de los pocos lugares que queda abierto hasta tarde, sabrosas tapas, shoutout a la croqueta de zetas, estaba exquisita y de hecho me la ofreció un empleado muy amable. Bonito lugar, solo que un poco reducido el espacio.

Una Experiencia Culinaria Inolvidable en Sagardi ¡Qué gran acierto fue nuestra visita al restaurante del Grupo Sagardi! Desde que entras, el lugar te cautiva con un ambiente de diez. Aunque la barra de pinchos lucía increíblemente apetitosa, nosotros nos decantamos por el restaurante, donde la carta es amplia y tentadora, con un claro protagonismo para sus carnes y pescados hechos a la brasa. Nuestra elección no pudo ser más acertada: un rodaballo a la brasa sencillamente espectacular. La calidad del producto y el punto de cocción eran perfectos, haciendo de cada bocado una delicia. Para acompañar, unos tiernos puerros, unas patatas en su punto y unos espárragos frescos que complementaban a la perfección el plato principal. Como aperitivo, unas chistorras que estaban espectaculares, abriendo el apetito de la mejor manera posible. El servicio fue impecable, atento y profesional, contribuyendo a que la experiencia fuera aún más agradable. Probamos la tarta fina y el arroz con leche, ambos muy buenos, pero el arroz con leche fue la estrella absoluta: cremoso, con el dulzor justo y un sabor que nos transportó. Sin duda, comer en un restaurante del Grupo Sagardi es siempre un éxito garantizado. La calidad de la comida, el excelente servicio y el inmejorable ambiente hacen que la experiencia sea, como su rodaballo, espectacular. ¡Estamos deseando repetir!

We're at Irati Taverna Basca on the back of a friend’s recommendation, still slightly traumatised from a shocking pintxos bar earlier in the week that we told her about over lunch. The place is about half full. Civilised and promising. The waiter asks, “Do you know how it works?”. Yes - we keep the little sticks and pay at the end. We order a Rioja and a cava, and the degustation begins. Everything is presented beautifully: a flick of pepper here, a scatter of greens there. A pristine piece of tuna anchoring a gilda like it knows it’s the main character. Every bite is better than the last. We settle in, soaking up the mood, congratulating ourselves on having taste. We’re mid-conversation about another glass when suddenly the place hits 200% capacity. People roll in with luggage, there’s a queue down the street, and the gentle hum becomes a stadium buzz. Still, we’re locked into our moment. It was a bloody delightful feast and still a perfect memory. Buenas noches indeed! And thanks Caroline for the recommendation 😘

Four of us were walking around on the first evening of our long weekend in Barcelona, not really even looking for food but seeing this place with the pinchos on the counter it whetted our appetites. Unfortunately they didn't have any seats available so we stood at the counter, selecting food from the large choice of pinchos on display followed by numerous dishes of warm pinchos coming round constantly. From popping in for a light bite it eventually turned into a full evening of wine and pinchos. We've never eaten like this, where they just count the cocktail sticks at the end to see how much you've had and charge you accordingly. All in all the food was fantastic, the wine was delicious, the atmosphere was awesome and the prices were crazy cheap. Highly recommend

We ate here in November of 2025 and had a wonderful meal. We opted to reserve a table in the dining room, but the tapas bar food looked incredible. We shared a wide variety of starters to get a taste of the Basque food and ended with a glass of Basque vermouth. The waiter was amazing and gave great wine recommendations. We will definitely return again!

Absolutely perfect bar for Pinxos. Go in, grab a spot, order your drinks, grab a plate and pick out your Pinxos. Save the toothpics and when its time to pay, they count your toothpicks, your drinks and away you go. While you're chilling out with your choices, the occasional staff member walks around with even more pinxos not previously available. The food and service is top notch. My wife and I hit this place up twice in four nights here and will definitely be back next time in Barcelona.

Pintxos buffet! Pick and choose what you like! Love the concept! It allows us to try all the varies options. My husband and I had such a great time. It does get crowded but it’s totally worth it!

Was recommended to come for their dinner service which serves Basque cuisine, but we got so distracted by the help yourself style of eating pintxos. It was our final night in Barcelona and we ended in perfectly at Irati. Every serving of pintxos was amazing. Fixed price of Euro2.80 for everything, they count the toothpicks after. Between my wife and I, we had 16 different pintxos and each one was an experience on its own. Place can get quite packed, but please do not let that deter you. Everyone absolutely has to eat here at least once while in Barcelona. Thank you Irati for the awesome experience!

A fantastic spot to stop for a drink and some pinchos. The selection is wide, so there’s something for everyone, whether you want a quick bite or to linger and sample a few plates. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the beautiful atmosphere makes it just as enjoyable to sit and sip as it is to eat. Definitely worth a visit!

We came here to try the pintxos as a quick snack. There were no tables available, but they let you stand by the bar. You select whichever pintxos you want and at the end they'll count you toothpicks to charge you. I highly recommend trying the pintxos with smoked fish, they were absolutely delicious. The anchovie & olive, and the cheese pintoxs were also excellent. The bread was not stale or soggy at all. It appears they circulate the pintxos frequently to prevent this. Highly recommend giving this place a try for pintxos!

Loved it! Went for tapas over lunch. Brilliant mix of self-service tapas and other tapas dishes being served fresh from the kitchen right to your seat. Pay for what you eat setup. It was packed but service was snappy (kudos to the team!), great vibe, and we loved the food. Solomillo was my favourite. Plus one of the best wine selections I’ve seen in a tapas bar 🤩

There is a constantly changing selection of tapas and pintxos. If you want a meal rather than tapas, you can also order from the menu and sit at a table. The food was good and the beer was light. A centrally located restaurant with reasonable prices.

Was staying on La Rambla ans was looking for a small quaint spot to have dinner. Hotel recommended this place and I'm so glad they did. Everything was amazing! The food was so good and the service was excellent with such an amazing atmosphere. We opted for the stand up at the bar option versus sit downl where you just select a variety of different tapas based on your preference and then you pay per piece consumed. Amazing concept and the food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We met some folks at the bar so it creates a nice social setting. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, checks off all the boxes. Next time I'm in Barcelona, definately going back. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The culinary experience at this establishment was exceptional. The restaurant is divided into two sections: the front, which primarily serves as a bar offering tapas, and the rear, which houses a more sophisticated Basque-themed restaurant. We opted to dine in the rear restaurant and found that the quality of the food justified the cost. Basque cuisine is renowned for its emphasis on meat dishes, and I savored a delectable steak that provided a welcome respite from the tapas I had consumed throughout the week. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the service provided by the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend visiting this establishment when exploring the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.

Every dish was the most incredible thing I’ve ever eaten. Definitely order the duck. The monkfish was insanely good, as was the sourdough bread and the leeks. The service was superb as well. Excellent selection of wines. Can’t wait to return to this exceptional restaurant.

Buena opción si buscas tomarte un vino por el centro de Barcelona aderezado con unos ricos pintxos. El local no destaca por ser barato, pero sí por NO ser la clásica turistada a la que estamos acostumbrados en el centro de las grandes ciudades, y no es poco, por lo que es de valorar. Si te pides unos pintxos, recuerda guardar los palillos; cuando termines te cobrarán en función de los que tengas en el plato. Recomendable, sin duda.

No había venido desde hace poco mas de 2 años, cuando vine la primera vez, simplemente me encantó. Ahora felizmente, sigue con buena calidad en sus montaditos, buen vino, fui un martes en la tarde y si estaba algo solo..... Quizás los precios hacia lo alto, hace que lo deserten los locales?.... En todo caso muy contento de conseguir en buen lugar entre la jungla de lugares de hamburguesas, pizzas, kebabs y paellas de medio pelo que han conquistado las ramblas.

Pinchos cada vez con menos sabor, la abundancia de los expositores es directamente proporcional a la insipidez de lo que en ellos se expone. Como siempre, siguen usando la poco fiable técnica de guardar los palillos para elaborar la cuenta final, un chiste deleite de los turistas que se inventan divertidas técnicas de amago o simplemente los tiran al suelo antes de pagar. Supongo que son pérdidas que tienen estipuladas pero "¿a que precio?". Irrecomendable.

As shared by others, there is a restaurant side and a bar side that served only pintxos. While those looked good, it was a bit too much bread for us, so we decided to try their dishes. The atmosphere was family friendly but nothing outstanding. The service was prompt and efficient, not particularly effusive nor friendly but we were impressed with their teamwork and ability to handle all the different hospitality tasks. Perhaps we had too high expectations of the food, given the recommendation from our hotel, but the overall gastronomic experience was wanting. Have left comments in the photo captions. The best dish was the white tuna belly starter.

Más que mejorable la experiencia, sobre todo por el servicio. La chica que me atendió no me hizo sentir nada acogido. Me paró en una mesa con la excusa de que estaba reservada; le comenté que solo quería comer algo rápido y me iría enseguida, pero ni caso. Al final me levanté y me fui, y lo peor es que nadie llegó nunca a la supuesta mesa reservada. Si eres de los que valoran sentirse bien recibidos y atendidos con cercanía, quizá este no sea tu lugar. Si lo tuyo es simplemente comer sin importar el trato, entonces puede que no te afecte tanto.

Pues no es la romera vez que vamos la verdad, habremos ido unas 10 veces aprox. El caso es que es un sitio de pinchos vascos muy buenos y diferentes. La ultima vez que estuvimos ya vimos que habían cambiado personal y subido el precio , aunque los pinchos más o menos eran igual de buenos, había menos gente para ser un viernes noche, pero bueno, volvimos ayer sábado y nos extrañó el poder entrar a una hora punta sin mucha gente, por otro lado genial, pero luego ya acomodados volvimos a ver qué el personal también había cambiado ( eso da igual, si lo llevan bien y la cocina sigue siendo buena) No estuvimos nada bien, los pinchos calientes salían contados , pero contados que salían en bandejas de menos que los 12 clientes que éramos, así que la mitad de las veces no llegaban al fondo de la barra o al principio, eso no ha asado nunca , y luego entre pincho y pincho tardaban muchísimo, en fin , vamos a peor , seguramente volveremos porque los pinchos son muy buenos, pero primero miraremos a ver cómo está la situación, porque no fuimos nosotros solos, había gente al lado que se quejaba de lo mismo.

Caro para lo que ofrecen. Quería montaditos porque esa era la idea, y como había cojido mesa no me dejaron porque decían que solo era en la barra. Te ponen pan y lo pagas cada trozo a 3€ , vamos una estafa. Lo único que se salva es que la comida es de buena calidad aunk escasa.

Nos dice el camarero, por cierto muy amable, que fuera de carta tienen chopitos, los pedimos y nos lo cobra a 120€/kg. UN ROBO a fuerza mayor, a parte de estar crudos. RESUMIENDO pagué 80€ por 4 tapas y 2 copas de chacolí
