Our server, Landon, was the best vibe and always made sure that we received good service! Food was great and Landon answered all questions phenomenally and helped teach us how to eat bay blue crab. 10/10 service!

This is by far my favorite live music venue in the area. Katie's always has great music. Mostly rock and blues. The drinks are cheap and they have happy hour. They have a limited menu. Pizza, wings and other snack stuff. I have never known them to have a cover charge. It is not a large venue as it was once the old Post Office so there is not a bad seat in the house. The owners husband works for a guitar company, sometimes sits in with the bands and controls the sound system. Located on Grand Ave with lots of parking. If you have not been there then you should.

I love Katie's! Live music 4 nites a week. Blues, rock and roll, every kind of music with great shows. With great acoustic's. The owners are great and have been in this business for many years.

Local place with a surprisingly good band line up, a real jukebox loaded with good artists and a 2 person staff that can handle anything. Let me be clear, ANYTHING. I've seen these 2 handle a standing room only crowd by themselves with minimal assistance from the delightful owners. Call ahead to reserve seats for the great bands and they occasionally do a pot luck. Not to be missed!

If you love to here some blues/blues-rock, you have to check out katie's bar. It's a small venue, but they can get packed quick. On most nights, you can catch some of Houston GREAT BLUES musicians playing at this bar. Everyone is friendly, wait staff is fast and absolutely wonderful. Few times in there they start to know what you drink . At the end of the night, my husband and I always have a smile on our face.

Went to Katie's last night looking for a jam session, and found one of the best blues spots in Southern Tx. Everyone that was there was so nice and made us feel at home the owners Katie and Bob came over and introduced themselves. Paul the host of the Jam is an outstanding guitar player and singer, I felt like I was back a Knuckleheads in KC again. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality we will be back!!!

Had a fantastic time on Saturday with my good friends Kala & Gene! Gene sang some great tunes! My mom & I enjoyed listening to Gene's band play some great music! I'm going back for sure

I'm a musician in h town and have played here at least two to three times a month for the past two years. Bob is one of the best guys in the circuit and is always great to the bands and patrons of this place. He is also one of the baddest bass players around, so he understands musicians and the scene. 5 out of 5 for this place!

I go to Katie's for the music. I did in on open mic nights and jam. They almost always have to notch local and regional band. The food is primarily bar pizza but it's not too bad. They just started having steak night on Wednesday's. Definitely worth going for steaks cooked to order by my friend Denby. You get Angus steak, potatoe, side and salad for $25. My wife and I can split 1 and it's plenty. The bar and wait staff are the best. Drinks are reasonably priced and consistent.

If you want to hear some grass roots style blues and rock this place is for you. It's a bar not a restaurant so the food options are limited.

It's a blues club dive bar, and it's in Bacliff. Knowing all that, the place is decent for live music, full bar, and friendly staff. It's a bar you can still smoke in, so if that bothers you...not the place to go. There is an outdoor seating area, not sure if you could hear music or get service outside...

Great music. Fantastic sound. For such a small place they really have a gray sound system. I docked one star because of the cigarette smoke. It really is a cool little dive spot with killer live music

Five stars for Service and Atmosphere and two stars for food (drinks in this case). The band was really good tonight. I sat at the bar with some family just for drinks. I've tasted margaritas all around Bacliff (Noah's and Eagle's while visiting this week). The margaritas tonight tasted weird like the ice or something in the mix was not right. Two family members tasted the drink and agreed. Sent the first drink back ($11.25 which included an extra shot of Rio Grande Tequila) and specifically asked for a Jose Cuervo and Grand Marnier Rita. That drink still tasted strange (family tasted my drink again and agreed). I drank the Rita anyway. I was charged for everything ordered. Not a pleasant experience. I will not order another margarita at Katie's Bar. I'm posting this review only to call attention to an issue that most likely can be resolved. They should taste what they are serving to their customers especially when a customer raises a flag.
