My work assignment for the day (7/5/25) brought me to Austin Street/Forest Hills and needing a decent meal, I chose to place an online order for pickup @ this location. I haven't ate from here in quite some time, and the mixed reviews had me a bit weary. I entered, the ordering line was fairly long, and all the employees were busy busy. I patiently waited near the register, and the cashier asked if I was picking up. I stated my name, and she went as far as going down the prep line to check for my order! Grabbed the food with my drink, and I was on my way! Kudos to her for the amazing hospitality. The food itself was well prepared and delicious as expected.

Today was my first time at chipotle. Today was my first time trying chipotle. I just want to commend Catherine for the great customer service and her patience walking me through the process. We went to Chipotle in Austin Street and the food was good. Service was quite fast and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I think we went in between cleaning shifts of the restaurant for I found it somewhat messy. Their bowls and salads are always plentiful. The service team was truly busy but did a great job serving us.

Chipotle Mexican Grill on Austin Street is a place to pick up your quick Mexican pick me up… Upon entering the restaurant was clean and well maintained. Temperature inside was cool enough to make you forget it was 92 degrees outside. We orders to bowl that where constructed nicely by the partner who was preparing it. She was very polite and welcoming. The only downfall; if your paying cash, YOU BETTER HAVE EXACT CHANGE…..!!! Lol… or else you will not be consuming Chipotle. Overall solid experience all around. Great job TEAM!!!

Food is fine, but the protein portion is small. They definitely skimped on the chicken. Will likely not come back for $12ish chicken bowl with a tiny serving of protein.

There's a particular employee at this location who has been very snarky and passive aggressive on more than one occasion. He's an Asian guy about 5'5 - 5'7 slim build. I'm being very specific because it's always him. he surely hates his job, and I do hope he stops customer service, because he's a nasty piece of work.

I generally love Chipotle. But recently, likely due to the economic troubles. Chipotle has gotten really down hill, this location included. The food doesn’t taste good, lack seasoning, I feel a lot of disgust trying to swallow the food.

I got two meals for me and my wife. Not only did I fine plastic in my beans (will provide pictures), the rice and beans were unseasoned. We have eaten at the Chipotle by Queens Place Mall, and their seasoning is way better. Also the watermelon limeade and other special drinks were very sugary

Been here twice. The first time a woman told me I had to make a purchase in order to get my reward (free drink). That wasn’t at all true according to the terms and conditions listed on the site. The second time I ordered online and had almost no rice in my bowl

This location is probably the worst-run Chipotle in NYC. Rude staff and manager, Katherine S, who didn't take any accountability for the issue and didn't show any customer management skills. Arrived around 2ish during lunch, told there was no chicken at my turn and that the wait is 10 minutes. 25 minutes later still no chicken and on inquiring, the associate said that there is no one to cut the cooked chicken. Is that even a valid reason? On enquiring with the manager, she didn't acknowledge there was an issue, didn't take any accountability and said that the wait was 10 minutes more. 35+ wait to get chicken during peak lunch hour. It clearly shows that the manager had no grip on operations. If I had just been told in the beginning that it's a 30+ minute wait, I would've left and got food elsewhere. I eat at Chipotle on average 2 times a week but I won't be spending a dime at this location. And if this is level of service continues, the revenue loss for the franchise owner will be felt.

I’ve had bad experiences at this location before—rude employees, small portions, and an unclean environment—but today was the worst. After spending nearly an hour resolving an online order issue at that location I placed a second order for a bowl and requested faster preparation since I needed to pick up my child. The online counter was empty, but two employees refused to help—one walked away after playing on her phone, and another insisted my order wouldn’t be ready sooner. When I finally got my food, my bag was ripped, and my queso blanco was missing. Instead of fixing the mistake, the employee argued with me, insisting I hadn’t paid for it. He printed my receipt, saw that I had, yet still refused to apologize. Another employee backed him up, making the situation worse. The complete disregard for customer service and basic professionalism was shocking. When I said I would call corporate, the employee mocked me, saying, “Go ahead.”

The worst chipotle I ever had. As a 24 year old woman with a small appetite, I was surprised that I couldn’t get full at all. The portion sizes were extremely small, and every ingredient was added so sparingly. Definitely not worth it.

Trash I came in to get lunch and I asked for a barbacoa bowl mixed. This guy made my bowl and put BARELY any meat. I asked him, what are your portion sizes.. he looked at me with a straight face and said 4oz… HE HAD A RANDOM METAL BIG SPOON… he eye balled it. This is my bowl. I separated all the meat. So disappointed.
