Fuimos a cenar ahi a sugerencia del conserje del hotel. Y comimos de-li-cio-so!!!! La ensalda de queso de cabra caramelizado que cosa más sensacional, me explotó en la boca el sabor jeje Pedimos la especialidad de la casa paella de cordero y pollo. Nos la devoramos y no quedó nada. Normalmente pedimos la paella de mariscos, pero esta estaba tan rica y el cordero estaba en su punto. Complementamos con pimientos rellenos y croquetas de jamón. TOOODO estuvo delicioso, los meseros super atentos y las recomendaciones fueron muy acertados. La decoración está medio rara como que no parece resutante español, pero eso sí la comida es una gozada.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar del menú de temporada en este restaurante, una propuesta cuidadosamente diseñada que destaca por su equilibrio entre creatividad y sabor. Cada plato fue presentado con atención al detalle, respetando el producto y sorprendiendo con combinaciones sutiles. De todos los platos, la crema de apio con trufa fue, sin duda, el más destacado. Lunch at Gaudim was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt personal and elevated. The chef himself came out to greet us, took our order, and guided us through the menu with genuine passion and confidence. Every recommendation he made was absolutely spot-on. The freshness of the seafood was on full display from the very first bite. The shrimp carpaccio was delicate and pristine, the tuna tartare was perfectly balanced, and the beef tartare was executed flawlessly. Then came what I can confidently say was the best slider I have ever had in my life—rich, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable. We continued with three paellas—shrimp, squid ink, and lamb with chicken—and each one was immaculate. Perfectly cooked rice, deep flavor, and not a single misstep. Every pan came out better than the last, showcasing true mastery of technique and timing. Dessert somehow managed to raise the bar even higher. The espresso martini was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, followed by an outstanding crema catalana and a chocolate olive oil dessert that was both creative and indulgent without being heavy. I asked my hotel concierge for a great place to have paella 🥘, I have never had the dish before and they knew exactly where to send me too. Gaudim restaurant is beautifully decorated, the kitchen has windows that you can watch your food being prepared and cooked. Promptly sat down and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered grilled garlic prawns as an app but here’s my confusion, what I feel was served to me was garlic shrimp. To me when you say the word prawns I expect larger shrimp. I also ordered the chicken and vegetable paella for dinner, the garlic shrimp came to the table and the dish was so good and nice size slices of garlic. Then came the chicken and vegetable paella 🥘 and I was excited but then befuddled, all the pictures of paella 🥘 has been a large pan filled with rice and either seafood or in this case would have been chicken and veggies. I was served a plate of chicken and vegetable paella, I started eating and it was amazing food. When I finished I asked the hostess why I was served a plate and not the large pan and she said “you are a party if one and a pan of paella is served for two people, so you was charged a single portion of paella and not the larger portion for two people. Okay that made sense. Then I ordered a Catalana dessert called Crema Catalana and it was so good. This restaurant is also frequented by the Barcelona football team and there jerseys hanging on the wall. When you were in Barcelona, next time, make your dining reservations for here it’s really good food

I went to Gaudim last night with my partner and we were blown away. I ordered the Nebraska Black Angus entrecôte and it was absolute butter — incredibly flavorful, tender, and without a doubt one of the best pieces of meat in the entire city. It didn’t even make it to a photo. The meat literally fell apart; you barely needed a knife. If you go, don’t even hesitate — order it. Truly outstanding.

Four of us landed in Barcelona from the US early in the morning. Our hotel recommended Gaudim as a good spot for lunch. The hotel Vastly understated the quality of this restaurant. First of all, the owners are directly involved in the preparation and delivery of the food. Further, they oversee the excellent service delivery throughout the meal. Last but not least, the food was spectacular and our table, we had a special prepared, vegetarian dish, a beef cheek and a lamb and chicken paella dish. All three dishes were very delicious. I highly recommend Gaudim for great food and wonderful service. Lastly, if you’re a football fan, the restaurant is full of autographed jerseys. We feel especially fortunate to have “ discovered” This gem of a restaurant.

We also ordered daily special of sea urchin and shrimp tartare and it was only 18€ per unit (from the Nordic resident’s view). Really good value for what we got.

Me ha gustado. Carpaccio de cigala espectacular, croquetas de jamón ibérico buenísimas, canelon de wayu y cordero a baja temperatura. Muy buen servicio. Precio 90 euros por persona. Me encanta este restaurante, sobre todo por lo bien situado que está cerca de l'Antiga Esquerra de l'Eixample. Tienen una carta con mucho donde elegir, y es un sitio ideal si te gusta la comida vegetariana. Se les nota la pasión en detalles como su chocolate, que es una auténtica delicia. Considerando lo bien que cocinan, lo amable que es el personal, lo acogedora que es la decoración y lo céntrico del lugar, los precios me parecen muy justos. Pagas entre 30 y 45 euros, pero la calidad de los platos lo vale totalmente. Es un lugar con un ambiente tranquilo y sin pretensiones, perfecto para una comida familiar. Eso sí, si piensas ir a mediodía, te aconsejo que llames para reservar. Por cierto, en sus redes sociales suben fotos de los platos que dan mucho gusto ver.

Estos días con mi pareja hemos decidido ir a comer a algunos restaurantes de Barcelona, ya que vivimos en las afueras de la ciudad y hacia tiempo que no íbamos por Barcelona, hemos elegido al azar algunos restaurantes y entre ellos elegimos el Gaudim. Un buen restaurante con muy buena calidad. Y como la calidad se paga, pues ya os podéis imaginar que no es un local económico. El ambiente es fabuloso. El trato es excelente por parte de todos, del camarero que nos atendió, los propietarios son una pareja encantadora, él es el Chef y te recomienda de maravilla y con todas las explicaciones que desees, es muy muy amable. Seguro que volveremos a vernos. 👍👍👍

El camarero excelente, muy atento y jovial, agradable y amable. Sin embargo la encargada es grosera a más no poder, muy desagradable, malhumorada y tosca, da la sensación de estar amargada y a cualquier cosa que se le dice te contesta con exabruptos.. vimos que hacía lo mismo con todos. The food was ok, but EUR68 for paella (2 ppl) is crazy. Many items are overpriced for what you get. The prices in menu say EUR 34 for paella, minimum is 2 ppl.
