What a place! Often full but still fast with your order! The portions are great and the flavours are superb. Loved it! We went twice. Came back to try the shrimp burger and it was delicious aswell. Definitely recommend going here during your stay in Bacalar.

Best Meal in Bacalar: Amazing fresh seafood. Highly rated and always packed with locals. Only open until early evening. We were welcomed by nice service, mostly Spanish-speaking, with a menu in Spanish. We tried the recommended fresh baked fish (cornflour batter) and ceviche (fish). The portions were huge—the small ceviche was plenty for two, and the large on other tables looked massive! The fish was fresh with a light, tasty batter. The ceviche was amazing, with onion and lime perfectly complementing the clean fish taste. We also had guacamole, which was nice and chunky, not pureed. A complimentary tomato-based soup to start was lovely, light, and palate-preparing. We topped off the meal with a huge, crisp piña colada. Lots of local beer to choose from. Best meal in Bacalar at an excellent price. Thank you!

The food is amazing, tasteful and worthy of the price. Personal recommendation is the whole fried fish, it's crispy from the outside and juicy from inside. Rice is cooked with garlic which makes it delicious. Thank you very much!!

They Ceviche Grande is so good and so BIG, for sure not for one person ;) The atmosphere is great, waiters are very friendly. We were served by APRIL <3 She is very cute and knows how to make you like a special guest. The place is not in the first line to the water, but you still have a good view if you choose a good table ;)

Space was a little bit tight but the atmosphere was great. The food was even greater. We were not familiar with the food and names so we got a great recommendation from the waitress who spoke english well. Be sure to try the La Marina when you visit!

The orders were large and the place was crowded for lunch from people coming off the lake but the food wasn't really as good as we hoped. It looked better than it tasted.

Since the place is always packed, I was negatively suprised how mediocre and uninspired the food was. I had french fries and butter shrimp - the portions where tiny. Left more or less hungry. There are definitely better Options in Bacalar.
