Perguntas frequentes sobre Three Marks Coffee
Avaliações de Three Marks Coffee Barcelona
Excelente!
Buena experiencia. Lugar recomendable. Volveremos.
This place is amazing and number one for visit if you’re in Barcelona and looking for a great specialty cafeteria. Staff is very kind and they will help you with choice. Great coffee equipment and very knowledgeable staff, from filter to espresso everything was great. Interior is beautiful and you can choose outside or inside option for sitting. And of course if you’re preparing coffee at home you must buy there beans. 100% I’m coming back for another great cup of coffee!
Three Marks Coffee is a spot where passion for coffee is clear from the first sip, and it’s no surprise considering the founders of Nomad are behind it. The space is airy and minimal, designed to let the coffee shine while still feeling warm and welcoming. Service is laid-back but attentive, with the team happy to walk you through their current offerings. I ordered a flat white, and it was outstanding—layers of cherry, orange, and dark chocolate came through with every sip, balanced perfectly by the creamy milk. It had that depth and clarity you only get when beans are roasted and brewed with real intention. Alongside it, I tried the cardamom bomb, which was freshly made that morning. The pastry was soft, fragrant, and not overly sweet, with the spice carrying just enough warmth to complement the coffee. Between the clean space, thoughtful drinks, and the kind of detail you expect from Nomad’s legacy, Three Marks stands out as one of the must-visit specialty coffee spots in Barcelona.
When I visited Barcelona, this is the only place I wanted to visit twice— their coffee is great! The staff is super friendly; one of the baristas even remembered me from the day before! Both days I just had a café con leche and a cardamom bun. The cardamom bun was one of the best pastries I have ever had in my life. There is a decent amount of seating both inside and outside, and there is free WiFi. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I return to Barcelona, I will 100% be coming back here!
I started getting into coffee because of this place. The barista was super friendly and kept chatting with me about coffee. I told them I’m mostly a tea drinker and don’t know exactly what good coffee is. The said they’ll cook me up something nice. And what an espresso I had ! I wish I bought the beans then. The place is tucked away a little bit outside the touristy city centre. It’s a great chill vibe to hangout or just read a book. I started brewing my coffee ever since visiting this place.
I really enjoyed my latte at Three Marks Coffee. The espresso was lovely — strong, but not bitter — and paired well with the frothy of the oat milk. It has fruity notes which was a very interesting and pleasant experience. Additionally, the staff were wonderful, and the store itself was really cute and clean. I recommend!
4.5⭐ rounded up to 5⭐. This café serves the best coffee I had during my week in Barcelona, and it was the only spot we visited more than once! Their filter coffee menu is impressive, featuring some top quality beans, including offerings from Nestor Lasso. I tried two of his coffees, and they were fantastic. The café has limited seating inside, but there are more options outside. Both times, we sat outdoors, enjoying the scenery while the world went by. Some of the filter options are on the pricier side (€17), but the quality is undeniable. The staff were friendly on both visits but I was a little disappointed by the lack of conversation about the coffee itself, especially given the premium pricing. Overall, still a great experience and somewhere you should check out if you love coffee.

This sleek, modern café serves high-quality coffee in a minimalist setting—but with very limited seating inside and out. Not a perfect place to work or to hangout for too long. While the brews are excellent, prices are noticeably high for what you get. A stylish spot for a quick coffee, if you can snag a seat.
Last time I came here, after I paid my order they forgot about it and I had to remind them about it 30 minutes later. Conveniently, they take the money first. Ok, maybe it’s a fluke, service is human and can have fluctuations. Today I went again, maybe 6 months later, after their rush hour (13pm on a Saturday). It was empty inside, there was one other person reading. They told me I need to close my laptop as those are the rules. I asked if it’s ok since it’s empty and I was told these are the rules even if it’s empty. Mind you, I just sat there 10min before and didn’t overstay my coffee. The person next to me was reading for who knows how much time and had their coffee finished. They have this rule to make money and I would totally support it if they had actual clients and I would have taken a chair to leech on a working space. This place just has unpleasant quality of service by my standards. If you like “these are the rules when it’s convenient for us”, go for it. Coffee is ok, just like many places in Barcelona. For my standards, it’s overpriced for the quality and inconsistency of service.
I really enjoyed the coffee here and used to come regularly, which makes this disappointing to write. During my last visit, while using their customer coffee card, a staff member tried to charge me for a coffee without saying anything. When I noticed and asked why, he told me the coffee card was ‘supposed to be only for me,’ even though I was simply ordering two coffees for myself — which I often do, as one isn’t enough for me. When I calmly explained this, he responded sarcastically with ‘oh, I bet,’ which felt unnecessary and rude. Throughout the interaction, he also repeatedly asked me to confirm my order several times, making the whole exchange feel like an interrogation rather than a normal morning coffee purchase. Unfortunately, similar behaviour has happened before with other staff. While the coffee itself is very good, these repeated unpleasant interactions in the morning eventually made me stop going there.
The staff is arrogant. I didn’t feel served at all since they asked me to pick up my coffee at the counter while everyone else had theirs brought to the table. The moment I sat down, a staff member came over and told me that according to their so-called policy, computers are not allowed to be used outside, but phones are. The coffee beans are too light for me, I prefer dark roast, but that’s fine. It’s pet-friendly, if you don’t mind dogs barking around you.
I was looking to spend some 90 minutes while awaiting my flight from Barcelona and decided to go with this café because of its looks and also because unlike many other places in Barcelona they actually sell batch brew coffee. So I ordered a bunch of stuff, gave a hefty tip and went upstairs to work on my stuff in the meantime, only to be met with a really arrogant staff member who informed me in a really passive aggressive way about their 'no laptop policy' during the weekends. I was told I can use my mobile phone but not my laptop. (???) I was trying to understand why that is, but was left without answers. The place was half empty, so it wasn't like I was taking up space for other customers. This was really disappointing and honestly ruined the experience for me. It's a pity because their cold brew tasted great.
I went there with high expectations, but what I got was the complete opposite. I think they put themselves in a posh position, so starting from the first impression, hospitality was really bad. Not warming or welcoming. The next step was the coffee. Ordered some special ones that took forever to be served. They were really great coffees, but the extraction was disappointing. Maybe they were in a bad day, but they and visitors need to know that they are still far to serve high standard experience or coffee
