Molly's Pub

Great little joint. Hard to tell it’s a few blocks from the Gulf of Mexico. The bar is populated by a crew of hard-core regulars who know each other very well. Athena, the day bartender, messes with them while slinging beers and drinks effortlessly with efficiency and a little good-natured sass. Not being from the area, I will definitely make a point to stop in here next time I’m around.

Best local pub around. Athena and Melanie, are top notch servers. Day drinking with my retired friends always brings laughter. Clean restrooms and there’s little to no gum stuck under the bar. I’ve never had the pizza they serve but it’s frozen so I’m pretty sure nobody has ever died from it. Five Stars!

We love this place, our date night ritual. Friends, fun, adult beverage and darts, what more could you ask for....Nguyen is THE BEST BARTENDER EVER. She sees us come in the door and delivers our drinks before we can sit down. Love her. She's always wonderful with our group.

Highly recommend. I really like Molly's for its sit-down-and-talk-about-anything atmosphere. Beer is cold, drinks are tasty, dart boards, pool table, and a jukebox. Food isn't usually served here but, there's 2 places next door that you can go to eat

It's a little brighter than I like in a bar setting, and the drinks are a bit pricey. (Though that's typical for the area), but overall, it was okay.

Molly's Pub Kemah an awesome daytime/early evening bartender, Athena. It is close and easy access to restaurants, good parking. Has a nice covered deck that overlooks the marina and kemah boardwalk. Will be going back. Only set back is that it is very smokey.

It's nice, but could use a makeover and advertising to bring in a bigger crowd. It's dead in there, with mainly an older presence, of whom someone dearly loves Nirvana and will play EVERY.SINGLE.DAMN.SONG on the AMI jukebox.

Bartender was young and catered to her friends before acknowledging us even though we were there first. We had one drink and left.

Feels just as dead as it looks. There's no vibe to this place at all. The lady serving drinks was sweet but other than that its a no.

Very bad experience. I came with a group of 13. Some of us were only served 2 drinks, and not all of us were able to get them. Person in my group bought a round for us all, but not everyone received their drinks. Wen was very disrespectful and ignored her customers. I have been a bartender since the early 90's, and I have never ran into such a rude disrespectful person as a bartender. She was more concerned with a man at the bar than her customer's. We came in to celebrate a birthday..you lost out on business. Sorry, I do not think I will recommend this establishment while Wen still working. :(

This is the 2nd time we have been here that we can't get any service unless we go up and get our own drinks. Our waitress(oriental chic) has been more concerned about smoking cigs and talking to guys that she thinks might be interested in her rather than customers. $83 tab won't be back
