Perguntas frequentes sobre Anita's Mexican Restaurant
Avaliações de Anita's Mexican Restaurant Bastrop
Good food and great location. Attentive service and nice atmosphere. I will return and bring friends.
We really enjoyed our experience at Anita’s, especially because of our waitress Juana G! She was funny, bubbly, and kind. She took great care of us! They have their system down at Anita’s and the staff was on top of it and extremely attentive to everyone’s table. The food was yummy! We would definitely eat there again!
Juana provided excellent service to our soccer team last night. We had 30+ people and she did not stress the individual orders/check management for each parent and child. And yes- I was the only one in a Mexican restaurant ordering a burger - and it was excellent -
Really, really good food. I've been more than happy with everything that ive had. The corn tortillas are the best that you will ever have.
We stop here almost every time we go to Austin. The food is delicious and authentic. Service is always great too
They food was really, really good! Had the menudo and barbacoa, homemade tortillas were fluffy and fresh! We had the best waitress....thank you Vanessa!
A must when in Bastrop. Not kidding, best crispy tacos ever! Everything is fresh, meat perfectly seasoned, shells homemade and perfect!
Went in for breakfast tacos and coffee on a day when Bastrop was swamped with car show people and we still had a wonderful visit. The flour tortillas had to be made in-house—they were simply amazing. We had such a good experience that we went BACK later that same afternoon for drinks and chips. Had a margarita (me) and a beer (husband) and sat at the bar in the back. Would 100% recommend, will be back.
Living in MO now it’s been several years since being in Bastrop area where I used to live. Anita’s was a must while passing through the area recently. The migas and salsa are still the best you’ll find anywhere! Enjoyed eating there once more.
My wife and I stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday. It is spacious with high ceilings and wooden floors in the interior, and with covid-19 the tables are separated nicely. We enjoyed the chips and salsa... I felt the salsa was just the right amount of heat and quite tasty. Service was attentive, and our meal was delicious. My wife had two cheese enchiladas, rice and beans and I enjoyed a beef fajita salad. We also had a side of guacamole. My wife felt that the cheese enchiladas were very good, which is High Praise! We felt that the guacamole was delicious, and my fajita salad was as well. Overall I would recommend this for someone looking for a sit-down restaurant that serves good quality Tex Mex food in the Bastrop area. Parking is limited to on-street parking. Our total bill for our meal including two softdrinks was $32.45 before tip.
You have to seat yourself, which I'm never a fan of, because it takes a minute for you to actually be served. The service was polite, and the restaurant was clean. The food was really good, and hot. The barbacoa was tasty and the puffy tacos were also good. Nothing was left on our plates, would recommend as a place to go for good food with friends.
Meh. Saw them featured in a video of Bastrop, so thought it was worth a try while we were in town. If you're after authentic "Mexican" and not traditional Tex-Mex, it's probably ideal. If you're craving the standard Tex-Mex Mexican, you'll likely be disappointed. The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Food was in my opinion bland, though it was fresh.
After traveling all day, I really wanted to like this place, but it was only ok. My husband's fajitas were not hot and the beans were salty. My tortilla soup was good but also very salty. Kid's said their food was ok. Waited over 15 minutes for a margarita, granted I asked for some jalapeno in it, but didn't think it would take that long to cut one up. After waiting that long, it wasn't even that great, it tastes like salty jalapeno lemonade. Chips n salsa was good. I think our biggest mistake was coming in one hour before closing.
This place has a good location and good atmosphere, however that's about it. We came to have lunch and the service was terrible! Our food took almost 1 hr to get from time of ordering, between that time the waitress never checked on us for drink refills etc. We observed multiple tables complaining about the qait as well. Hopefully they have a shake up on management and training in order to improve their service. Food was nothing to write home about it. I had monterrey chicken that literally had 2 little slices of bell peppers on it 😆. The one good thing they had was their red sauce is pretty good and the reason for 2 stars vs 1.
Orderd 2 beef fajita tacos received 2 tortillas stuffed with onions and bell peppers & cheese on the bottom there was approx 1.5 tablespoons of finley chopped beef. First time there since my last disappointing visit a year ago. Won't be going back.
Ordered a medium rare steak and I got well done. I usually don't return food, even if it's wrong, but this was so dry and so wrong. A server kindly took it back and brought me another steak. This time the steak looked a little bigger, so not sure what size I was supposed to get... When I sliced into it, it was completely raw and barely cooked on the outside. I took a bite and it was COLD. I had enough of messed of food and did not want to complain again so I just took the steak home to cook it myself later. Which still didn't taste good. It had a weird flavor. I heard so many good things about this place and wanted to enjoy it, but I will not be returning. Our server rarely checked on us, too. 2 stars because another server tried to help.
The service was extremely poor!!! Just 3 tables with customers, what a shame!! I had to get up for my coffee refill, I had to get up for to go boxes, I had to get up to request my bill!! Waitresses didn’t come back to the table for anything unless I got up myself!! So of course they got no tip, they don’t deserve one penny nor one star for this review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So Anita get it together with your employees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We should have gone to “Las Cosinas” in Bastrop Tx instead!!!
I understand inflation and prices are high on everything but a large Dr Pepper should not cost 397. I came in this morning and ordered one taco which came out to be 4.87 and then I asked to add a large Dr Pepper and then my bill came out to be 8.66. That’s ridiculous that a soda cost four dollars Maybe adjust your prices.
