A great italian spot by Ditmars. The service was great and staff was friendly. The food came out fast and was very good. My wife and I ordered the octopus for appetizer and a couple pizzas and pasta to try. The flavor was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned perfectly. Definitely go try this spot it is worth it.
Food is absolutely out of this world. Visited twice within 3 days! Every single thing so fresh so flavorful. Their Chive Spaghetti with garlic and olive oil so simple but soooo good. Vodka Pizza incredible. My fav by far is their green olive tapenade. Can’t wait to come back
Walked in on a Saturday evening for dinner with no reservations (it is walk-in only), and immediately were seated in the corner bench by the wood-fire oven. Always pleasant greetings from the host and service teams. We went for the Mortadella (one of my faves) and for the first time tried the Sausage pizza. The sausage pizza was not overpowered with sausage or pesto, all were in perfect balance with the cherry tomatoes. Mortadella pizza delicious, love that they toast the pistachios! Delicious fluffy crust, thin, love the pizza! Also tried the Chive Spaghetti, which was different, not too much flavor but more cheese can fix that. The stars for me are the pizzas, they don't miss on ANY of their pizzas. Service is always pleasant, professional and so fast. Staff is very attentive without making you feel rushed. Always a neighborhood goodie!
I really loved this spot! If you’re looking for great flavors, fresh ingredients, and a nice time, you should come here. Out of all the pizza I’ve tried in Astoria, nothing compares to Figlia!! Lots of delicious appetizers and great pizza selections. The octopus was SO good. Most places overcook it but here it was soft, juicy, yet had that nice char from the grill. The pizzas were so tasty and yummy!!
Had such a great experience at Figlia! The grilled octopus was delicious, the pasta radiatore con salsiccia was really good (but the mushroom pizza might’ve stolen the show). Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the bartender Luiz was super kind and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!
the food was amazing, we loved the pizza so much! we tried their seasonal one. they have dipping spreads we fried the feta one which i loved. perfect for crust dipping ✨ the octupas was great too. the atmoshere is chill, a cute neighbourhood restaurant. its nice to walk around as well.
Definitely the best Neopolitan pizza in Astoria, and the best Amatriciana I have ever had. The owner Ricardo is an ubermensch - super generous and friendly, and Luis behind the bar is always so welcoming and engaging - and he makes some killer cocktails. The margherita pizza is absolutely perfect - the dough is perfectly seasoned and never comes out floppy or soggy. The sauce is light and fresh. The balance of ingredients couldn’t be better. The cacio e pepe pizza is definitely worth trying. The amatriciana and radiatore pastas are amazing but all the pastas are delicious. The grilled octopus rivals any Greek restaurant in Astoria. The meatballs melt in your mouth. HIGHLY recommended!
Very good service and all staff is helpful and friendly. Delicious food and cocktail. Most of all, very nice environment for dinning either you are on your own or on a date or with friends. It’s definitely a nice hidden gem in the neighborhood. Recommend!
Get the Nduja & burrata pizza!! It was incredible! Love the fresh juicy tomato sauce with the spiciness from the sausage spread, sweetness from the onions, olives and garlic, basils and burrata. And it was not greasy at all! So good!!! Rigatoni bolognese was tasty, and fresh, not overcooked. Service was great too. Definitely coming back for more!
Figlia is hands-down my favorite local spot. From the first sip of the Purple Rain cocktail to the last bite of the cacio e pepperoni pizza, I’m completely obsessed. The salads & pastas are always fresh, flavorful, and made with so much care. And the staff? They treat us like family every time we come in. It’s one of those rare places that just gets it right—every single time. Love you guys!
I love food but always have a hard time finding places that surprise me. This place was surprising, the dough is ridiculous. The 2 day ferment with the specialty blend is amazing. It creates a dough that is light but crunchy. However not too crunchy. Any restaurant that would delay an opening because the dough wasn't ready is serious about amazing food. The arugula salad was fantastic, with its subtle prosecco dressing and toasted pistachios, but the star was definitely the pizza with a spicy sausage and burrito. It's an unbelievable restaurant with a passionate owner an amazing combination.
Had a wonderful experience at Figlia, a charming neo-Neapolitan gem. The cozy ambiance, coupled with the warm and attentive service, created a lovely atmosphere for a special date night. The flavors were authentic and the quality of the ingredients was undeniable. We most certainly are coming back!
Perfect date night or double date night spot! The food was absolutely amazing! Love that it’s only antipasto, pizza & pasta! Can’t wait to come back and try more!! The cocktails are also out of this world!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Figlia has been a favorite of ours since the day they opened almost four years ago, and it just keeps getting better. The vibe is effortless, welcoming, and exactly what you want whether you’re stopping in for a full meal or just settling in at the bar. The food is consistently excellent, thoughtfully done, and always satisfying — but honestly, one of the best parts is simply sitting casually at the bar, soaking it all in. It feels like a true neighborhood spot in the best way. We own a business on the same block, and Figlia has been such an incredible addition to our community. What Ricardo brings is warmth, energy, and heart to the street, and we’re so grateful to have them as neighbors. A true gem — highly recommend every time.
On our way to another restaurant (which we go to very often!) & they couldn’t accommodate us. So, we walked into Figlia & thought why not! It was fantastic! Delicious food, great service & what a great addition to our weekly dining! If you haven’t been, make sure to come & enjoy! Denis D. & John H.
The atmosphere in here is so inviting. During the day it's bright and open, at night it's cozy and intimate, and at either time of day the sound is perfectly balanced - you can so easily hear the person across from you. Every dish has been phenomenal, after many many visits. The seasonal pizzas especially are 👌👌wow

We had our baby shower at Figlia and can't say enough positive things! Riccardo and the whole staff were great to work with and super accommodating. The food and atmosphere are amazing--Astoria is lucky to have this place!
My absolute favorite spot in Astoria. You can tell every ingredient is fresh and every recipe is well thought out. Fresh house made pastas, pizzas are great, drinks are fantastic. I love every dish. My go to date night.
A low-lit, cozy Italian spot perfect for a date night. We've had the Arugula Salad, antipasti, grilled octopus, meatballs a bunch of different pizzas, the rigatoni pasta, tiramisu and everything was consistently impressive. Walk-ins only so if its full, you'll most likely put your name down, wait 20-30 min and can wait at a bar down the street. Its worth the wait, though. A good option to take friends from out of town.
My husband and I went here for date night and it was overall a lovely experience. The host (seemed like perhaps the owner?) was just lovely and it was worth the ~10-15 min wait. A little louder than I’d prefer but understandable for a Friday evening. Everything was utterly delicious. We wanted to split one pasta and one pizza, but the pasta is made with egg and I have an egg intolerance so instead we got two pizzas. I got the spirit-free Rosemary Collins to drink and I loved it. We’ll be back, especially since I see they do offer gluten free versions of some menu items (and I will need to be gluten free in the future).

They don’t take reservations at least on weekday they don’t. Food is great just ha e to make in time and hope it’s not busy. Beyond that it’s a hidden gem. Would definitely recommend trying it once and everything from the salad to the pizza and pasta are great.
We really enjoyed this place! The octopus was tender and flavorful, and the mushroom pizza had amazing texture and taste. The portions were generous and the staff were friendly.
My first experience dining in was great, but I’ll never go back after ordering delivery last night. I ordered 2 pasta dishes and 2 dips, only to find out that this Italian restaurant doesn’t deliver any bread to dip into. When I called the restaurant, they told me they wouldn’t deliver any bread to me, after spending over $75 on this meal. As an Italian-American, I won’t be going back after this. ✌️👋
