This sushi restaurant is actually very professional very clean even though the prices may be a little bit higher than other sushi places that's because their sushi is always very fresh and the service is actually so good that believe it or not I recently ordered from them for me and my girlfriend and basically they forgot the spicy mayo so they literally sent the delivery guy all the way back to my house just to give me the spicy mayo which obviously we paid for but still that was extremely nice of them to do that like I said their professional and their courteous so I would definitely recommend anybody that wants lunch dinner to definitely go there.

I've come here for years. One of the best sushi spots and at a great price. Don't let the small size and location of this place fool you, it serves really great sushi. I would highly recommend the sushi and the raw seafood. The raw and baked clams are my favorite and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes great food.

Great place. Very small, but we were lucky enough to arrive at the right time so we easily got a nice big table. Service is kind and relatively quick giving that everything there is made freshly. Prices are moderate, portions sizes are great, and everything we tasted was delicious and beautifully served! Can't wait to go back and try other dishes as well. My only complain is that they don't accept credit/debit card, cash only so be prepared.

I hesitate to write this review because I'd prefer this place to be a secret. It is my favorite sushi place in all of NYC. I have been here 3 times. It is very small, but we always managed to find a table (that may not always be the case as it becomes more popular). Definitely get the oysters. I also got sushi sashimi combo and everything was fresh and delicious. Wait times were longer than at other places, but it was worth it.

Im not a huge oyster connoisseur, but their oysters are pretty darn good. Aside from the sushi, their fancy rice is really good as well. The place itself is small, only about 3-4 tables. I think the size lends itself well to the NY experience.

Their Boston Rolls are my go to. Simple and made in a way like no other. I live in Houston now, and I can't wait to stop by when I come back. The Boston Rolls here can't be replaced. This has been my spot for the past almost twenty years since middle school!!! The owner works HARD and is there every day I've been there. Delicious and fresh sushi and creative rolls!

this is the most delicious and freshest sushi in the world! I have tried sushi and miso soup in different restaurants before, but every time I enjoyed it ONLY in this place! I love their miso soup! I advise absolutely everyone to take tuna-avocado sushi here! they just melt on the tongue! Wasabi here does not burn the throat and I finally fell in love with it. the cooks and the girls who work here are sooo friendly, nice. I strongly advise you to take sushi at this place. I have never been disappointed in them in three years!

Awesome sushi! Multiple of very unique and flavorful combination rolls. Must try the "fancy rice". Once you eat it, your hooked! Place is although very small but they do take outs. Definitely a regular :)

This is a hidden gem. Modest space with only 3 tables but WOW-Za;!WOW-Za what an amazing surprise! Everything was incredibly fresh from the salads to the sashimi, nigiri and rolls. Just outstanding. We would never have ventured to this area outside a job but man if you are Anywhere close you MUST go! Cash Only!!

Been open for years & years. I've been here just as long. Food is always consistent & fresh. Doesn't disappoint, but if it does, the owner is right there to hear your concerns. Truly a hole (gem) in a wall establishment!

This place has the best sushi in Brooklyn. It is a little overpriced but it is worth every Penny. They have oysters and clams, amazing deluxe sushi rolls and other delicious Japanese dishes on their menu. They might not deliver too far, but if your order is big enough they will deliver in the area of sheepshead Bay.

It is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. The food is always safe and fresh and good. Not to mention their excellent customer service.- no matter how small or large you order is (my orders are always small), they are still very friendly. The only downside is that the place is too small so I just take out every time.

So I was recommended this sushi restaurant by my cousin because of how good it was and no joke, it was the best sushi restaurant I've been to! It was so good that I proceeded to order more just to bring some home to share with everyone. The presentation and taste was just so good and definitionly exceeded expectations. Honestly, once I get to go back to New York, I would definitely come back to this restaurant and order much more. Also, would recommend the oysters the most! Tasty!!! 10/10 honestly;

I love this place! My first time here after living in the area for years! I fell in love with the striped bass sashimi As an avid sushi lover who regularly eats sushi in Sheepshead Bay, I can immediately tell that the fish served here is fresh. It melted in my mouth and it tasted very delicious! The wasabi here is also great and the miso soup was really yummy. I will definitely be coming here again for their party dishes!

Best sushi around brooklyn sheepshead bay area. Everything is very tasty, delicious and with reasonable pricing. Stuff are very friendly and fast. Sushi is fresh and they serve decent raw oysters and clams for reasonable price, but the place is small so it can be difficult to get seating on Friday and Saturday night.

I always get the House Party Trays for pickup. The regular rolls like Eel & Avocado, and Alaska rolls are good. The nigiri is also great. The special rolls however are nothing to write home about to be honest. Have to call ahead by an hour if you are ordering for pick up, especially if it's a busy day or a holiday. If it's not busy or a special day, 25 minutes is usually the wait time.

This hole in the wall restaurant has awesome sushi at great prices. The fish is always fresh and everything is delicious. My one complaint is that they don’t accept credit card which is a huge inconvenience.

Everything was pretty good! Good old neighborhood spot. However the salmon nigiri in my platter was questionable. Didn’t look too fresh when first saw it. Tasted ok? Barely? Not fishy yet but it was probably on its last leg before going inedible.

A long time neighborhood Japanese takeout place (they do have three tables but most of the business is takeout). The sushi is fresh and prices are reasonable. Their quality has remained consistent over the 20+ years I have experienced. My favorite item there is their fresh Japanese style clams. They also have nicely made special rolls. Do not expect high end sushi here but you should be satisfied with the sushi at this price point. They can also get very busy around major holidays so order ahead and be prepared to wait.

Note to potential customers this is a Cash Only restaurant. We enjoyed some of the very economically priced lunch specials this past Sunday and thankfully we had enough cash on hand to cover it because most banks and ATMs are quite a distance away. One thing that did surprise us was the interesting almost iridescent green color of the wasabi. Otherwise we enjoyed some decent fish quality and fast service. I can’t say that we would come again, but it fit the bill for Fourth of July weekend.

Sushi was good but the place smells. Also they need to upgrade the plates and cups they serve with.

I love sushi, I was looking for a sushi place late night, found this small place. I ordered 3 different types of sushi, but liked only 1 of them, 2nd was barely ok, 3rd was unedible. Even though I didn’t like the food, I am willing to give it a 2nd try. I will check out other stuff and maybe will like them.

I ordered the California roll and seaweed salad. The roll was fine but the seaweed salad had some other vegetable other else than sushi!!!

I don’t get why this place got 4.5 star reviews, the special rolls have interesting flavors but the sushi quality is mid par at best, I would say almost every other sushi restaurant in the Neighbourhood that I have had has better quality fish, and the spicy tunas weird also - but I hope their business succeeds with better quality fish in the future

I always buy sushi from Mitoushi and Masakari on Sheepshead Bay. Due to recent events, both places temporarily closed. I chose this place because of good reviews on google. Quality of sushi is definitely subpar to other places that I normally buy my sushi from. Sushi rolls had a lot of rice. Kani salad was made using old cucumber, it was soggy and yellowish. Special roll with shrimp tempura had a ton of tempura dough. I will never buy sushi from them again.

Been ordering sushi from here for 10 years. Quality seems to have been going down a bit… Ordered 6 rolls today. And several pieces had Long strands of Black Hair from the chef.. they need to start wearing Hair nets Also the food quality got a bit worse; the chicken tempura tastes like plastic

The sushi has a fishy taste which is never a good sign. The spicy mayo and eel sauce is watered down. The reviews had me expecting more but overall this was the lowest quality experience with sushi I’ve had in sheepshead bay. Absolutely cannot recommend.

The food is so bad you rather eat tuna fish from the can you will be more happy..the tuna is so fishy you can tell that they buy a second grade fish...I asked for spicy mayo they didn't give it..they don't even give ginger and wasabi I never saw that before...

It took us 50 mins to have our sushi/sashimi platter and it wasnt that good. If you order rolls maybe it will be faster cos every table sat later than us and left earlier than us. Never had a tea that was cold and i felt that was disgusting. I rather have ice water instead. Pricy and no service, dont consider.

The worst sushi I have ever eaten. Bagel roll which supposed to be warm - was cold. Rice tasted like it was prepared last week. I was waiting for delivery more than an hour. The soy sauce is terrible and too salty. Definitely not recommended.

The avocado inside of sushi is black color,then the chef put huge amounts spicy mayo and trying to cover the back color avocado. This looks like they made year ago and put in refrigerator.when you order,they warm it again and cut ,then put on your table. Stay away of them.

If you’ve ever wondered what disappointment tastes like, this place serves it rolled in seaweed and regret. The sushi had all the charm of a microwaved fish stick and the ambiance of a waiting room. I've had more authentic experiences at a gas station. AVOID AT ALL COST!

Nasty. Disappointed again. Never any good sushi in south bk anymore. This place use to be okay. Now it's just plain garbage. I ordered the spicy shrimp and it tasted like imitation crab. The spicy tuna had the look and consistency of red slime... The salmon was brown. Not sure how you can even serve that to someone?

Ordered to go. Completely inedible, and optically the worst looking salmon sushi I’ve ever seen. The fact that the person taking orders can barely speak english and messed up my order was the least of my concerns. Will never return to place again. Hope your visit fairs better.
