze establishment. $10.99 for a 11" pizza with unlimited toppings. Still a good deal especially with inflation (primarily caused by corporate greed & 🐖 fat 🐈 CEOs hiking prices just because they CAN). The pizza is good, especially for the price. I got a couple (see pic) for some variety and lunch tomorrow. My main complaint would be the uneven cut jobs on the pizzas. Other than that everything was swell. The three staff that were there were all non native English speakers. And I must say the service was swift and friendly. Can't say as much for the staff at the Blaze Pizza in SLO. Those are mostly college aged native born Americans (privileged perhaps?) that don't seem to have the same work ethic. All in all, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for AG Blaze🌈

Blaze is always good idea. I always get the build your own pizza and basically create a salad on top of my pizza. The staff at this location can get overwhelmed on a busy night but usually they are super patient with me as I go around adding every vegetarian topping possible 😊

The manager here is awesome. Im bummed I cant remember his name but he is one of the reasons I like coming here to eat. He’s always super friendly and of course service oriented but its his attitude and energy that are refreshing and always upbeat - an ingredient often missed in the restaurant business.

The store wasn't busy and the staff was friendly. I gave it 4 stars because I had chosen toppings for half my pizza and the server didn't pay attention to the toppings when cutting. It defeated the purpose of choosing specific toppings for half the pizza.

Solid experience, though I think the person behind the counter couldn't hear me, as I ended up repeating my order several times. Nevertheless, the pizza was good and as fast as I've come to expect from other Blaze locations.

I have had very good service, and the pizza is pretty good. Martin was my server today and I appreciated that he was helpful and friendly. The only small comment I would make, and it did not happen today, is I REALLY don't like the very loud WELCOME you hear upon entering. It isnt genuine when you tell employees to do it!

Didn't go during a rush, but there was only one employee in the building for a half dozen customers. It took 45 minutes to order and get our food.

Bargain pizza! The original is thin pizza. You pick the toppings. My friend said it looks like a NY style thin pizza. I had a two topping pizza. Paid $12+ for it. No drink. I should have gone to In & Out..

We had a delivery on a Friday afternoon... got a large meatball sausage and garlic, a 11" pepp sausage onion and breadsticks. C'mon guys you can do better than this! The large pizza had no sauce no cheese ultra skimped sausage, meatball huh? The garlic was In 4 clumps on 3 slices, so it was diy on the garlic. The crust? Not so much. Like you left out the yeast or something. For the money, a poor choice! You get more pizza and more toppings at Little Cesar's 🙄 than here!

Nobody knows what they're doing at this location... I placed an order right when I got there and waited 8 minutes for someone to start building the pizza and nobody ever came we end up walking out.... But the person who took our order in the 1st place continue to take orders even though they were backing up not a very smart business plan stay away from this place

Blaze Owners/Managers - Stop Telling Your Employees to SKIMP on Toppings when the patron/customer is in-store doing a Build Your Own! We are tired of the employee's attitudes when asking for more toppings! Been going to the AG store since it opened, and both of the "shorter" female managers, and one tall male manager-type constantly pressure the patrons to "move on to the next topping" as quick as possible (this is over the last several years). After talking with a few of the less annoying employees (not the managers), we were told they are forced/trained to do this by management/ownership to lower costs, and are reprimanded if they don't. No matter how many times I would state "lots more pepperoni please" or "cover the entire pizza" they literally just put 2-3 more pieces of "x-topping" on the pizza, and then say "what next," with lots of attitude, it's ridiculous. They won't even look you in the eye, but rather grumble under breath (this has happened numerous times). You can also tell the "nice employees" hate working there, and don't last long, this says a lot about how the place is managed, quite sad. My son doesn't like going there any more because he feels guilty to ask for more toppings. It shouldn't be called a "Build Your Own" pizza, but rather a "Come Get An Attitude From Us" pizza, if you ask for more than 6 pieces of pepperoni. Feels like every time I go into the restaurant, I must prepare for a battle-of-the-wils, and attitudes. Rather than such resistance, it should be "would you like more of x-topping" wonderful customer? Or, is that enough of x-topping guy that keeps us in business. Yep, some mild sarcasm there, but you get the idea. O, and I rarely write negative reviews, but have been taking both of my boys to this place for years, about every-other week, so it is sad to think we will stop. If you are out there Blaze Owners/Managers, please fix this problem asap. I will change the review if the attitude stops over the next several visits, assuming we keep going.

First time at this location and one of the ladies (the short one) had a bad attitude towards my kids who were asking for dressing. We will not come back to this location ever.

I ordered online and my credit card charged. I have never received a delivery. I tried to contact them but every time they hung up the call. Hope they will refund back to me. Before ordering contact them first. Very disappointed with the place.

Went to last night, a Monday night and I waited 40 minutes to give my order. The employees were so busy talking to the teenagers in the store that they took their time making the pizzas, taking orders and paying. I was so outraged, but I didn't have a choice since my grandson was patiently waiting for pizza. The pizza was good, but teenager employees need to realize that all customers need to be serviced.

Staff was not welcoming at all. Spoke to Mgr and received the same treatment. We will not come back to this location ever. I'd recommend customer service training for the older staff members especially.

It was one of the worst places I visit in a long time😠. They took forever to take our order and there was only like three people in front of me and it took 30mins🕜 just to get to me😵. Once it was my turn they were so rude didnt apologize for the wait or even care to give good customer service😡. AND!!!! That wasnt even the worst part. 5/14/2022 8:30pm-9:00pm. I used to go to this place, but there was incidents were one employee threw my daughter's pizza on the floor because he put on the wrong topping. They were so mean, we went back to tell them they have to treat us with friendliness. Now tonight, my son ordered high-rise dough on his pizza like he usually does and the dough was raw. We called to try to just let them know, because we still want to have a good relationship with them, but we couldn't get connected to their phone. Then we went online if we could get the information to them because we live here and we want to make sure that we have a good relationship with them. But there was no place get to complain to them online, that is why have to write the complaint through this online review. We've been living in this community for a long time and we want to make sure our relationship with people in this community is fine as well as workers in restaurants. We do think that this kind of unfair treatment can not be stopped no matter how much we're kind to others we know it may not change everyone's bad attitude but we think it is our responsibility to be kind and tell them how we feel when we are treated unfairly. Thank you.

I went in on October 31st 2024 into the Arroyo Grande location in California ordered build my own I asked for extra cheese she's seriously put like two little pieces I got pepperoni I asked if I can have extra pepperoni she said no and I gave her a look and she put one more pepperoni so that's all I can do I asked for sausage and I asked if I could have extra she said no cuz I got a pepperoni and that's why I pay extra for build your own but yet I can't build my own and I've tried to call every phone number I possibly can find and no one answers the phone at the store or the so-called phone number that you have listed for your corporate office

What a bunch of fools, wouldn't take an order over the phone, guess they're not hurtin for biz, but they'll never get mine.

When I first got into Blaze my husband requested to change the cheese on his salad & the employee walked over and asked the manager Laura on duty and she said no. When the employee making the pizzas was helping us he was very rude & when we asked for a little extra toppings he began to Place them on the pizza one by one. He had a poor attitude and would not look up the whole time when asking us questions. We then had to wait for the manager to ring us up and she was rude as well what is going on with this place. We are regulars and we always come here. Blaze you guys need to do better and be better. Be more friendly and maybe you would have a lot more business. Sad that Laura is a manager she also has a poor attitude and she should be leading by example no wonder why the employees are the way they are.

White Top. One lonely basil leaf torn into tiny pieces for a whole 11 inch pie. I count 11 tiny pieces of chicken, the barest mist of barbecue sauce. White Sauce not very good or too thin to detect. I should have put a spoon in frame for scale, as my camera makes it look good. Staff rebuffed ask to build-your-own.

Horrible service and old rotten toppings. 45 min and counting. They have a line of at least 10 people but haven't taken one order in 20 mins because they stopped serving the people in the restaurant to fulfill online orders. As we're waiting I see the toppings are old and wilted. See a photo of the spinach which is both wilted and starting to rot and turning yellow. Also note: they no longer serve customer salads. PASS!

So I've been visiting blaze Pizza all over the state and never had such a terrible experience as today at the arroyo grande location next to Walmart between the briscoe exit and the oak Park exit I wouldn't go back there ever again as long as that manager is employed there. She said her name was Alejandra...She is probably the worst customer service personnel I have ever received. It's unfortunate that the manager of this business has no understanding or ability to understand or speak English. Sad day for this business. Didn't even get the correct title for the correct drink. .... So sad!!!!! And the bad thing is the management said the same apology response without putting any thought or probably not even reading just sending a generic response to all the tried to enlighten them on what's really happening in the store .... Same generic response no thought put in it or sincerity..... Can we get a new manager or two

Employees refused to cater to food allergies, even saying "we don't do that" and made excuses. We specifically have a dairy allergy. They only changed their gloves, but wouldn't get spare buckets of toppings because the current buckets of toppings were covered in pieces cheese. This is NOT safe. Highly do NOT recommend going to this Blaze if you have any allergies.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. My family and I spent over $150, yet we were told we’d be charged extra for a single side of ranch dressing. It’s not about the cost, it’s about the principle and how customers are treated. The manager’s attitude was dismissive and condescending, which is unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. If this is how management interacts with guests, it's hard to believe the rest of the team is being led by a better standard. This experience reflects poorly on the entire company, and the higher-ups should seriously reevaluate who they’ve entrusted to represent their brand.

Worst pizza establishment I have ever been to. Took 20 minutes to place my order and it wasn't even busy. Staff behind the counter were all speaking Spanish. Never greeted the customers. They kept putting my order behind others who came after me, until I said something. I had a coupon for a free pizza and when it came time to pay, the woman working the register gave me a nasty look when I presented the coupon. Really?? I'm glad I didn't have to pay for this awful experience. The pizza was mediocre at best.

If I wanted a standard pizza that I can’t customize, I will go somewhere and pay for it; I pay for the ability to BUILD MY OWN PIZZA. When I noticed I was being charged for a two topping they said it was because I asked for “too much cheese”. I agreed to pay for one good/service and then was forced to pay for a different one and was placed in a position where I felt like I didn’t have a choice; the pizza was already in the oven, it was late, and the kids were hungry. Needless to say, I will never give another penny to this dishonest and manipulative company. I work too hard to throw away my hard-earned money on companies who don’t care about their customers. And I follow through with it what I say. There are 2 companies in SLO who treated me and my family poorly in 2021, I said I would never give them a penny, and I have never even set foot in them since. So congratulations, Blaze. You have discovered a brilliant business strategy; don’t focus on making the customer happy by making sure that they can build a pizza to their satisfaction and budget accordingly for extra ingredients each month. Instead, do whatever it takes to save 50 cents per customer (if that!) on the amount of cheese used and try to charge people more if you can get away without them noticing; if they do notice, manipulate them so that they feel pressured and feel like they don’t have a choice. Also, make it so awkward and difficult for them to customize their pizza that they just don’t ask anymore and just accept the skimpy amount of toppings that are allotted. it will totally make up for the hundreds of dollars from losing that customer for life. Truly genius. Customers will come back again and again to waste their money on something they can get for cheaper somewhere else, especially when they are treated so wonderfully (sarcasm here, by the way). And for the record, the amount of cheese was less than (and more expensive than!) pretty much any standard cheese pizza from another restaurant where you DON’T have the option to customize. Costco, Fatte’s, Domino’s, and Little Caesars all fall into this category, to name a few. Seriously, if they just made us happy with our pizzas and didn’t give us grief, they would make hundreds to thousands of dollars on us alone, let alone all the people I would tell to go here. Instead, they have opted for getting zero business from me and everyone I talk to about this location. Extremely foolish business decision in my opinion but to each their own, I guess. If I was a business owner, I would at least attempt to make my customers happy because I would want them to come back and bring their friends and family and I would want them to do so for YEARS! Even if you hate your customers for some reason and only care about money, you should still treat your customers amazingly to their face because THAT’S good business, just from a financial standpoint! They’ll come back and you will make way more money! I never understand companies who can’t/won’t figure this out. I love the taste of our pizza when we get to make it just how we like it. But it’s no longer worth the awkward and wearying process to get it. This last trip was the last straw. It’s not about the money; it’s the principle and the fact that they are willing to go as far as stealing from customers without informing them and without their consent just to try and make a buck. Well, you will no longer make a buck from me, my family, my friends, and hopefully every single person who reads this.

There are 2 companies in SLO who treated me and my family poorly in 2021, I said I would never give them a penny, and I have never even set foot in them since. So congratulations, Blaze. You have discovered a brilliant business strategy; don’t focus on making the customer happy by making sure that they can build a pizza to their satisfaction and budget accordingly for extra ingredients each month. Instead, do whatever it takes to save 50 cents per customer (if that!) on the amount of cheese used and try to charge people more if you can get away without them noticing; if they do notice, manipulate them so that they feel pressured and feel like they don’t have a choice. Also, make it so awkward and difficult for them to customize their pizza that they just don’t ask anymore and just accept the skimpy amount of toppings that are allotted. it will totally make up for the hundreds of dollars from losing that customer for life. Truly genius. Customers will come back again and again to waste their money on something they can get for cheaper somewhere else, especially when they are treated so wonderfully (sarcasm here, by the way). And for the record, the amount of cheese was less than (and more expensive than!) pretty much any standard cheese pizza from another restaurant where you DON’T have the option to customize. Costco, Fatte’s, Domino’s, and Little Caesars all fall into this category, to name a few. Seriously, if they just made us happy with our pizzas and didn’t give us grief, they would make hundreds to thousands of dollars on us alone, let alone all the people I would tell to go here. Instead, they have opted for getting zero business from me and everyone I talk to about this location. Extremely foolish business decision in my opinion but to each their own, I guess. If I was a business owner, I would at least attempt to make my customers happy because I would want them to come back and bring their friends and family and I would want them to do so for YEARS! Even if you hate your customers for some reason and only care about money, you should still treat your customers amazingly to their face because THAT’S good business, just from a financial standpoint! They’ll come back and you will make way more money! I never understand companies who can’t/won’t figure this out. I love the taste of our pizza when we get to make it just how we like it. But it’s no longer worth the awkward and wearying process to get it. This last trip was the last straw. It’s not about the money; it’s the principle and the fact that they are willing to go as far as stealing from customers without informing them and without their consent just to try and make a buck. Well, you will no longer make a buck from me, my family, my friends, and hopefully every single person who reads this.

No wonder why this place is empty on Saturday night. We are here for built your own pizza. We decided to try built your own pizza. They don't even put topping or sauce properly. I asked for extra sauce and cheese and guys say I can only do one scoop while other locations never said anything like that.

Got all the way back home only to realize I was given the wrong pizza even though it was correct on the label sticker. I’m lactose intolerant and do not eat meat for religious reasons. This pizza had dairy cheese, bacon and chicken on it. Had I not eaten here before, I may have not realized it until I took a bite which would literally make me sick. Not cool. Y’all need to hire competent staff. This is unacceptable.

Asked for more cheese on the pizza and got told that this isn't an all you can eat establishment. The manager/owner is very rude and disrespectful would not recommend coming here absolutely disrespectful staff. Paid for 4 ranches and had to argue and show my receipt and manager had to check his system till he finally gave me the ranch. In and Out across the parking is the way to go.

Been here about 15 times. First off the 2 women working here are rude. Never smile, never greet customers EVER. They also don’t 100% understand English, they have ended up putting random toppings on the no one even asked for. They take one piece of artichoke heart and rip it into pieces and spread all over the pizza. Such a rip off. This place needs serious corporate intervention!

Dude at the front was super helpful and gave me a glove chance for my celiac disease. When I told the woman by the oven I had an allergy and needed a glove change, she refused. I also asked for the pizza to be cooked a bit longer. She immediately turned around and took it out. When I asked why she did that, she grabbed the pizza with her contaminated gloves to show me how done it was. Disgusting behaviour, fire this employee. The dude with the mask was awesome though.

I asked for more more cheese on top and and told no asked for mushrooms and didn't get those either. This was all on a build your own! Horrible customer service never coming back. Extremely rude employee, they don’t cater to food allergies and refuse to replace food that has been contaminated
