I’ve been here a few times when I am in the area and this is by far the best burger I have ever had. Specifically the “Guido” burger…. Just insane (I sub the swiss cheese for the ghost pepper Jack and my lord 👀🔥) Don’t even get me started on the French fries. Also competing for the best I have ever had. Texture, salting, interior all perfect. Fry sauce is next level as well. Just a phenomenal meal. 12/10

Love this place! The spicy Johnny burger has the perfect amount of heat to where you can still enjoy your food but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that doesn’t prefer spicy food. I got a side of “halfsie” where it’s half fries and half onion rings- delicious! The onion rings have a good batter on them. Overall a really nice place, would recommend to everyone.

I've drove by this place for years and always saw a line. Always wanted to stop and try it. We'll I did it. Finally. Doing a run for my company and happened to be in the mood for a treat so I stopped and got ice cream on my first try. What a massive mistake... instantly hooked! This place is phenomenal! It has that modern burger shack feel with the old times burgers taste spun with great twists. I ordered the smores ice cream the first. We stopped again a couple weeks later doing another run and we got burgers this time. I tried the Guido pastrami on a burger madness. Its fantastic!!! Keep up the hard work guys you are doing great!

Came here today with a friend. He wanted to try it. Its a very busy place for sure. Not a whole lot of parking...it used to be the old Fosters freeze. They have windows to order outside or you can walk inside and order...its so much cooler in there. We both ordered the western burger and shared a large fries. Omg the burger was so good. The bun was soft and fresh...so good. The burger patty tasted flamed broiled...seasoned well...i liked the bbq sauce...plus the onion rings and bacon. The burger was so big... The fries...awesome...fresh...hot...crispy on outside and soft on the inside...great lunch. I would certainly come back. They also sell ice cream cones...shakes...malts...floats... twisties which is like a blizzards...chocolate dipped cones...sundaes..chicken sandwich...ect... I definitely recommend this place...😄😄😄

I was very impressed with this establishment. The power in Auburn had been out for two days. As soon as they had power, B&C opened and welcomed all of Auburn. They were slamming busy and kept a cheerful demeanor. The staff didn't show any sign of being overwhelmed. The burgers looked delicious. The line went by quick, they are doing pretty well with managing it while busy. The food came in about 12 minutes, the Guido burger was excellent. Very tasty. Probably one of the better burger spots I’ve seen around Sacramento.

Really yummy burgers and ice cream. I had the pastrami burger. My picky child had the fish sandwich, and like it. The shakes had big chunks of mixins. A little pricey, but delicious.

I went to Burger and Cream for the first time with my family, and it was such a great experience! The staff was friendly, the menu had so many fun things to eat, and the food was amazingly delicious! The weather was really nice outside, so we ate on their covered outdoor deck area which was very pleasant. I had the Guido burger which is topped with a thick layer of pastrami – so delicious! If your family likes fries and onion rings, pick the halvesies as a side and you'll get a great big serving of both to share. There's some really good ice cream choices as well, and I felt like the prices were very reasonable. I can hardly wait to go back again!

My uncle gave me a $30 gift card for my birthday and me and my wife went there last week Friday and had some delicious burgers! The service was absolutely wonderful and they were super kind and genuine! I wish the staff the best! My wife had the Western Burger and I had the New Fashion Burger! Both were yummy, yummy and yummy! We split one serving of large fries! We had about $7.50 left so we returned on Tuesday for the $2.00 any size cone special! Let me tell you it was delicious!!! I had the swirl in a large cone while my beautiful wife had the Orange flavoured Mandarine Juice with whipped cream on top! Both were so yummy! We will definitely be back! God bless you guys!

We recently found this place on a drive from the Bay Area to Tahoe and now we hit it on every trip! The boss burger is classic and delicious, and the hot dog is my favorite. And, the service is most impressive! Even when they are super busy, everyone working there is polite and nice.

This is my favorite burger spot ever, and this is my favorite ice cream spot ever, every time I come to auburn I stop by for a bite and drag my friends along with me to try it. Ive gone once a week sometimes twice for months at a time and tried almost every food item they have but I just can't get enough of the spicy Johnny, love every bit of it, and their sauce is great too, and the shakes are worth every penny. Definitely a must go if you're ever in auburn!

The food here is delicious and the food is on point. Plenty of outdoor seating and two bathrooms available. I had the DD with a bigger patty and two slices of cheese and bacon and it was super juicy without being too too oily. The onion rings were well fried as well. I would definitely come back to try out the ice cream soft serve!

Burgers are excellently crafted, made to order and have a taste second to none. If you’re in the area and are hungry this place should definitely be on your list. Will definitely stop by again to try different burger and menu items. Malts, shakes and sundaes looked really good as I saw other customers walking out with them.

This place was absolutely divine. For the first time ever I think I’ve found a fast burger joint that rivals in n out in quality and freshness. The burger was juicy and perfectly balanced. Not too greasy, not too salty, just perfect. The bun is usually an afterthought for me - this was the first time ever I noticed how tasty it was. The fries were crispy and cooked perfectly. My only slight knock is the onion rings, which were mostly delicious but had some undercooked bits of flour in them. This will be a must stop every time I pass through the area from now on. Phenomenal food, after a quick trip to play in the snow my girls were hungering for a burger and I found this place online. On the way home and not far from where we live! We arrived for the lunch rush and it was not so busy that we couldn't get a place to sit together. You order at the window, service was prompt and friendly. The main indoor dining area could use a few more family friendly tables, other than that the atmosphere is great. We ordered the western burger and one pounder, both burgers were phenomenal. Juicy, thick, seasoned well, they're not heavy on the sauces just the right amount. Waffle fries were more than enough for our family to share, also perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered a dole whip! and a vanilla chocolate swirl. As a family we were so satisfied from our meal together. bathrooms were also clean, they even have a changing table in one. I can confidently recommend this place and will definitely be back again.

Anytime we are on our way to Sac or passed that, we make it a point to stop at this spot. Not only are the milkshakes super bomb, the BURGERS are absolutely delicious. They're fresh, you can tell they're made with love every single time, and most importantly for me they do not hurt my belly. Compared to fast food burger spot and sometimes even restaurants. The flavor of the meat taste so good. The bun actually stays together and isn't stale. The fries taste really good too. They're never stale, never too salty, always made to perfection. Overall, I would suggest this to any and everyone.! Iam pretty sure it'd turn a vegan out. Lol. Please try this spot, you will not regret it.

The right amount of sauce, grease, meat to cheese ratio, topped with lots of joy in every bite. Wonderful soft serve ice creams, beautiful sundaes, and banana splits! The service was great especially for how busy this place can get. After a long drive from the Bay Area we are looking for a restaurant where we could enjoy a relatively quick, delicious and satisfying meal. We were hungry as we had not eaten all morning. Burgers & Cream hit the spot! My husband saw the chili dog and asked the person if the chili had beans, she wasn't sure. I asked her for a sample and she graciously went back and secured a small sample for him. We ordered the chili dog, the fish sandwich, and the half and half ( fries and onion rings). The food came out in about 10 minutes. It was really easy to hear them announce your name and know when to go up to pick up your food. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. Definitely need to go back and try their milkshakes! Fun family-friendly place to get a quick meal.

First time here and I love it! The amazing juicy flavors of my burger made my taste buds happy. I had The Double D and Large Fries. For my beverages I had a 32 oz pineapple shake and iced water. The price was $29.00 for my meal. The ingredients are high quality and worth paying for.

New favorite food place for nights you’re driving up or down Tahoe! Food was delicious, absolutely no complaints on the food. They seemed to either be understaffed or not equipped to handle more than 10 orders in a row. If you order from outside, you can get a peek of what’s happening in the kitchen and it is quite a nightmare. There is trash and food all over the floor such as french fries, buns, napkins, and old order receipts. Employees are willingly stepping all over it as they shuffle to complete people’s orders. Totally understand when you’re in a rush you can’t think to stop to clean up, but man, if they had at least one person per shift assigned to strictly deal with cleaning up messes and wiping down counters, they would be in a much better position whenever the county health department wants to randomly pay a visit. It’s a little off putting to see when you order from outside and see what’s going on behind the cashier. I do appreciate that they all wear gloves when they cook or prep food. Their common dining areas are well kept too! I will still return despite the mess because their burgers are fantastic and way better to buy than in n out on your way up to Tahoe - support small businesses! Open till 10 so you can definitely make it from the East Bay if leaving after 5 pm. Check it out!

Food tasted really great and fries were super hot when they came out. Inside was super clean and I was actually surprised because they were VERY busy. I think it was really overpriced though for what you get. I paid 20$ for a sandwich and fries. I forgot a drink so my friend grabbed one for me. I'm not sure what the price was but over 20 for a sandwich, fries, and drink seems excessive.

Food was excellent for a burger 🍔 stand. Parking vs standing and ordering on a crowded three-day weekend was inconvenient if not dangerous. Not sure how to correct this issue based on the existing layout, however traffic bollards as a MINIMUM between the parking stalls and the order/pickup standing area would be a good start.

It takes longer than it should to get your order. We just had milkshakes and it was close to a 20 minute wait. Last time it was longer. But their food does look and smell very good. Milkshakes were way above average.

Bad name (I should say unconventional), very good shakes, you can choose your own combination of flavors it you want, or just the standard chocolate and vanilla. They are so thick that they serve them with extra wide straws that make it possible to suck it up! I haven't had the chance to order any food items yet, but if they are as good as the shakes it must be excellent.

Burger and Cream is our go to spot to stop on our way up to the Sierra. This updated old school burger and soft serve joint has indoor and outdoor seating. The seasonal tangerine shake is not to be missed! They offer a gluten free bun, which this celiac appreciates, although on my most recent visit it was quite dry, an unfortunate reality with GF bread. But the burgers are great, juicy and flavorful.

We come here often, but lately it our order is incorrect. We ordered a have see with our meal and they didn't even put it in the bag. We had to go back and get it. The people, 70% that work there aren't very friendly. People were not smiling and one girl in the ice cream department rolled her eyes at us when we didn't want to take our ice cream because we stated, we wanted it with our food. We'll wait a while before we go back. The food is really good, so i'm disappointed with the service.

The hot dog is 1/4 pound split grilled served on a brioche bun $7.50. The burger and hot dog buns are grilled giving it a slightly caramelized and nutty flavor. The beef taco is ground angus served on a grilled flour tortilla $3.50. For the taco, the cheese was a slice of American. Due to the heat of the ground beef, it melts a bit creating a beautiful rippled, slightly bubbled up slice. They even offer a a dairy free, vegan friendly Dole Whip. LI and vegan folks, don't have to miss out on the soft serve action. The indoor dining room seating is abundant, but in close proximity to each other. Very cozy seating arrangement. They also have a covered outdoor patio with more elbow room than the indoor seating.

Update: so I initially really liked this place but the quality of the paper cups they use to serve their milkshakes truly disappointing. They all leaked through the bottom within 30 minutes in the cupholders and middle console of our vehicle driving down the freeway on a trip home back from Susanville to merced. We had a sticky mess to clean and not nearly enough napkins.... I had to drop my review to 3 stars due to that single issue. Other than that food was good but I won't be going back for shakes anytime soon.... This place caught my eye on Google maps. Decided to stop in with the family and grab some burgers and milkshakes. 87 dollars later was at first skeptical due to small size of shakes. After trying them I understand 😄 🔥. Had a western burger and could tell the patty was definitely different in a good way. It was filling and I would like to try other menu items next time passing through here. Overall id say if you want fast food it was priced similar for much better quality ingredients now a days. If you are going to spend good money on a meal better do it right. 👍🙂

So for starters the food is kind of pricey, all burgers come alone without fries included, you have to buy them seperatly. The staff have a tendency to lose track of orders and forget to complete orders, in the time span i was at the restaurant, my order was forgotten, my friends and a strangers order were either forgotten to be made or were long wait times for simple orders. So make sure to ask after a few minutes if you havent gotten your order cause it could have been lost or forgotten! I ordered a milkshake and burger, the milkshake was great it tasted very good. The burger not so much, it was dry, not enough sauce, and not very flavorful, just plain. Other than that its nothing special, just a regular burger joint with good milkshakes, I give it a 6/10.

Been here a few times on the way up and down to Tahoe. Excellent milkshakes! Tonight a pretty poor service experience, they messed up my order and then took a long time to correct it. Then when I did get it I wasn’t impressed with my chicken sandwich. Oh well, shake was good! They do seem to lack some staff organization though

Honestly I have no idea what the high rating reviews for this place are! We both got the western bacon cheeseburger and felt it was flavorless! I just don't know when I have ever had a burger as flavorless! Really the only flavor that was there was, was the barbecue sauce. The fries were okay. We each got a dessert after. He got a strawberry milkshake which was nice and thick, just a basic strawberry shake though, nothing spectacular. I got the thing that's like a blizzard, I can't remember what it's called, but it was Vanilla soft serve with caramel sauce and heath candy bits and it was very very basic. They were pretty miserly on the caramel and the candy bits. In addition they had given me a double cup which I didn't realize, but when I did and I went to separate them, ice cream spilled all over me, all over my car seat, all over my seat belt, all over my clothes and made a huge mess because they had double cupped it due to a big hole in the first one. Why not just give me an entirely new cup!? Overall, based on the reviews that we read, our expectations were way way higher than what we got. I think if you come here come with no expectations then you won't be disappointed. The thing that did stand out positively though is the atmosphere and ambiance. Their outdoor patio is super nice and has intermittent misters.

Some positives are that there is a strong snall town wholesome family vibe here which feels good to be around. The rest of my experience wasn’t good. I came here years ago and remembered there’s quite a long wait so I placed an online order and showed up 10 minutes later than the notification they sent me about my order being ready. I waited for 45 minutes after the person at the window said they had not called my name still. It was very busy. Finally I went inside to see what was going on and saw several other people who looked frustrated and waiting. I was given my order but it was not great. The fries were soggy And my chicken sandwich was just OK. About an hour after I ate I got very sick. I don’t think I will be going back again.

The shakes are really good, but the line to order is very dysfunctional. Everyone was lining up outside to order, but there was only one cashier inside taking orders. Once everyone standing in line outside realized this it was like a mad dash to make it inside first.

Burger was pretty good overall, fries not bad.. but expensive for a fast food joint in a gas station parking lot. Burger and fries cost almost $20.. just go to in n out down the street can get better food for 50% of the price and better atmosphere. If it was cheaper I’d rate it higher but it’s extremely overpriced

I decided to try the cheesy fries and was really disappointed. For around $7 you get the smallest scam serving of fries it’s embarrassing. But the ice cream was good

I ordered a burger and a milkshake from burgers and cream while I was standing in line a couple flies landed on my neck. I didn’t think anything of it. After I received my food, I took it back to the shop so I could sit down for lunch to discover a fly inside my milkshake, when I took it back to have them address it, there were even more flies inside. They tried to refund me for only the milkshake, terrible accountability on their part. I would never go back here.

From the moment we put in our order, things went south. Our order was wrong,we was chaeched wrong, so when we got our food one of the burgers was missing the cheese, instead of fixing the order, the server laughed and said "I don't know what to do", and just got the cold cheese on the side, went to complain to the manager Zach and to solve the problem he refunded the money and not offer to fix the order. All the while smirking. We drove all the way from Sacramento area to eat here. But the lack of customer service, attention to details, and how we was treated by the staff, never will we ever come back. Horrible Customer service.

Burger was very greasy, employees were yelling the same name over and over. What about an intercom system. Names were similar. Why not use number system? Very crowded, area near cashier needs to be bigger. Employee almost gave me someone else’s order.

They treat their employees like garbage. The food is greasy and cooked with the worst possible oil you can consume. The only decent thing about this place is the ice cream, but I personally, won't be giving them any more of my money.

our food was lousy. too expensive. I had a double bacon cheese burger that was basically tasteles. my wife had the fish sandwich and that was terrible too. soggy, falling apart no flavoras well. maybe their ice cream is better but avoid those expensive milk shakes. small and not worth the money. also they now make a point of asking for a tip even before its totaled up and you swipe your card. im calling that out as a terrible business practice. how is it they deserve a tip? before you get your food?? since when do they serve me at a table or bring us our food or anything a normal waitress does? I do tip those that deserve a tip. but their basically launching a burger thu a tiny window. then it begs the question.. if I dont tip? before my food is prepared? Will my expensive food be subject to foul play. the thought discusts me. too bad it went from fosters to this years ago. I say avoid this place like the plague. save your hard earned money. go to mels up the highway. its always consistent and the girls earn their tips not demand them up front.

Made the wrong size and wouldn't just offer it to me or just add it to the right size cup but instead throw it away or actually wait until another customer orders the same shake. (20 min before closing)That is horrible. Instead of makes a customer happy they would rather throw away food. They had just thrown away waffle fries when I was ordering right out of the fryer. Its not about the food its the principle.
