Ordered the chicken and veggie pho and it was honestly top-tier. Among the best in the city and I will definitely be back. Service was also very friendly and organized and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Place was clean and great atmosphere - 10/10 would recommend here for some great pho in the city!
I usually go on a weekly basis to have their Sip bowl (5 different kinds of meat inside) or Bún bò Huế. Bún bò Huế is my favorite since it has rich flavors in the beef broth, and you can even add their chili oil in it, plus the beef rib is tender. I have tried the grilled dishes, and I would recommend a combo of pork belly and shrimp with their salad and vermicelli. The sauce is slightly sour but refreshing. Overall, it's one of the best pho restaurants near the UT campus, and they are open until 9 PM. If you can't find spots in front of their restaurant, they have more spots in the back. They offer a 10% discount if you have a UT or military ID!
This place is so cute, great service and delicious and HUGE portions of Pho 🍲 We ordered each their beef short ribs pho thinking they would serve like a normal ramen place but we couldn’t even finish! They gave us HUGE bowls and a big piece of rib with super soft and juicy meat (it would fall out of the bone type of soft). Honestly we weren’t disappointed we had to take some home and we even got to enjoy reheat next day 🤭 Their service is amazing, all the girls there are super kind, they have a great system where you order and get a table assigned with a number. So no wait at all for us that day! They also have plenty of toppings to personalize your pho!
Wonderful place. Easy 5 stars. Workflow is smooth. Order at counter, food delivered at table; self seating. Condiments and toppings at counter station. Clean. Banh mi is a foot long. Pic is bun bo hue in front and pho in back. Also first responders have 50% off. Bun bo hue does have strong fish sauce presence. No blood, no pig feet.
My favorite spot for pho! I’ve had the seafood pho and the chicken & veggies pho and both were amazing! I love how they are not cheap with the meat or veggies like some places! The quality of everything is high as well. I never thought I’d ever crave pho in 90 degree weather but this place is just different. It has a really homemade and comforting feel to it. Their drinks are so yummy too (I tried the matcha Thai tea boba, the passion with mango jelly, and the coffee). Best coffee I’ve ever had! I also had the bon bo hue and I was worried I wouldn’t like it because I tried it in the past at a different restaurant and it was way too spicy. This location lets you add spice/condiments to anything as well as extra cilantro and lime, so you can control the heat. Also, the vibe after 7:30pm is sooo chill . I usually come during lunch or dinner and there’s usually a bigger crowd. I also tried the tofu bahn mi and the bread was really soft and fresh but I wish the tofu had more flavor. Wonton soup was also good but a little bit salty. You order and pay up front and then they bring it to your table. You don’t have to wait for your check at the end and can always go back to order more if desired. They have self-service for drinks and garnish so if you don’t like to be disturbed during your meal this is a huge plus!!
Sip Pho is the spot! Came here on a Sunday during brunch hours after a night of drinking, and this place hit the spot! We ordered the pork egg rolls, "The Works" Pho (Pho Dac Biet for us Viet folks), Bun Bo Hue, and Vietnamese Coffee. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The quality of the food and portion size was worth it. The Bun Bo Hue came with a huge short rib, and had meat normally found in Pho. It was unique to see and very tasty. Located near UT- Austin, so generally had a younger crowd as well as local families wanting to enjoy delicious Pho. You order at the counter and then seat yourself after. Chill atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Absolutely recommend this place and will be back!
Went here for a quick lunch with the family. The place is clean. You order at the front and they will bring the irder to your table. We had combination pho, fried egg rolls and combination porkribs and shrimp rice platter. The food was ready within 10mins and it was delicious. The eggroll is 6/10 based on ither pho places we've tried. The pho and the rice platter is a 10. 😋 Delicious andthe portions were just right.
Really nice place! I was very surprised by how good the food was. Everything is very affordable and the quality and quantity is very very satisfying! Came here with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed everything. It was my first time but not hers. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend the beef short rib pho! Absolutely a banger!
The Beef Pho with Brisket and Flank was packed with rich, savory flavor, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The food comes out fast, making this an excellent option for a quick yet satisfying meal. UT Austin students also get a 10% discount, which is a nice perk—this place is super popular among the UT crowd! The interior is stylish and adds to the overall dining experience. If you're looking for delicious pho in a great atmosphere, this is the spot to visit.
You have to order before getting a table because the line is long. I ordered Wagyu beef and pork ribs—big portions, very meaty, and worth it. The place is clean, water is self-service, and parking is hard to find.😊
Firts time here food is so good fresh food prices is ok just restrooms so dirty and parking so 🅿️ difficult to get in but other than that great food
Tasty and soooo easy to eat! The sauce for the vermicelli bowls is nicely balanced, and it can be hard to appeal to all the palates that dine there. Tangy, funky, a bit spicy, and a really good level of saltiness imo. I'd recommend their beef broth pho to anyone. Very consistent, never had a bad bowl :) Haven't tried the other broths but looking forward to it. I got the egg rolls in my bowl, don't sleep on that. They're meaty and deeply umami, definitely fresh and made in-house. Dip in the nuoc mam - mmmm! Or dunk or drenched. Found a piece of cabbage that seemed tucked in almost as a joke (egg roll halves for size comparison). It's a solid chunk, so did not enjoy that. I have to compliment the noodles. They give you the good ones that don't stick together. Presentation is always on point. I would want a studier fork as opposed to a cutlery set, but that would be a bonus more than anything. Friendly energy in there. Intimate patio when weather's good. They like to decorate according to the season too! Efficient and calm staff.
✅ Affordable pricing ✅ Generous serving of meat (The beef rib in the pho soup was amazing.) ✅ Quick service and modern yet cozy ambiance ❌ They use instant pho noodles (instead of frozen or fresh pho noodles). We could tell from the taste and texture of the noodles. ❌ They use single-use plastic (like cups), which is obviously worse for the environment. ❌ The meat in Wagyu pho didn’t taste like the real Wagyu beef. We actually went to this place to try the Wagyu beef in particular, so we were disappointed — but at least they didn’t overcharge for it.
This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I was really impressed! The place is beautifully decorated with a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. You order your food at the counter, and the staff brings it to your table. I ordered the brisket and beef meatballs – both were high quality and delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, and everything was served hot and fresh. The staff were friendly, smiling, and attentive throughout my visit. Overall, it was a great experience.
Drove 30 miles in for pho and as always, it was delicious. What was very disappointing on this visit was we were told they were out of an item we had asked for but, 20 minutes into our food the table next to us gets the alleged out of stock item. We didn't complain but definitely a huge disappointment 😕 Will probably go to one of the other 99 pho places near us.
Food here has good quality and good flavor. My experience with their service is terrible. We got there 8 mins before closing and we asked first if they are still serving and answer was yes. When food came out the server was in such hurry spilling boiling hot soup all over while saying be careful it’s hot(what’s the point) the whole time he was running around cleaning and putting chairs up loudly. We finished everything within 10mins and left. This happened after tipping 20% beforehand. Need better training.
first and last time I come to this place! it’s so crowded inside and you get seated wayyy to close to other people, it makes it hard to eat in peace and have your own personal space. It feels like it’s just run by college kids and service was poor. the food runner guy with the curly hair especially made my family move out of our seating spot while we were already ordering to just let his friend sit there and him when they didn’t need that much space compared to us as a party of four. They told us no to seating somewhere else that was more comfortable. they also ran out of forks??? I couldn’t eat my food. no accommodation whatsoever to have an enjoyable experience. The pho was mediocre as well. There is better places out there for good quality pho + service.
