Love the fries! My kale/chicken Caesar salad was excellent! My companion had a seafood (lobster, shrimp, crab) pasta dish. Said it was yummy. 😋
Omg!! Dylan is just fantastic! He made the experience for us. What an awesome guy💯 The atmosphere is nice and the food is actually good. The Sliders here are better than most places 🍔 located off of Big Beaver RD. Near Somerset Mall
Angelina took excellent care of us and gave us some top Recomendations. Very nice and friendly. The food was delicious and great atmosphere .
One of the most notable things for me when it comes to a restaurant is when my picky friends get something that they truly enjoy. That's when you know the spot is a 10 out of 10. Food was great, and I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the interior. Our waitress, T, was also amazing and was very attentive to our large group. We had a bit of a wait before our entrees arrived, and T was constantly checking on us to make sure we were doing good along with how far along our food was. Which truly proves how much this spot is a legitimate 10 out of 10 when you have such amazing waitstaff. This was my first time going to Yard House, and I will most definitely be back!
Upon confirming over the phone that there was a vegan option ended up going. Welp the option to swap the pattie with a gardein vegan option made it simple to choose to go. Friendly waitress was super helpful with confirming that my meal had no animal products. By mistake they brought out on a separate dish an aoli of sorts but it contained egg so it was taken away. She offered to bring so over another dipping sauce but we settled on just mustard. The vegan chikn sandwich was delicious, moist and flavorful. Well executed not just an option in case of vegan. I truly appreciate a good meal when traveling that is satisfying and delicious. Its not an earth shattering thing I know, but when your option was chipotle or a delicious chickn sandwich. Well the Yard House delivered a great alternative to the chain restaurant.
We were in town for a work conference and ended up having one of the best nights of the whole trip. Zella took care of us, and honestly… she ruined every future restaurant experience because no one is going to live up to her. She was funny, effortless, on point with everything — it felt like we walked in strangers and left with a lifelong friend. And the food? Stupid good. Every plate hit. We kept trying to pick a favorite and couldn’t because it was all fire. If you’re anywhere near Troy, go to Yard House and pray you get Zella. She made our whole night.
Yard House has a large menus. There’s something for everybody. My husband had the BBQ bacon and cheddar burger with truffle fries. My husband liked his really well and would get it again. I got the three taco combo. They have six different tacos you can choose from. I tried the vampire (carnitas/ pork), Birria, carne asada (steak). It comes with beans and rice. I liked mine and would get it again. My favorite was the.Birria taco and beans. We ended up returning two weeks later my husband tried a chicken sandwich Nashville hat sandwich. He said it was he preferred his hamburger. He had the first time. I got tacos again. I tried the Korean taco. I was not a fan of. Birria taco all the way, they are great. They offer pizzas, steak, sandwiches, pasta, seafood choices. Soup salads, desserts. Kids meals. Huge bar with many beer and cocktail options. There is something for everyone.
Me and boyfriend went here for the first time. Everything was good the Miguel queso dip, my boyfriend got the bbq wings with sweet pototoes fries. I got the 8oz filet mignon with the caesar salad & mashed pototoes. The mignon was so tender and juicy kisses to the chief. The mashed pototoes was fluffy not stif. My Pineapple Express was so good. Our waitress Paris was amazing as well so nice and friendly very pleasure.
The server Tee. She was absolutely phenomenal. I sent my sister between myself and someone else in case somebody ordered fish so the people across from us ordered fish so I was actually telling the server who bought the fish that she shouldn’t touch my sister‘s plate cause she touched the ladies with fish plate however, our server heard what I was stating because she bought my sister‘s plate And she asked how severe was my sister‘s allergies to Phish and we were like Hospital severe so she immediately took my sister‘s plate because they cooked her fries in the same oil. I guess that they cook the fish so she was 100% great however, my onion rings were cooked in the same oil and my sister has some onion rings so as I noticed, her lips begin to break out, I told her to stop eating them and I gave her a Benadryl but thank you T. Definitely a good look or we would be in the hospital.
The Yard offers a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, and beer. We had the chicken nachos as an appetizer, which was a large amount and very delicious. We ordered the Mediterranean Salmon, it was slightly over cooked, but still good. Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries, and the BLT sandwich, which originally arrived with bacon that was pretty much raw. They made the sandwich again and it was perfect the second time. Perfect place to catch a game and our server Emma was great!
My husband and I had dinner here for the first time. Our waitress Zela was the best! Took us through the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. Service was well timed. We had the traditional Wings in two different sauces, 10 out of 10. The steak bowl was delicious and the BBQ Burger we will come back for! Overall an exceptional dinner.
Had a great time at Yard House on my first visit! Our server, Kace, was fast, attentive, and super kind—really made the experience smooth. I ordered the Black Orchid cocktail, and let me tell you… it was strong! Tasted like I was sipping a shot (not complaining though—it definitely did its job). For appetizers, we had the Cheese Curds and Calamari. The cheese curds were my favorite, the calamari was just okay for me; I wasn’t a fan of the breading. For our mains, we went with the Lobster Garlic Noodles and the Carnivore Pizza. Both were flavorful and hit the spot. Overall experience: 9/10. Would definitely come back!
It was my first time coming here and the place was really amazing. The food was good, the people, and the atmosphere. The waiter we had was really nice and she checked on us every few minutes and also topped off our drinks whenever she saw them low. The food options were amazing and same with the drinks. The food came out fast and everything tasted really good and fresh. I plan to come here more as there are other foods I want to try.
I’m so mad I deleted my pictures because they were good ones! Anyways, my Husband & I were married a year ago in Indianapolis while going to see the WWE Royal Rumble and afterwards we went to Yard House. We decided to recreate the memory here close to home and cashing out our Visa points at our credit union bought us a free dinner. We got the Wisconsin cheese curds and queso. I was not a fan of queso, it just tasted like shredded cheese melted together, I missed the actual queso like taste/consistency. The cheese curds were amazing and Yard House has some of my favorite ranch it’s not the super cheap buy it in bulk kind, it reminds me of homemade but I can’t be sure. We both then decided on the 3 taco combo. My Husband got a birria, carnitas, and steak taco and I got a steak, shrimp, and Korean chicken taco - shrimp won hands down. I got a pineapple mocktail and my husband got an extra tall Blue Moon which was equivalent to around 4 beers. It was such a fun time, we had a nice server and the restaraunt gave us a complimentary dessert!
We came here after our family game night/ my bday. Food was pretty good, did not care for the truffle fries it tasted like it was missing something fries was dry. Chicken nachos was good, I had salmon that was good. Service was ok considering we had a nice size group but definitely need some organization for big groups, but they did well.
My granddaughter and I came here to dine before a movie. Had been to locations in CA and IL on several occasions but this was my first time here at home in MI. Although it was very crowded we were seated within 30 minutes. Our server Phoenix came to the table quickly to take our order and we were pleasantly surprised to receive our food within 10 minutes; given the capacity. My granddaughter ordered a cheeseburger and I ordered the Spicy Jambalaya pasta. The spice level was not overpowering. Although I do tend to like very spicy food I was not disappointed. What was a little disappointing about the dish is the lack of saltiness to compliment the spices. I understand that you don’t want to add too much salt to restaurant food. However, you do need just enough so the flavors gel. I added some after the fact but adding salt afterwards is not the same as adding it during the cooking process. That’s why my rating is lower. With a little tweak it would have been delicious. However, my overall experience was great and I will definitely visit again.
Definitely ask to have Emily as a waitress: extremely nice, charismatic, have great recommendations for food, and had great service. The birria tacos were small but flavorful. The birria consomé was okay; I wish it had more flavor. The Carne Asada was also small and I wish it had more flavor. I liked it when I added hot sause and dipping it in the birria consomé due to the meat being too dry. The Thai Pork Chop was juicy and flavorful and was surprised how good the cauliflower fried rice was. I wouldn't get both of these foods again but would get the fish and chips again. Although, the fries taste like it was a cheap frozen brand and the fish was only good with malt vinegar (not the sauces it came with).
Came here for my bday with some friends and it is a really nice bar that is very open with plenty of seating. They are able to handle all party sizes. The service was good and friendly. The drinks were poured nicely and creative and the food was solid. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Had a great lunch at Yard House in Troy. Their draft beer selection is one of the best I’ve seen, great selection of local IPA’s too! This was a lunch visit so I went with the turkey club sandwich. It was fantastic and had great flavor, and just the right portion. They put avocado on it which paired nicely and was a unique touch. The service was prompt and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for lunch or dinner!
A good bar and grill that's a bit on the higher end. Came for lunch with a coworker. The staff at the front and our server were incredibly friendly and helpful. The menu is huge, especially the drink menu but it has a great selection. We only ordered apps but they were good. I recommend them.
First time at Yard House, and it was… fine. We were seated by the bar like we asked, so no complaints there. Tons of beer options, which is clearly their strong point. Food was okay—nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Very casual, kind of pop-vibe chain restaurant energy. We went during brunch, and it was pretty quiet, not much happening. Service was fine as well—polite, efficient, but nothing that stood out. Overall, it’s not a bad spot if you’re meeting friends or want a beer with decent food, but it didn’t really wow me. Solidly average.
So I don't ever like to send my food back but sadly I had to twice this time...I ordered a medium rare steak, but the first time the sent it out it was well done, so I asked the server and she agreed with me it was well done, and I felt really bad for inconveniencing her, but she was nice about it and sent it back. Then it came back raw nhe second time, and I was like hmmm I really don't want to be a bother again but I am pretty scared of eating fully raw meat, so I had to confirm with my server again, and they said yeah it's raw and they took it back without any complaints. Finally the third time was just right - medium rare! I really felt like goldilocks :D thanks for being nice about it 😭 unfortunately the asparagus were the tiniest sticks I've ever had!😱 That was kind of a disappointment because I really enjoy asparagus, but I will say the mashed potatoes were spot on though, very yummy! Unfortunately the carrots were super hard... Sadly all of the waiting took so long that I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my meal because I had to get back to work...Hopefully next time it'll be a better experience!
Joined the waitlist online at 6:05 (24-35 minute wait time). Checked in at restaurant at 6:14 (link to check in from the text message was broken so could not check in while on the way). Was seated at 6:44 (so joining the waitlist online was kind of useless). Ordered drinks and an appetizer when seated. The appetizer (calamari) came before our drinks did. The appetizer and drinks were brought to the table by 2 different employees neither of whom were our waiter. The waiter came by before we received our drinks and took our meal order (classic cheeseburger, steak bowl, and spicy jambalaya). We then waited 40 minutes for our meal. Our waiter stopped by once to ask again what we had ordered and that was the only time we seen him the rest of our visit. A different employee yet brought the food out and I had made the comment "I didn't think we were getting our food tonight" which was ignored. We paid at the table for the meal after eating (10-15 minutes) at 7:59. We were in the building for just about 2 hours (and $115 later without tip) for an appetizer, 2 drinks, cheeseburger, steak bowl and jambalaya after joining a waitlist online. The drinks were very good and would have ordered another but was never given an opportunity to since we were never checked up on to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. The food is very good as well. This was our second time at this location as our first experience was very good, but unfortunately the service this time was so bad that we will not be back.
