It’s my daughter’s favorite Gluten Free pizza! We are always greeted with a smile and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. They know my son by first name and love talking soccer with him. It’s always a pleasure and the food is always great. Great portions, great family place and great prices. There’s not much more to ask for!
Absolutely perfect in every way. The food, the ambience, the service...the authentic Italian gem in Howard Beach. I reserved the back room space for a party of 28 and pre-ordered trays of food. So glad we discovered this restaurant. The staff are kind, treat you with great attention and care. Each dish was delicious, and the ravioli is was knockout! My cousin loved the lasagna. It's our new favorite spot while visiting Howard Beach.
Great food, great people and I always make it a point to stop if I have time whenever I go to JFK.
Great good and atmosphere slow service though still great!
Great Pizza. Not the best but really good.
First time here went with 6 friends and had a blast, service was excellent and food was amazing, moderately priced for the amount of food they give you
The food was absolutely amazing, but the servers were all over the place, and we had to wait long times for things. So make sure to ask for everything u want before they run off.
My brother and sister in law took me to this restaurant last weekend. The food and service are amazing!! I had the sausage and peppers with pasta. Amazing! Large portions and was able to take some home. I live about 2 hours from Gino's, and I will travel by bus to go there again. Yes, it's that good! It's definitely a hidden gem I didn't know about.
Delicious pizza and even better food at the restaurant. Their Chicken Francaise is one of the best I have ever had. Everything is fresh and flavorful.
I have been going to Gino's for years and this is the best pizza restaurant in Howard Beach. The food is simply delicious. I had a dish of sausage and peppers and it was amazing! The atmosphere is lovely too. You can't go wrong if you try Gino's restaurant!!!
This place has been a good spot to go to in Howard Beach. Their pizza is definitely some of the best in the area.
The food was great and the service was attentive. I'd go back.
Gino’s accommodated our large party of 30 people and provided the most lovely dining experience — everyone raved about the incredible food and the service. Senad took great care of us and made ordering for a crowd simple and effective. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!!! Thank you Ginos.
Great pizza. Atmosphere indoors is great. It's a proper restaurant inside. Service was professional. Crust is crispy, pizza is not floppy And sauce isn't sweet. Very good overall. People sit around in their car to eat their pizza. Funny seeing them fill up KFC parking lot nearby.
We were staying at an airport hotel and didn’t like the look of the in house food. Decided to “use the force” and found this gem. We shared the Gino’s Special Pizza between two. Would have been enough to share between four. Friendly staff, great tasting Pizza, Good atmosphere. So glad we ventured away from our hotel . Would definitely go back and highly recommend.
I’ve been going here since I was a kid so at least for the past 30 years. They have the hands down best chicken roll in the city. For some reason no one else can get it as good as they do. Their pizza is also always fresh and tasty. And their sandwiches are great too. They definitely stepped it up in the past ten years. It’s gorgeous on the inside as well. Definitely a neighborhood staple.
The food and service at this place is always fantastic. This dinner are always fresh and nice portions. This time I had a delicious arugula salad. Comes with cranberries, walnuts, goat cheese and apples along with a sweet balsamic dressing. Also if you like dessert you MUST try the tiramisu, its to die for.
The best pizza in the world......in the world Craig! Amazing selections and the portions are more than generous. Great people that obviously take pride in their work. In all honesty I don't like buffalo chicken pizza but theirs is literally the best I've ever had and there were rivals. Also their chicken wings are real chicken wings not the frozen stuff. A rarity these days and I don't know why......check em out.
Ate like kings, and we’re treated like royalty too. Awesome, unexpected experience!
Excellent food, attentive wait staff. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.
We ordered shrimp and pizza. Didn’t realize how big the pizza was and we had too much food. It was absolutely delicious though! Definitely will eat there again on our next trip.
Great place for lunch. Stopped here at the recommendation of a co-worker. I ordered the mediterranean wrap, and my friend had a salad. The wrap was great, full of flavor, and just the right amount to get you full. The salad was huge, like for 2 people and my friend liked it. We went there around 3 pm. The service was great and I would go again.
The best pizza in town. So delicious. Never disappoints. Buffalo chicken pizza is a whole meal and super tasty with the buffalo sauce and blue cheese it’s the perfect combination. So filling. I’ve gone here dozens of times and always loved the food. Chicken parmigiana is to die for. I can’t wait to try something different next time I go.
Amazing pizza and incredible customer service. Highly recommend!
I came here tonite for the first time for a co-worker reunion dinner The inside is very beautiful and relaxing even tho very busy We were a party of 5 and were seated and taken care of right away I ordered the Anitpasto Mozzarella Caprese When the waiter brought it to me - it was in a platter a foot long - I said “ this is for ME?” This was enough to feed the whole table !! It was such a beautiful work of art I didn’t want to eat it! However I did and it tasted as amazing as it looked ! Then for my main course I ordered the Chicken Sorrentino This is chicken layered with prosciutto , eggplant and topped with mozzarella - I chose pasta as a side that comes with the dinner When it was served to me there were two very huge pieces of chicken on that plate - again enough to feed 4 people and I swear they gave me a whole pound of ziti in my side dish ! Now I have recently eaten Chicken Sorrentino in two other very well known restaurants and Gino’s tops them 100%!! The other places served this dish in a brown sauce - Gino’s did not ,however, whatever sauce they put around the chicken was so delicious - I will now not eat this dish anywhere else but at Gino’s !! Everyone there was so attentive and friendly - made me feel like I eat there everyday for years and years! Thank you Gino’s for this wonderful first time experience and to the friendly waitstaff !
PIZZA TASTE LIKE MARINARA SAUCE PIZZA IS SAPPSE TO HAVE A DIFFERENT SAUCE DOUGH WAS GOOD BUT THE STAR WAS THE GRILLED CHICKEN MOZZERELLA PANINNI WAS AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS
Great service from our waiter Willy. And food is always great.
Ok so Ardin was awesome. We came in around 6:30 on Labor Day and they were very busy. We had great service and the food was perfect. I had chicken Marsala (requested to serve over linguine) stuffed mushroom and Tuscan chicken soup (don't judge me.) Portions were huge and prices were reasonable. We sat next to some super nice Italian people from jersey who were super friendly/interactive and offering us bites of their food 😂 10/10 will return.
Excellent service since the moment you walk in, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, that pepperoni was so thick, such a flavorful pie, plenty of mushrooms and cheese
Probably my favorite pizzeria in Howard Beach. The prices are quite high but the quality is unbeatable for what you pay. Their pizza, especially their specialty pizza, is delicious and very filling. I was actually taken aback by how big and loaded the specialty slices I received were. So much so that a big guy like me struggled to finish the two slices I ordered, even though I could easily finish two specialty slices at my local pizzeria. Aside from the great pizza, their garlic knots were tasty as well. As a plus, this place takes credit cards and the service was friendly for me. Parking during the daytime is kinda tricky but I find the parking situation a little better at night, which is especially good since this place is open late. Overall, I will most definitely be back.
The kitchen delivered consistent quality across all dishes. It showed strong attention to standards.
I came here expecting a really good Italian meal and I was absolutely not disappointed. From the moment I walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to sit and enjoy the experience. My waiter was super helpful with recommendations and I ended up ordering the chicken parmigiana, and it was honestly to die for, hot, fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell a lot of care goes into both the food and the service. Parking was not bad at all for a Monday dinner time which was a nice bonus. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in NY because this first visit really set the bar high. Highly recommend Gino's!
WILLY IS THE BEST SERVER HE IS THE SERVER OF THE YEAR !!!!!! For me 😉 My order was Risotto Trapanese what a delicious dish!! Just one thing is better w/o peas 🫛 the flavor is not needed thanks 🙏 Ginos Rest
On December 19th, around 1:00 PM, a female representative from Gino’s (I wish I knew her name) provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. After a long and frustrating morning, I was scrambling to get last-minute pizza delivered to my daughter’s school for her birthday party, especially after another restaurant failed to make the pizzas I had ordered. I was stressed and running out of time, but Gino’s truly saved the day. The representative I spoke with was calm, proactive, and incredibly kind. She helped coordinate everything, made sure the pizzas were delivered to my daughter’s school on time and hot, and even allowed me to pay over the phone. Her willingness to help, positive attitude, and great personality made all the difference. She went above and beyond, and I honestly don’t think she realizes how much she turned my entire day around. Thank you so much to Gino’s and especially to the amazing woman who helped me. Because of you, my daughter still had a wonderful birthday celebration. I’m beyond grateful! :)
Great neighborhood restaurant. Friendly and nice staff. Food is always fresh. Had cauliflower pizza gluten-free, which is so good. They had different pizza to order. Had seafood salad is my favorite. Prices are very good. If you like wine they had it.
Gino's is an excellent family-friendly restaurant offering delicious food and generous portions. The owner and staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming— the owner even took the time to personally visit our table and speak with us, which added a thoughtful, personal touch to our dining experience.
Plain Cheese pizza slice and Sicilian rice balls. Maybe it's cause I haven't had a slice in ages but this slice is up there among the best I've had. Nice spot too. It was 10 pm on a Saturday night and there were families in there. Service was great. I'll be back.
Top-quality. Excellent ingredients, perfectly cooked dishes, and a clean, well-kept environment. The staff is extremely kind and the prices are more than fair. Finding all this in New York is no easy feat. You can clearly feel the Sicilian touch and heart behind it all. Sincere compliments!
Excellent salad, meat rice balls, fried calamari, sautéed spinach, lasagna, and chicken franchise, I believe. Street parking only. It's not a good thing. It's a pizzeria and restaurant, so it's not elegant but clean and efficient. The portions were very large with plenty to take home. Everything was tasty except the rice balls. The balls were of good size, but they lacked meat and flavor. I live over a hundred miles away, but when in the area, this will be my go-to for italian food in Howard Beach
Amazing portions . Always consistently good . Been coming here for at least 10 years . They bring you homemade focaccia and bruschetta to start . We start with a large cheese extra crispy for the table then proceed to order our meals . We got the chicken cordon blue , pasta fajiole, eggplant Parmesan , chicken franchise , and today the special rigatoni Sunday meal . We love this place and want all to share such a great vibe . Highly recommend
Been here twice. Both incredible. I spent $20-30 per person but was trying to try too many things so ended up taking a LOT of food home. Grandma pizza slice was pretty good but Caprese slice was better. Ordered whole pie second visit. Sausage dinner with pasta was delicious and huge. As was the pasta with white clam sauce. Chicken parm sub was pretty good but chicken veneziana was better. With garlic spinach. Still full from yesterday or I’d go back for the third time.
Stopped for a quick bite, what an awesome meal. Their bruschetta is amazing. And their little slices of pizza for starters are a whole meal! We had the veal hero and chicken wrap with portobello mushrooms. Both were cooked to perfection. The staff is very friendly. I wish we had room for dessert!

Me and my wife went for a quick bite to eat I had a chicken Caesar salad which was amazing, chicken was juicy and delicious. The mozzarella sticks were lightly cooked beautifully golden with that awesome crunch, and a delicious Sicilian slice absolutely perfect. Staff was great. We will be going back and I can't wait
Great local pizzeria/restaurant. Incredibly extensive menu. All of the best dishes Italian New York has to offer....all under one roof. Lots of classics. Huge portions and great value for money. Highly recommended if you're in the neighborhood. Possibly some of the ingredients could be slightly better quality, but overall you'd be happy with what is available. Fantastic service from everyone there.
I like this place but not to eat all the time.i give the food a 5.5 out of 10.will try again in future. Very expensive for mediocre pizza
This was sooo good! The chef came out to meet our group. He clicked our pictures. We had salads but the portions were huge. The chicken came with a salad or side order, so its a lot to eat. I had the grilled chicken salad, the person who ordered the pecan salad suggested the dressing soaked her salad so order it on the side. It was all delicious.
Been eating here for years - food is consistently good. Had an eggplant parm hero the other day and it was excellent.
Gino's is a nice comfortable restaurant to bring friends and family. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. We visited for a quick Pizza Pie half plain and the other topped with meatball (4). I found the meatball slices to be a bit dry to my taste. I would assume the rest of the menu would be to anyone's satisfaction. There is a very limited list of beers and your usual soft drinks. I would like to try more off the menu next time I am in the area.
There's a nice selection of pizza, rolls, etc. Food is good, portions are large. We frequent this place at least 4 times a month, the food quality is consistent. The wait staff are very pleasant, even if you sit at a booth just to drink wine. There are so many Italian places to eat in Howard Beach but as a local, I can say this is my favorite on the boulevard for both pizza and sit down dinner. Never disappoints. Pictured: Antipasto Caprese, Fried Calamari New York style (spicy), Shrimp Francese with broccoli side, Chocolate Mousse cake, Cannoli, Spaghetti Primavera and Avocado Salad.
The restaurant is huge. They do have valet parking. When you walk in to the left is a huge area where they make pizza 🍕. Pizza looks great but we didn't have that. We decided to dine in. The service is really nice but the tables and chairs and really close to each other so the waiters are always bumping into the chairs. It's rather annoying. My friend ordered the chicken Parm and I had the penne Alla vodka with chicken. Honestly both dishes were not great. I've had better pasta 🍝. It lacked flavor. The pasta was super runny and the sauce had no flavor. The chicken Parm tasted like they just put tomato sauce over it. To be honest, the best part was the bruschetta they give you on the table before your entree arrives. But the actual entree was no good. I wouldn't return personally. The price was okay and it is a lot of food so that's a plus . The waiter was great. Very friendly.

This is your average pizzeria with restaurant seating in the back. The food was good, but nothing special. I did love their friend zucchini! The service was too attentive, if that's possible. With only 3 tables seated, there were 4-5 wait staff who were each constantly asking if we were done, can we take this away, etc. even though we were still eating. We felt completely rushed for no reason since the place was near-empty. My friend and I like to try me places. We looked at each other and agreed that we wouldn't rush to come back.
The pizza is good. I had the tortellini Alfredo and it was alright. My child had the pasta and meatballs and did not enjoy it.
Tasteless food . My third time for 10 years and I am sure the last. Cheap store pasta 2 for $1.i ordered veal with pepper. Meat had one temperature , pasta other and peppers with onions another My opinion when you go to restaurant you want something you not cook home. As minimum should be home made paste and taste sauce. Cheap, cheap , cheap …. Dessert was OK.
Had dinner here after a fun day at the beach. Calamari and pizza were on point. Veal Marsala though, very tough. When the server asked how it was and we told him that it was tough, he responded “it’s supposed to be tough.” I’ve never had tough veal before, not in America, not in Italy. I don’t even know what to say. Seafood pasta was also disappointing. Mussels were not fresh. Avoid both dishes.
I had a mixed experience at Gino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Howard Beach. I ordered the penne alla vodka, and unfortunately, it was bland and lacked flavor really disappointing. I was so let down I didn’t even take a picture... that’s how sad it was. The pizza was better. I had a pepperoni slice and a white slice, and both were actually good nice texture, solid flavor, definitely more enjoyable than the pasta. The ambience was casual and fine for a neighborhood spot nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable enough for a quick bite. Service was okay. Our waitress was friendly, which I appreciated, but overall the experience just felt average. I might return for a slice on the go, but probably wouldn’t sit down for a full meal again.
I usually order the special pie. I've been trying other things lately. Like the lasagna, it was okay. And tonight I ordered the shrimp Parma hero. They just need to add more seasoning on the food more garlic and put some salt in the food. It's been a bit flavorless lately. You used Great ingredients just seasoning is needed 👌🏾. Then I would probably order more frequently.
I ordered “ Chicken Capricciosa Breasts of chicken with fresh diced tomato and red onion sauteed with balsamic vinegar. $23.00” and it was terrible. The spinach side dish was made with frozen spinach and barely sautéed. The quality was not good. Don’t order that.
I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni. I walked a block to my office and opened the box to find a spider crawling from a web. I looked up to make sure it wasn’t coming from the ceiling. I called the manager and he said that spider could’ve come from my car (however, I walked approximately a 1/2 block and did not stop until I got to my office) or my desk. I offered to show him pictures and I asked for a refund but he offered 2 slices which wasn’t appetizing considering there was a just a spider in the box. To be fair the guy who initially gave me the slices was very polite and outside of the manager I’ve never had a bad customer experience there. The office I work in orders there a lot and generally it’s ok. I mean it’s only $13 just didn’t appreciate being slightly accused of lying for $13.
I've eaten at Ginos before and thought the service and food was great. However not today. I took my husband for Father's Day, made a reservation online last week and a couple of days ago got an email to verify I would be there. When we got there the reservation was not there. They said the online reservation doesn't work and we should have called. At first the woman in front was a bit annoyed that we used the on line reservation. How were we supposed to know not to use it? They should either fix or take it off the website. When we were at a table the wait time was atrocious! We got there at 5pm. After 15 minutes we got a soda and a water. 25 minutes later we were asked what we would like. Very easy, just one entre each. 35 minutes later we got it. No bread on the table, no salt and pepper, no offer of parmesean cheese, no refill on what we were drinking. We had no idea who our waiter was. 3 different people were bringing us what we ordered. The food was ok but looked like it was just smooshed onto the plate (I had manicotti). Cheese was on only one, sauce on the other. No balance. After eating we waited another 25 minutes for the dishes to be picked up and the remainder of our food to be packed for us. We asked for a Capucinno and cheesecascake to share. 35 minutes later still nothing. Plenty of servers all over the place too. We just decided to pay and leave. We were disgusted by that point The waiter apologized that it wasn't brought out. Not his fault at all. He gave us the cheesecake on the house. It was a lousy experience. This was supposed to be special for Father's Day. It certainly was a huge disappointment. I don't think we'll ever go back. I don't recommend this place at all.
Not sure if this place is known for the pizza but it was absolutely bad. It compares to the $1 pizza in the city. Dough was simple. Cheese was stale and the sauce was nothing special. Customer service was great. Street parking. Beautiful dining area. If you’re strictly coming for a slice, look else where.

Very rude , trying to place an order and the guy said call later and hung up
I called today for a delivery and the young girl who answered the phone was not pleasant and when I called back to add an extra item she said ( hurry up I can't be adding more to your order )
Never again. The food is horrible. The service is aver a ge at best. The baked clams were nothing but uncooked, sticky breadcrumbs with a creepy gray color. They weren't even baked!! They were TINY. I'm still waiting to find the clams under all the grease. The grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella was cold and the cheese was just solidified on top. I sent my husband back to complain and was told the cheese wasn't supposed to be melted and that it was because I ordered online. What?! Good grief. So disappointed to have dropped $50 here.
Honestly I don’t want to write this review but I am extremely surprised at how poorly the food tasted. This isn’t even a one-star at best. In a predominately Italian neighborhood with not many restaurants, you would think they’d have delicious tasting authentic Italian food. I ordered the parm and it tasted terrible, I took one bite and couldn’t get myself to swallow it, I’m not sure if it was a spoiled piece but there’s no way others are eating this. The other 3 people I was with agreed that their plates were below average. Pizza was nothing special. I’m really disappointed because I wanted to like this place; owner needs to work on quality ingredients and maybe hire better chefs
Im trying to figure out how this place has such good reviews! Maybe the locals really like it. It does come across as a hangout spot. Anyways my experience was mediocre at best but unfortunately the food was atrocious.
Came for a pickup stud there for a while and no one even said hello. Several people available. I saw the order ready sitting on top of the oven. But yet no one can just pass it to me. When people come to pick up is not to sit around. And we are not your employees. We can perfectly buy food from you also.. but having experience as a pizza guy I would always acknowledge everyone that crosses the door.. As soon as someone comes in be nice. I was going to buy some paninis too. But I'll drive to the next location. We have to normalize not doing business if we don't get good service.
The quality of the food doesn’t matter when your employees don’t have basic human communication skills. I was the only person in the restaurant waiting for a pickup order, and when it finally came, I asked if the order was for “name.” The rude middle-aged European man asked me to confirm the phone number, and when I did, he gave a nasty response, saying that there is more than one “name” in Queens. You would think he’d have enough common sense & decency to realize the one and only pickup order is for me, especially when I confirmed the name and number, but unfortunately common sense isn’t too common nowadays. Very rude man who had a huge superiority complex
I’m definitely not crazy about this place, first time I went there I ordered a chicken cutlet Parmesan hero. I must say the bread was super hard. I couldn’t even bite into it and the food itself wasn’t all that good so then I decided I would get the eggplant Parmesan this time in a plate and man did I regret that. It was horrible. It seemed like they cut up the eggplant basically threw it in a pan, threw some sauce over it which by the way jar sauce taste way better, And melted cheese on it. The eggplant was barely cooked. It was hard. I don’t think I’ll be going back there for dinner better yet not even for the pizza because their pizza is nothing special
The pizza here is decent. I ordered a pie and a pecan salad from uber eats and found this foreign object in my salad. This is DISGUSTING and unsanitary. This tells me that they don’t prepare their food properly. Be careful ordering from this restaurant. Who knows what this is and/or where it came from. And who knows why nobody noticed it before boxing it up and sending it off. My job solicits a lot of business from this place. They will no longer be utilized by us. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!!
Came here on Mother's day with my wife and daughter. Food was good however I noticed all the wait staff saying Happy Mother's Day to all the customers but not once did someone say anything to my wife not even our waiter.....then when I gave one of the wait staff our check with the money ($60 for a $43 check) he didn't return with our change. Never said keep the change, I waited 15 mins and then had to chase him down for my money...not leaving a $17 tip. Not coming back so thanks for the great memory!
I honestly didn’t know Italian could taste like this. I read the great reviews and had high hopes. It was quite literally the worst Italian food of my life. Do NOT order the broccoli rabe or the chicken francese.
I'm writing this review because I think they need to get better drivers i was using ginos for 7 yrs until last night. First of all I order a large pie an a order of garlic knots I waiting 1 hour . So this lady came to my door rang my bell an said the driver gave my order to her it was the wrong apartment I'm very disappointed i think they need to fire the driver or get better drivers an not just give people order away the pizza was cold an knots I dont think I'm ever gonna order from ginos again. Again I was using ginos for 7 yrs never happened before until last night
The pizza is absolutely gross! I could get better pizza from Dominos. After I read the other review from Sparkle showing she found something that looked like it died in her salad, how can these people can even operate a business is beyond me. First time here and last time. AVOID!
I recently visited what seemed to be a promising pizza restaurant, but my experience was far from satisfactory. It felt like the staff only provided good service to those they knew personally. After being seated, I was given water and a sampling plate, but my order was simply forgotten. Despite my patience, I found myself growing hungry and increasingly curious about the status of my food. I made two attempts to inquire about my order, but both attempts were unsuccessful. While I didn’t leave, the wait and lack of communication from the staff made the experience unbearable. To top it off, when I finally received my food, it was mediocre at best. Calling someone “sweetheart” doesn’t make up for a very unpleasant dinner. If I could give a negative rating, I certainly would. My only regret is not choosing a different place to eat.
