Had a great time with friends. I had a shrimp 🍤 po boy, not like New Orleans french bread, but I'll give it 4 stars. It was still good. They definitely stuffed both the shrimp and fish po boys just like New Orleans. It was well worth the money.

A very interesting place. Obviously a nautical theme but cool the way they let people write messages on the walls and pretty much everything. Great atmosphere here !

This place is awesome! I saw it on a bill board coming from Louisiana heading back to La Porte, and boy am I glad I stopped. First our waitress was everything Ms. Alyssa she was very helpful and kind she suggested the poinsettias instead of the mimosas for something new and it was delicious 😋 the crab 🦀 boil was way more than enough she told me it would be and it was. They bought us scissors ✂️ and nut crackers the scissors were the perfect thing to help get to all of the meat. The potatoes were not dry. We normally travel all the way to Lake Charles to steam boat bills to have good sea food but no more!!! We've found our new spot. Thank you Alyssa for being so kind! You made our experience great!

The absolute best king crab I have ever had. Flew all the way from NC to try it out. Got to have a hard boiled egg with them. The Cajun fries are banging and the seafood cheese bread. If ever back in Texas I will be back again. I highly recommend this place to eat.

Our waitress was Bri and she is a very attentive waitress. Very pleased. Also even though it's so early in the crawfish season they were still good. Bri gives her honest opinions on the menu and I was pleased by that. Reccomend this place if you're around!

Went on a Sunday and it was super packed but was seated in less than the expected wait time. Waiter was great and attentive, he recommended the king crab fries and they were really good. I had the fries shrimp tacos and did not expect the portions to be so big, if I would’ve known I probably wouldn’t have ate so much of the appetizer. Would recommend to anyone to come and try this place.

We were greeted and seated right away. Our waiter Alex was the best! We had our complementary bread and the drinks we ordered within minutes. I ordered the Shrimp boil with potatoes and sausage, my parents ordered shrimp brochette and fried jumbo shrimp. Alex had said that my order would be out first, then the fried shrimp and shrimp brochette would take longer. Within about 10 minutes we had our food. It was hot and delish! The service and food get five stars but the restrooms get one star. 4 stalls but only one worked and there was a line. This was our first time here but we will be back!

Favorite seafood place in the southern Louisiana/Texas area. They start you off with complimentary seafood bread which was good. I got a spicy Bloody Mary and some Oysters as appetizers. You can tell their ingredients are fresh. Best Oysters I have had in a minute. As an entree I got ‘The Catch’ which is MKP, we paid $53 for it, worth every penny. Big portion, great seasoning and cooked to perfection. Prices more than fair for the quantity and quality you receive. Very attentive customer service.

Went in with my mom and my three kids today. There was a 15 minute wait for the table. After we sat down the waitress immediately greeted us and took our order we have our drinks appetizers and food all within 10 minutes! I kid you not it’s the fastest service we ever received the place is clean and appropriate for covid precautions. The food was great even the kids enjoyed it. We will be back !

Cameron was our server and he was excellent! I cannot say enough about how good this place was. The food came out extremely fast, it was hot, boiled to perfection and the flavor was so good. The frozen drinks were great as well. They also had a hand washing station at the end. I will be back when I’m in town again!

The food here is SO STINKING GOOD!!! The food pictured plus 2 chicken strip baskets (4 pieces plus a buttload of fries. Enough for a grown man!) was ONLY $78! The atmosphere is fun and the set up was really neat! It was hard to take pictures once we started eating because it can get messy lol! But we had gloves (didn’t use) and bibs that we definitely used lol and tons of napkins and drinks being refilled and all the tools needed to crack these babies open! (We have added photos since the initial review of different entrees we have tried)

First off my server Lawrence was very polite and on top his shit, second off if you can’t handle spice order off the kids menu because there crab boils are loaded with flavor, third off I come in as a solo dolo and the atmosphere made me feel welcome just by myself. Ordered extra corn potatoes and eggs with a blue something and it all come out to be $36.00. One of the best sea food boils there is for a great price. Will definitely be coming back to rock n crab!!!!

For dinner Friday my husband wanted Rock'n Crab. We got the fried calamari and it was deliciously hot and cooked to perfection 👌🏻. As an entree, I ordered the fish and shrimp lunch combo which came with a large piece of fish, five jumbo fried shrimp, and fries for the reasonable price of $10!. My husband ordered a platter that included crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, sausage, and more. Both entrees came out quickly and HOT 🔥. We were greeted promptly and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Took my dad there today, it was our first time, we had the grilled oysters, freaking phenomenal, pops had the fisherman’s basket, he absolutely loved it, I had the medium spicy city boil, that cleared my sinuses lol. The levels are medium, spicy, and extra spicy, the corn on the cob even at medium lit me up, but so delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant…….oh if you go there on your birthday, free 1 pound of snow crab!

The seafood bread was excellent 👌 The king crab fries were perfect The stuffed crab and stuffed shrimp was ok. Kinda doughy flavor but dipped in sauce its good. The chargrilled oysters were fantastic, the creamy yolk texture/flavor paired perfectly with the cheese. The seafood platter had some changes, the king crab was small today so they substituted with snow crab, and they had no crawfish so we got more shrimp. But MY GOD IT WAS SOO MUCH FOOD. A ton of leftovers, enough to feed a family. Spent $271 plus a tip.

But somehow, people will happily drop their entire paycheck for one extra snow crab cluster like it’s the Holy Grail of seafood. The vibe? Loud, chaotic, and dripping in neon signs that scream “We’re fancy!” while your wallet quietly sobs. The seasoning is good, but let’s be real—it’s mostly salt and hope. And the sides? They exist. That’s all I can say. Now, the real kicker: the price. You’ll walk in thinking, “I’ll just get a combo.” Next thing you know, you’re signing over your firstborn for an extra cluster because apparently crab legs are the new Bitcoin. But hey, that buttery goodness does hit different when you’re calculating how many hours of overtime you’ll need to cover this meal. Would I go back? Yeah… probably. Because I’m weak, and crab is delicious. But I’ll complain the entire time and still tip like a champ.

Waitress was good overall. I ordered one of the seafood platters/combos but it never arrived with the egg as advertised. Frozen crawfish was not great but that is to be expected due to early in the season still. The crabs were great, though! That and the shrimp peeled good. Potatoes were cooked just right. Sausage was okay. The Pink sauce was very good as always. The beer was super refreshing. I'll keep coming back to get my seafood fix.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. Took my girl here for her birthday (her choice). The outside could definitely use a makeover. The front slab looked like it needs to be power washed and the front door looks like it has never been cleaned. Anyway once we got inside everything changed. Indoors the restaurant was very clean and the hostess sat us right away. I love that the size of the booths are large and easy to get in and out of. Our server was Matthew who was fantastic. He was attentive and handled all drinks and orders perfectly. Even gave me recommendation on a drink. Unfortunately he became ill and had to leave. But I witness something I had never witnessed before. As sick as he was he stopped by every table and explained that another server would be taking care of us. He literally looked like he was going to pass out. So I asked him where are you going, and he said he was going to drive himself to urgent care. I was happy he was not going to drive home or any where far. Waitress/server Lydia took over and she was just as sweet. Our order arrived on time and was very tasty. The price was unbelievable. I cannot remember I had a lunch serving of anything that was only $10. This is what me and my friend paid for the lunch serving of 1 fried catfish, 6 large fried shrimp, and a load of cajun fries each. My husband got the two fried catfish and fries which I think was only $14. The food was amazing. Tasty, served hot, and super fresh. Thanks Matthew and Lydia for a good 1st experience. I will eat at this restaurant again in the future. Happy holidays all.

This is my second time here I went because the first time I went and ate inside they gave me some seafood bread. It was delicious. It had a lot of seafood on it and today I decided to try the seafood rice. It’s good cooked to perfection but I have to say I’m rather disappointed in the bread when you lift the bread up you don’t see any seafood And I’m just so disgusted by this because I was bragging to my friends who came into town you have to try their seafood bread and the bread doesn’t have any seafood on it

First, I will say that there was only 1 waiter of which his hospitality was very pleasant. However, when I received my order of boiled shrimp the spice level wasn’t “mild” as I had ordered. I tried eating them, had abt 3-4, but they were just too spicy for me. I didn’t want them. The manager (Laken Mac) came to the table stating there were no refunds, but she can have them remade. By then my appetite is ruined, my mouth and lips burning, and I told her I didn’t want it anymore she can take them off my ticket, but she refused. She told me I was going to have to pay for them. Let’s be clear…. I NEVER paid for anything so therefore it could not be a “refund”. She did not have a pleasant aura nor did she portray herself with empathy/professionalism. Not once did she apologize for my experience, instead she explains she has been there 4yrs and they have never done refunds. I’ve never had a bad experience at Rock n Crab, 1st time for everything I suppose. 🤷🏽‍♀️ She had the shrimp remade (I did not pay for those shrimp) but my friend bought them for her mom to de-escalate the situation.

First time trying this place and the last! We were not impressed! Fried Shrimp was chewy and cold. Fries greasy and cold. Pass on this menu item! Seafood Gumbo was literally less than a cup. The crawfish in it had a God awful taste to it. The gumbo was like a soup w/no flavor. Hard Pass on this! Stuffed Shrimp were good, but overcooked and cold! Boudin Balls were the size of a golf ball! I've never seen mini boudin balls! It was cold and dry! Pass on this one! Potato Salad was chunky, but good. Cheesecake was dense, dry and not creamy! Tasted Old! Pass on this item! today, I ate fried squid with and drank the drink that will be in the photo. on 5 drinks, I was denied service and told that they would no longer pour . explaining this by company policy. what kind of politics I never understood. but they ruined me all evening. We choose a restaurant for their dishes, the layout and atmosphere are very nice, and the service with Ms. Amanda was outstanding. If you have any comment not a complain it’s not worth talking to the manager Cody, he does NOT care. The food definitely is a 1 star, if not less. Calamari misses the right seasoning, loaded with flour and overcooked. The shrimp is well cleaned but submerged in tons of butter and it’s falling behind on the right seasoning.
