Cheap happy hour and free hot dogs!
Great neighborhood bar with friendly staff
It really is like a jersey shore bar, but in Queens.
Guinness on tap, and always a great bartender.

When in Astoria it's a Must Go To !
I’m an American living in the uk and love a good bar when I return home. Had a great time here!!
Nice place to watch Astoria go by. Reasonably priced during happy hour and a pretty good vibe all around.
Great drinks, fun vibe. It's divey and kitschy but in a very good way.
A bit crowded on Fridays, neat gimmick with the free hot dogs with every drink, and average nyc drink prices
Chill laid-back bar , with good attention. Great local people
Friendly bartenders, great service, strict about vaccination cards, good beer selection
Nice place, good happy hour. Check out the patio
Great bar! Fun atmosphere and friendly staff
I've never seen napkins thrown with such grace, great bartenders.
Cool vibe. Good music. AWESOME bar staff
Great happy hour, surprising spacious backyard, great bartenders!

Fun bar with good drinks and good happy hour deals
Good beer selection, chill vibe, friendly bartenders.
Awesome bar - cool, friendly and Mike H, was awesome.
Mid 2000s PacSun playlist, yummy popcorn.
Great specialty cocktails and beers on tap.
Great bartenders, good drinks.
Low key bar with a good beer and drink selection
Had a brief medical emergency here last night. I felt extremely embarrassed, staff was gracious and kind about the situation and helped me out. Too embarrassed to go back soon but highly recommend for the community and thank you again to staff!
Good drinks, great atmosphere, and Gabe and David are the best bartenders in Queens. Can't miss music bingo on Tuesday nights.
My favorite local bar. Unpretentious, great music always, and you can come in at any age and feel welcome.
Come every Tuesday for Drag Queen Bingo and have made a bunch of friends. Love all the bar staff too, all very nice and very fun! Love this bar
Cool new spot. Feels like Judy Punch only on Broadway instead of 30th Avenue. The Jukebox here is as good as any in Astoria and the sound quality is good.
One of the best spots on bway! When I tell you the vibe is always right! Drinks on point! And the ppl you meet will leave a lasting impression! Best place!
Great place to grab a drink - used to love playing the Pacman machine in the back, but they just increased the price , kind of a bummer
Its comfortable bar with a good atmosphere a good crowd no nasty comfrontational people like some bars and great AC everyone should give it a try..
Great bar! Very friendly staff!
Chill bar to go with a friend or whatever. Limited space. Good music. Had beers for the night. Can't complain, deff coming back here again!
Good selection of craft beer, free hot dog with every drink during happy hour. Great atmosphere.
Nice ambience with old school rock vibe pretty laid back and chill if you want to relax wotha brew and have good convo with fellow drinkers
Fantastic atmosphere, great music, friendly service and a nice collection of Kentucky burbons... I love it! :)
Great happy hour deals and the best bartenders. Also free hot dogs during HH.
Our bartender, John was great, I love the atmosphere and the location... Would recommend!!!
Thank you for understanding there are other types of beers besides IPAs. Cool bar reminds me of Asbury Park.
They got me through the first wave with their walk up window while I was raising a 3 month old puppy. 5 stars.
Always a great pub to go to at any time. Feels a bit like Cheers. Love it!
Cutest bartender and met the nicest people, parking meter wasn't working , got a ticket, but worth it, Happy New year
Nice new bar in the hood. Free Hot Dogs eith a drink during Happy Hour!
This is a fun place to hang out and meet the local crowd. Funny thing is the theme. This bar has an "Asbury Park" NJ theme. Their cocktail concoctions are pretty good and they have 10 different taps with beers from Jersey, NY, and even PA. Also there is one arcade game (shuffle board bowling) The bartenders and jukebox are awesome.
Happy Hour is gold. Nice bartenders and popcorn is always available for your munchies.
Love this place, moved in May in the area.. love this bar combines Brooklyn, dive, elegant together. Winner of trivia two weeks in a row come challenge team intense scoregasm
Quick and fast service from the bartenders for a Saturday night past 12am. I enjoyed the atmosphere thoroughly as I am very Manhattan centric, and it was great to check out a place in Astoria where adults like myself like to go to. I would absolutely come back again.
$5 wine for happy hour 4-7pm. Free popcorn and hot dogs. Backyard patio with lots of seating.
Madam Marie's is my happy place - where the staff are warm and welcoming. The beer selection is always on point, ice-cold, perfectly poured, and wetter than an otter’s pocket! Big shoutout to Dorothy, who always brings the good vibes on Wednesdays and Fridays! (And young Danny who works his magic on the BlackStone on a Friday evening out back in the yard) The cocktails are solid too, so you can't go wrong there either. Overall, Madam Marie's is the perfect spot to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and enjoy some quality service. Five stars from this happy reviewer. Peace..
If you’re looking for a fantastic neighborhood bar experience, Madame Marie’s is the place to be. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and it only got better from there. Kyle is the epitome of what a great neighborhood bartender should be—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. He didn’t just take our orders; he made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. His efficiency and care made the experience seamless, and his drink recommendations were spot on. We’ve been to a handful of bars in the area, and this one stands out by far. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, and the service is unmatched. We can’t wait to come back and make this our go-to spot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional bar experience! Cheers, Madame Marie's—see you soon!
Cute little dive bar. It doesn't have all the amenities, but it's local and has reasonably priced beer! What more could you need! The outdoor area in the back is also nice when you want some more breathing room.
Yes! For me, it’s a brilliant bar. They have Guinness on tap, an Irish Bartender (Aaron) who is the perfect balance of friendly, talkative while knowing when to stop. The crowd when I was there was everything I love about Astoria, meaning, young, older, friendly, different cultures… meaning… Queens. I felt really welcomed and comfortable while I had a respite, alone. An awesome Queens bar.
This place is amazing. Great selection of beer on tap with happy hour everyday until 7pm>$5 16oz drafts. Cool back area with outdoor seating. The bartender was cool AF! Definitely will be back! Plus free popcorn!
Great spot for happy hour. Yes, even on Fridays! Service was great. Chill vibe. They had a back patio area that was a nice option too with plenty of seating. Lots of seating inside too. $5 wines, beer and well drinks. Free popcorn, lol. Saw some dudes getting bowl after bowl! We had to try it… comes with a sprinkle of what seems to be Old Bay. Totally worth it to come for HH.
I literally live across the street and I'm dumbfounded as to why I don't come here enough. Best service, casual, no BS, and a digital jukebox. What more can one ask for? The bartenders are also very friendly. Feel free to chat them up if they're not too busy. A spotlight on Aaron! Really cool guy! Oh, and a friggin taco truck right in front. Boom goes the dynamite. 🧨
A really good happy hour crowd with happy hour pricing till 8pm. A very good selection of craft beer and cocktails. The bartenders are very personable and know their stuff. Judy and Punch is the sister bar to this so you might see them in either bar on any given night. Highly recommend both establishments!
Cute trendy, Astoria is looking like Bk lately.
My neighborhood go-to bar. Happy hour, good music, and chill vibes. What else could you ask for?
Go for Paul great bartender. HH is good here awesome crowd
Not perfect, but they have nice service and good food.
Nice bar to visit...busy but not crowded Friday night...good choice for a drink in this part of new york
Unpretentious bar where it looks like lots of locals hang out. Decent place. Free popcorn with bay seasoning.
Good bar. Friendly staff. Just the music is really angry lol. Who is controlling the damn jukebox ?
Cozy place with cheap drinks and food before 8pm. Not so many seats and tables so it can get crowded fast. There is a juke box but the management controls the music. Fun if you are not keen on having a crazy night out.
Located in Astoria, this bar has a great sense of style and ambience, with a Lil bit of everything for everyone!. Great selection of drinks at good prices for the area and an arcade machine for the solo patron. While the Men's bathroom may be a Lil small, the fact that's located in walking distance of good restaurants and a CVS makes up for that.
Went here for the first time with my roommate. She has been before and said it’s great! You can pay to play your own music which is pretty cool. The vibe and place reminded me of when I was back in college in buffalo. I would definitely go back.
Good bartender..no food...
Nothing special about this bar. Just like any bar in Astoria. Has a coney island theme. Some games in the back. Not to keen on going back to this bar.
Not the most consistent with their theme and drinks are on the high-average side, but q decent neighborhood place
It was an okay place. They have limited choices in beer and pretty expensive prices, even for the area. I would not recommend this place for a quick drink.
I'll stay neutral on this bar/location. I came here for an after party from our holiday Christmas gathering. My not so favorite about the location was the music played. You just need to mix it up and get out of the norm of the same sound. DJ, take a look at the crowd and just give us something different from time to time. Drinks can also be of better quality, a little stronger. That makes the crowd want to stay longer. This was recommend by one of my coworkers, I know I won't be going back. That's just my opinion from my first visit here.
Terrible trivia. Muffled speaker. Host doesn’t project his voice or wait for people to stop speaking before moving on to the next question.
I live in the area and pass by this bar all the time. We stopped in randomly on a Friday night with friends. The place was okay. Huge bummer that they didn’t serve food as we all wanted some finger food so left quickly. Music was good enough but varied too much between genres. There was a lady at the bar that was kind of off putting- not entirely rude but visibly standoffish which didn’t feel great. Didn’t leave a good enough impression to give it another try.
Two male bartenders had a very negative vibe. We didn’t ask for the moon but they had attitude the entire night. Won’t ever return. It’s a not a 5 star venue. It’s a run of the mill bar in Astoria no one will ever remember. I’ve been here before and staff are usually good so won’t paint a wide brush.
It's a shame. This bar has a nice vibe and environment. Unfortunately the service is terrible when the short, chubby guy is behind the bar. He's always too busy mingling with his buddies, instead of serving and attending to customers. Now I look through the window first to see who is working before I decide to step in. Get it together people of Madam. If you put the business first, you can't go wrong.
The bartender with the accent is a racist. I never want to go in again.
Cool awesome bar but please fix the smell in that men’s bathroom! It smells ATROCIOUS! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Bartender literally asked for a higher tip. He literally said “you guys did this last time too” and “I’m not doing this for free”. I didn’t know it was mandatory to tip a high amount apparently. Guy was acting like he doesn’t get paid to work. Bring back the Irish guy cause this bartender is not it.
Balding bartender got upset that I gave him a four dollar tip after serving me two beers... if I asked for maybe another 2 then sure I get it. Either ways I tipped another 4 dollars for the needy. Madam Marie's used to be a pretty chill spot till we had someone with an insecure ego serving drinks lol
RACIST AND HOMOPHOBIC I’m honestly disgusted by the fact that this establishment is still in business in a very liberal and open minded community like Astoria. Last night I was sitting at the bar grabbing some drinks with a friend. A group behind us passive aggressively tried to get us to move (as they wanted a seat at the bar). After ignoring the multiple attempts and trying to brush it aside without causing a scene, my friend and I decided the bar was getting a little too loud and that we would go somewhere else. As I was leaving, a gay slur was used on me by the girl in the group, to which I stopped and said to the girl VERY calmly “you know you don’t have to be rude about wanting a seat at the bar”. I’m not sure who did it, but suddenly I have a drink thrown at me, a bunch of guys crowding me telling me to “calm down and back off”, and then being forcefully removed from the bar by the bouncer. Confused, appalled, angry... I was SHOCKED that this happened, all within a minute. The bartender who was helping me the entire night came out and asked what happened, and when I explained to him the situation, all he said was “well that’s not what I saw, so sorry you’ll need to leave”. In fact, he was laughing and thought the entire situation was funny. I always thought this bar was a great place to grab a quick drink in the area, however, if you are a person of color or a member of the LGBTQIA community... know that you are walking into an establishment that shows ZERO support of who you are.
I have to say it the first time I like the bar but then I came back again.... so that day l guees I was tired so I closed my eyes for a moment so the bartender came with an attitude saying you got to go home if your going to sleep so I don't think I'm coming back in part was my fault but there's is always a way of saying things
Mike the bartender is mad rude, his drinks are diluted and he wants to charge for less ice requested. He made the experience as worst as possible.
Female bar tender turns off the juke box to play her personal music, plus watches me pay for music and doesnt acknowledge me cause she was entertained bye a personal friend, so when I realized the joke box was lowered I asked her why isnt my songs playing and she said oh my bad I forgot my radio was playing. Then closes early cause I was upset about the music then offers a free drink but never provides the drink or my money back for the joke box, I think this women is racist cause my 2 friends and I who are not caucasian felt the same treatment! Cant re-call her name but she was a slim blonde.
