Hands down the best spot for pizza in Astoria if not NYC. The quality is amazing, the prices are good and the store is neat and pretty. The staff is always friendly and ready to serve. Also I delivered from them and it was on time and the got the order perfect. Real worth checking out, you won’t regret it.

Retro Pizza is a place that truly lives up to its name! From the red glow of the storefront sign to the classic interior with the iconic posters, the aesthetics matched the awesome taste of nostalgia. Regular cheese slice I had for $3 was hella worth it as every bite had a satisfying crunch, "heartful" sauce, and a warmth like going back to the old days. The seasoning on top was the friendly staff who prepared the food! (Thank you very much for making my night 😄) Definitely recommend to anyone who happens to be around Ditmars Blvd on the N & W trains!

One of the best, no frills pizza spots not only in the neighborhood but in the city. Seriously - they do NYC proud! Every time it has been 10/10 (I love their mushroom slices), and everyone there is super kind. It’s also going to be best eaten fresh, obvi!!

Retro pizza is by far the best pizza in astoria , they are sooo reasonably priced , extremely delicious and so kind. I have ordered catering twice from them for a bridal shower and for my church. People talked about the chicken francese for DAYSSSS. A real gem in astoria, for real.

23.MAR.2021 THIS IS THE BEST TASTING PIZZA I'VE TASTED AROUND THIS AREA. Staff is very nice big selection of pizza and has a retro look inside. we sat outside do the covid but they had indoor dining available as of this writing. I tried their barbecue pizza and pepperoni pizza and they were both delicious. and the prices weren't that bad either very cheap according to other pizzerias around town. Ordered two slices of white and a ham calzone. Slides were fine, ham calzone for the most part as well. A little small for the cost but fine, I can understand with rent as high as it is. Calzone a bit undercooked but over all it was good. The service though was very good and friendly. That has to matter for something.

The pizza is okay in our opinion , it unfortunately doesn’t not taste authentic. The pizza was not crispy, the crust was very chewy and the sauce was a little too sweet.

I had Retro deliver and they keep getting worse with their portions. A few months ago this order for Ravioli filled up this container. Now it is literally half the container with only 6 Ravioli. Same price $12.50. Soon it will be 2 Ravioli for $13.50. Don't get me wrong, the food here is great. Friendly staff.

Ordered delivery and was disappointed in the quality of food. The garlic knots were cold, the slices of pizza are significantly thinner, and the cheese fries had 3 pieces of sliced cheese were cold/not melted properly. We used to love this place it’s disappointing to see the low quality of food now.

One of the worst pies I have ever tasted. I recently ordered from here because of positive reviews I saw on Uber Eats. Pizza sauce tasted almost as if they had used ketchup instead. Garlic knots burnt. This is one of the worst pizzas I have ever had in my life. never have I thrown something out and ordered McDonald’s right after before. I would give them zero stars if I could

I was really disappointed with my visit. The cashier Lady was coughing into her hands, and I assumed she was handling cash before touching the food—moving pizzas around without gloves or using utensils. It was very off-putting and made me question the cleanliness of the place. While the pizza itself isn’t bad, witnessing this really turned me off from coming back. It gives the impression that they have no regard for hygiene when handling food. On top of that, the tables are always dirty when we visit. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Got home on a Saturday night from a dinner party that didn’t really have any food and decided I wanted pizza (pizza is a once every two or three months thing for me). I usually get Andrew Belluci’s or Grand Ave but wanted to try something new. The pizza was awful—floppy and greasy. I got a buffalo chicken slice and a vodka slice for later as well as an Italian sausage roll. The roll was ok. Last time I’ll order from this place.
