$7.50 for two plain slices and a can of soda? A rare and GREATLY appreciated thing. And there is no cost in quality for that pricing. It's a classic NY slice. Not thin, and fair amount of cheese and sauce. Excellent choice for an inexpensive lunch.

The food at Salerno's is better than it has any right to be. It is a modest place with a few seats indoors and out and a menu with both Italian and Mexican food. The pizza rivals even the most well known spots in Astoria, and they always have the most options for toppings. Whatever you want, they'll prepare it. And the tacos, quesadillas, burritos... oh my god... out of this world! If you can't decide what you want, ask them what they recommend but really you can't go wrong. I would also like to say my order is always right and it is definitely worth calling and ordering directly from the restaurant to avoid only ordering fees. Just note that even though they take cards with Seamless and in-person orders, delivery orders over the phone require cash. Enjoy!

I can only speak for the chicken cutlet torta (pollo milanesa) and IT'S BOMB.COM.

got the chorizo and lengua tacos per robert sistema's recommendation. the chorizo is legitimately better than most LA taco spots that tend to idly overcook the sausage on their grills. these are made to order and the edges of the tortillas are lightly crispy which brings them to life. the lengua had an extra charge (not listed on menu but explained by cashier), and i wouldn't get them in a taco, but i wouldn't mind trying them in a quesadilla next time.

Amazing owners and delicious food! From the smiles that greet you when you enter the place, to the delicious pizza, sandwiches and platters, the experience at this place is what one can wish for. Pick up orders are super fast, and prices very reasonable.

Just excellent food, not matter what I try,pizza, sandwiches or my favorite The Hanging Steak or the authentic Mexican Tacos, generous portion and the price is more that fear. Delivery according with a hungry costumer, means fast. I highly recommend.

Great pizza (best in a miles radius) and dominican food. Get a large pie and some of their tortas on the side. Their service is also great. I've been there 2-3 times in person and they already recognize me when I make pickups.

This place is insane. The menu covers 8 different types of food from Italian to Dim Sum. Not really, they don’t serve dim sum, but they do have great Mexican food as well, and the prices are a steal for the amount of food you get.

All of the steak was really tough and extremely hard to chew, leaving only one small chicken taco for each of us for dinner. The tortilla chips that came with the burrito was also very stale and hard to chew. The only reason I gave an extra star was the seasoning was very good. But I don't think we'll order from here again.

Misleading pricing. Ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was $6 extra denoted in small print at the bottom of the menu.

Meatballs were just ok . However the pizza has no point being on the menu : cheese has no taste , sauce no taste, pepperoni, veggies . Simply no flavor not even a touch of simple seasoning.

A pickup order took over 30 minutes for a whole pizza that tasted like it sat out all day and then got reheated.

Do not order from this place. HORRIBLE. The pizza is hard and super greasy. And this is how they deliver their food…..

The guy at the counter said $12.35 He charged my credit card and gave me my credit card but no receipt. I asked him for my receipt and the total was $14.09 I asked him where is the sign that said additional fee if paying by credit card? He could not answer me. Sneaky as hell. If you go there ask for a receipt. The first time I went my daughter pay with her credit card and he also/the same guy did not give her a receipt. I had to tell my daughter to go to the counter and ask for a receipt. I did not see the additional fee because she was paying for me and she just put the receipt away. MANAGER/S IF you are reading this, make all the guys behind the counter give receipts to customers. I will never buy anything there anymore. Sneaky business.
