First time in and our new cool BBQ spot . Wife had a chopped brocket baked potato and I did a 3 meat plate with Brisket , Jalapeño Sausage , and Turkey . Brisket was ridiculous good , sausage good snap and kick , and turkey was juicy . brisket is the winner here . Can’t lose with it . Service and vibe was great , way above average .

When I say outstanding I mean outstanding customer service. First times a charm. Kudos to the cook we stayed almost three hours just eating and talking with no interruptions. The food was beyond awesome no other place to compare. My biggest compliant would be i didn’t get to hug the cooks neck! Thank you bring one to Killeen I would eat here often.

The food for the price is great. However, you have sides that are not seasoned and ribs that don’t fall off the bone. Otherwise, a great place for when you’re hungry.

A humble facade hiding a delicious flavor. Delicious BBQ for a good price. All the tradicional options of BBQ meats and sides. Go for a plate or sandwich. You'll be good either way. Still on my list to stop by for the breakfast tacos. The staff is friendly and caring.

From the time my family and I stepped in the door we were greeted with great service and the decor was spot on for a bbq spot. However Pepsi and bbq does not mix for me. As for the food sliced brisket and ribs were dry but the cream corn and coleslaw where good, the Mac and cheese tho is great.

I bought a Large family meal for $120 and the brisket was tasteless, no flavor at all and half of the meat was very hard im very disappointed!!! 😒

I was terribly underwhelmed at the quality of food. The potato salad tasted store bought (Walmart), the bacon and cheese potatoes weren't seasoned. The potatoes were bland, no salt, no pepper. Just boiled potatoes with a sprinkle of cheese. Portion size was nothing to brag about. The sausage and brisket were also tasteless. No real BBQ flavor on any of the meat besides the burnt ends, which was the best option. The brisket was dry, gray, thin pieces of meat. The only thing I truly enjoyed were the BBQ sauce, sliced bread, pickles, onions and burnt ends. The rest was a disappointment. I will not be ordering again.

As I drove in from an out of town trip I stopped in to pick up food. The brisket was the worst I've ever had. We couldn't even eat it. It was undercooked. Full of fat and rubbery as heck. It was also flavorless. This is Texas totally unexcusable. So disappointing and embarrassing. We ended up feeding the brisket to the dogs. As for the pros: the order was ready on time and the staff was friendly.

Google listed the restaurant as open on 12/26/25, but it was closed when I arrived. The owner/manager acknowledged the hours were wrong and responded with “it is what it is,” placing the inconvenience on the customer rather than taking responsibility. Eat somewhere else if you want a better customer experience.

They say they do breakfast tacos until 11:00 but they lie. You can walk in before 11:00 and be told they have just decided to just stop doing them early that day. Would not recommend going to this location or Smokey Mo’s in general. Subpar food and terrible service/management. 0/10.

Ordered doordash 2 days ago and got the 2 meat plate with chicken and sausage with 2 sides. The sides and the sausage were great however I ate the chicken and noticed it was really red and almost bloody in some spots. The next day I had food poisoning from the chicken. Not worth the risk imo.
