We came in on a rainey day to Rainey street go figure lol tried all the bars and this was hands down the best bar for a rainey day with its big patio cover and they have a dj outside as well. Was our favorite thus far on Rainey St.

This place had great music and loved the way it’s structured. It reminds me of container bar (RIP). We went on a Sunday, so it wasn’t very busy but we still had a great time for my sisters Bach!

Very chill and cool atmosphere. DJ was playing some great music. They had a tarot card reader there as well so that was really cool. Overall the vibe was perfect. It's my favorite bar in Austin so far during my visit.

We visited this place on the last day of our trip to Austin from Japan with our child. Antony was very friendly and we had a wonderful time chatting with him. The pizza was incredibly delicious and left a lasting impression on us. The bartender also made a non-alcoholic lemonade for our child, and she was such a wonderful person. Thank you. It's a pity we had to leave early because of our early flight the next morning. If we ever visit Austin again, we would love to come back! A few days ago, I accidentally posted this review to a pizza shop, and I apologize for the mistake (of course, their pizza was also excellent).

Me and a friend wandered in on a weekend around noon to wait out the bad weather. The staff was incredibly welcoming and fun to talk with. Our bartender, Noble, was gracious, kind, and awfully generous with our drinks. I've been to dozens of bars in Austin over several years but he has been my favorite bartender to date. I highly recommend you stop in to Lustre on Rainey!

One of the much better bars on Rainey Street with a great outdoor patio with friendly staff, a wide range of drinks to chose from, and reasonable prices for the area. This place also gives off a much less pretentious vibe, unlike some other places on Rainey that aren’t nearly as fun. I’ll definitely be returning here in the near future!

I really like this place for the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, the outdoor games (ping pong, giant connect four), cold craft beer on tap, and ample outdoor areas. It's never too crowded. The fifth star is for Tommy Want Wingy, their on-site food truck with the BEST hot wings in Austin!

Definitely a crowd favorite. The music is good - they played some popular music in Spanish, as well as throwbacks, which I love. It can take a bit to get drinks since a lot of people are there, but the drinks were good. There is a second floor that's smaller and then a rooftop that is also a popular spot. It's a very good atmosphere and an interesting mix of young adults in there. I would go again!

I went on Sunday when we had good weather. I was surprised it was busy from about 6pm til midnight when I left considering it was a Sunday. Drinks are about as expensive as 6th or elsewhere on Rainey. About $12-15 a cocktail. There's an upstairs that removes you from the masses which is nice for breaks or soaking in the atmosphere. The dance floor was pretty energetic and not too crowded. Bathrooms never had much of a line. I think it lacks seating space but generally that's par for bars. Overall, solid place to visit.

5 star atmosphere and beer service. Friday night DJ 1 star. Would skip a song every 40 seconds and make the overall dancing experience awkward and disjointed. Fix that and you’ve got 5 stars!

Sunday night and we weren't expecting the decibel level to be unmanageable. But it was. We went early to play bar games. What we got was full on Friday night party atmosphere despite the place being mostly empty. I loved this place last time I was in town. This time we couldn't spend more than 15 minutes.

What a great spot. However the bartender couldn't have been more rude and bothered by our group of 5 coming in to make the total number of patrons 6.

Stopped in while we waited for our order @ VIA 313. It was Sunday, so we were the only 2 people there besides the chillest guy--a true shout out to him for welcoming us and truly keeping us company! The bartender was mid. Maybe we caught her on a bad day, but she seemed unconventionally offended when we, a couple of tourists, pronounced the bar's name wrong. She *for sure* lost whatever 'props' from us when she quickly served us beer upon the request for their famous LuStEr lemonade..keep in mind, we were the only real customers in the building🤣

This place is made of stairs, so I'd steer clear if you prefer elevators or escalators. But definitely come here if you're looking to get your steps in. That said, the drinks were good. They had lots of ice. But don't have too many because the bathroom is basically a puddle of pee. Your shoes will never feel the same if you step foot in there.

Avoid this place if you appreciate good whiskey! Incredibly upsetting!! They refuse to pour any of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (Very amazing whiskey) without pouring water in it!!!! Like, absolutely refuse to serve it neat... For a $75 / ounce product, this is offensive to an extraordinary degree. What a shame, came just for the whiskey, but left without being served after being told they refuse to serve it neat....

Served with broken glass?! I asked for a straw and they condescendingly told me they don’t “carry” it like they are better human beings! Yet, they serve with plastic food pick!!! I’m a minority and I really feel the elderly white man with long hair was racist and rude towards me. Don’t ever go here! You’d think for a bar who wants your business they would be nicer to you. Worst bar on Rainey!
