The BEST snowcone in the DFW! Been going here for 17+ years!? The owners are the sweetest humans alive and you can just feel the love they put into their business. Bedford Snowball has been a summer tradition in our family for as long as I can remember. My daughter is now in love with them, three generations they've never let us down on a hot summer's day/night. The line is always long but its worth the wait. The staff is always friendly, the owners treat you like an old friend, and they even take care of the dog should he/she be with you. Quality and quantity are excellent. The price cant be beat, but don't forget...cash only!

BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!! They make there syrups daily. Always a new flavor to try. They put the love into every snowball flavor made. You feel like family. The best snow cone stand ever! They make all their own syrups, which really sets them apart! Their prices are incredible and they treat you like family! We live in McKinney but when we visit family on that side of town, we always make a point to go get a snow cone from the best snow cone stand in the Metroplex maybe even the State! Bring cash. Best snow cones I have ever had! They have great ice and mix 'em well. There's unlimited flavors and combinations (favorite is their special strawberry jubilee, try it) and real cheap! You can add gummy bears and other sweets. They sell candy separately too. I believe they sell tshirts and other goodies as well. Everyone I know that lives around the dfw area loves it! Awesome place, friendly people. Nothing bad about this place. I had to come back and add to my review. It was bothering me that I didn't say enough about this place. I want to add.. I pass up 2 other snow cone stands to come to this one. They have a drive thru and no other I've seen has that. Great out door sitting for large groups and activities like corn hole and ring toss. They even had a sprinkler going for kids to run around in. Big area for kids to be kids in. The menu, where to start. I have never seen a menu like theirs. I almost go cross eyed when looking at all the different flavors and combos and even add ons. And 6 sizes to choose from. They even sale cotton candy, candy bars and other suger candies to help your kids stay up late..lol.. I'm a simple guy and I alway get cherry or grape and my wife is a brown cow fan. I did change this last visit and got Hawaiian punch. All great options. I highly recommend that your family go and have treat. There is something for everyone.

One of our family favorites. The people who work here are always friendly. We love all the different flavor options which also include some sugar free and dye free choices. The prices are great and I appreciate that they have the pee-wee size, which is perfect for my preschool child. *be advised: they only accept cash.

Cool "throwback" atmosphere with good old prices like I remember. I struggle to even spend $10 here which is great where as other places charge an arm and a leg. I'd suggest dressing up your snowcone with ice cream, cream and other toppings, this takes it over-the-top flavor wise. This place is very affordable and even though it is busy, they do a good job turn around the orders. It seems like maybe they should have two people taking orders and two people making orders but I didn't wait but a couple of minutes.

My boyfriend introduced me to this place the summer after we started dating and it is the BEST snow cone stand I have ever been to! The family who runs the stand is incredibly kind and they truly make the best snow cones. My favorite is the clear coconut with extra sweet cream. The prices are incredibly reasonable too. We LOVE Bedford Snoball. They have such a variety of mixed and flavored snowcones!!! I have not figured out their hours. The last 2 times I tried to go, they were closed. We went on a Wednesday. Google said they were opened, but when we showed up, they were closed.

Even with the new ownership, Bedford snowball is still a great summer treat. Love the fact we now take our kids here.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The owners are so welcoming and exceptionally sweet! I wish they would open all year round! The ice is like heaven, the taste is even better! I have been coming here for 17 years now and the owners have seen me grow up from a little boy to a grown man with kids, I order the same thing everytime, orange with gummy bears and even after all this time they remember as soon as I walk up. This place is the best and deserve all the recognition, the owners are wonderful people that still work hard everyday to run and maintain the location. They have the best ice and syrup around and the prices are still the best, pretty close to the same as when I was younger. They stay true and honest and I will continue to give them my business until the day I pass away. This place is apart of my childhood and now my life and always will be.

We've gone to get snow cones here religiously since we moved into our neighborhood 7 years ago. The owners are frequently there and are exceedingly warm and friendly. There's a huge variety of flavors, combos and additions you can have added. We love this place and look forward to it opening every year! If you do go, take cash as they do not accept credit cards.

Bedford snoball is the best snowcone you will ever have!! My favorite is their fresh fruit syrups!! They're absolutely delicious and they have new ones every day!! Also worth trying is of course Tiger's Blood, but also Nectar of the Gods, Hawaiian Sunset, and my childhood favorite, Sweet Tart!

My absolute favorite snow cone place. Wide range of flavors and toppings, staff is extremely friendly, the pricing is fantastic, and the snow cones are made to perfection! They have a drive thru and a walk up window. There is almost always a line, but it moves fast and is well worth the short wait. They are worth trying and I think once you do you'll be back for more.

Long time customer. Went here today 4/18. Why has the ice and syrup been so inconsistent? Maybe the young employees haven’t been trained enough? Alarming when all you need to do is grind the ice longer so It’s smoother and make sure the ice is colored all the way through. I think some workers take it serious and some goof around too Much. Focus on quality.

Love the snowcones, so many flavor options and affordable too! Smallest size is $3, up a little from last 2 years but still low priced enough for us to come! Drive thru always seems faster than the walk up window. But there is cornhole to play, chalk to draw on the ground with, tables, chairs, and even scooters & rollerblades today when we went! Just moved to Bedford and people kept telling us we needed to try Bedford Snoball. We finally had the chance and waited in line before we saw the "Cash Only" sign. Fully intending to try Bedford Snoball today we told the gentleman at the window that we didn't know it was cash only so we would go get some cash and come back. He told us he wouldn't make us go away empty handed now that we had waited in line so he served us up our Dreamcicle and Fudgecicle and when we told him we would run to the ATM and be right back he said "No rush, you can just pay next time. You'll be back." And he was right! We will be back! Ice cream and custard are too heavy of treats for frequent consumption - but a a creamy shaved ice was perfect and I could probably indulge 2-3 times each week without too much guilt. And it is right around the corner so I have easy access! Update 6/20/2017: We *have* been back. Several times. And can't wait for the next time! Update 6/12/2018: A year later and we still LOVE Bedford Snoball. Such a fun spot to get a nice e cool treat. Get a punch card! And biking or walking there is pretty fun, too. If you go down Gettysburg from Central you can do through the neighborhood and avoid Pipeline.

Best snocone in the metroplex by far. I’ve been eating at Bedford Snowball most every summer since I was 5. It’s still family owned too! The ice is smooth and the texture like ice cream!! No ice chunks ever! They also make fresh flavors daily called “jubilee” - they always have strawberry plus one or two more. They are worth the drive and soon it may become a family addiction - I mean family tradition - like it has for us.

Friendly service, terrific snow cones, and great family atmosphere. We used to live in Euless and were fortunate to be in the area during a vacation. The Snowball is just as we remembered it and it brought back many memories.

I just went to get my daughter and I a snow cone since it’s been so long since we have had one. The new owners are super sweet, I wanted one from the cool combo but the menu doesn’t show what ingredients the cool combos have, the lady was very patient with me and explained a couple based on what flavors I was looking for. They even upgraded one of my snow cones to a bigger size for coming back since is been so long. Very happy and satisfied with the exceptional customer service,smiles, quickness, the patience and ofcourse how delicious the snow cones are. Thank you Bedford Snowball for a great experience. Can’t stop, won’t stop!!! I’ve written many reviews, but this is my absolute favorite one to write! If you haven’t been here, you simply haven’t had a real snowcone! I moved to Burleson a few years back and I still make the drive to Bedford for “MY” snowcone (super sour). They know me by my middle name “Blake” but that’s how friends and family know me... You won’t find a better snowcone on earth or better people! Use the drive through or park and enjoy sitting under the trees while having a snowcone that’ll knock your socks off!

We love this Snoball spot!! It's far from home, but anytime we end up in the area we make sure to stop by for a cold tasty treat! So many flavors & combinations to chose from, and the price is great! I wish we lived closer!!

Absolutely love thiss place! I’ve been coming here over 20 years. The employees always show great customer service and being respectful. Special shoutout to Zeb though! Always kind at the window, he sold me on their Smoked brisket this summer right before it launched. I came almost everyday but it was sold out! Zeb kept his smile, would apologize, and encourage me to come the next day (and I did…hides face). This went on for a solid 2 wks. Finally got there as they were opening, (slides down seat customer #1 of that day) and it was worth the wait! It was reallly good! Recommendation: As far as snow balls go, they seem to have all the flavors! Even sugar free which you can’t tell the difference. My go to is strawberry jubilee with cheese cake and cream (evaporated milk) with extra juice.

I had an awesome visit to Bedford Snoball! This place is a local favorite and for good reason — the snowballs are soft, flavorful, and come in so many different options that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.  The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe was fun and relaxed. I loved that they have a drive‑thru and outdoor seating so you can sit and enjoy your treat on a warm day. They even offer sugar‑free options and lots of creative flavor combinations.

Who doesn't love tons of flavors, great pricing and southern manners?! It's a drive-thru which meant I could treat my kids to getting out of the house for a special treat without having to worry about social distancing.

After years of living down the street from here, we finally had to try it out! The staff were all so sweet and you could tell that they enjoyed being there. As far as the snocones- had no idea there were so many choices now haha. Ours were all delicioso!!

A few of us ordered “peewee” cups. They are comically small but good for those not trying to eat so much sugar. I tried mango and really liked it. Seating it outside and they have outside games like bean bag toss. Service is fast and staff are nice.

My husband and I have been coming here for years and it’s always great food and service! We got here with an understanding that the wait times would be a little longer than usual with new management but as long as you keep that in mind you should have a great experience. The drive thru actually went a lot faster than the walk-up and unfortunately we chose the walk-up. The snow cones were awesome and the Cheetos and cheese were delicious! Thanks for serving them in the tray, it makes it a lot easier to eat! Congrats on the new ownership! Also great prices on everything, including candy!

Bedford Snowball is a true and through old school Shaved Ice Shack. They have a ton of flavors and even a few specialty fruit purea flavors on various days. I had the Coconut with Condensed Milk and it was great!; They also have a great variety of sizes so the little ones don't waste any... Highly recommend! This is also one of the few shaved ice shacks that I have seen that has a drive-thru which is booming with customers!

We love coming here for a sweet treat! They have a wide variety, are always friendly, and have kid-sized servings for as little as 75 cents. They also will give free little bowls of shaved ice for dogs, so it's a great stop when going on a walk. If you want a real treat, try a Strawberry Jubilee with a scoop of Blue Bell Vanilla and fresh whipped cream. Absolutely decadent. It is a popular spot, so there can be a bit of line depending on when you go, but they have lots of activities for kids to keep them occupied. I believe it might be cash only, so prepare for that.

Have gone to Bedford Snowball since my oldest son was 18months old. He's 37 and we stop by everytime we're in Tx. Large selection of snowballs including toppings, ice cream, sugar free flavors. My favorite is strawberry jubilee. Last visit was sub par but every other time is great. You need to try them!!

There are so many things that have changed and not for the better. I've been going to Bedford Snoball for over 40 years. And this summer has been disappointing, the flavor is almost non existent and they are way slower now. I'm sure some of the reason for being slower is that they now take credit cards. However, I'm staying positive and hoping for more flavor.

I enjoyed this little spot! A lot to explore and it was my first time there. The staff helped me choose what was best. My complaint is the juices used are room temp and it’s hot. So melts the ice pretty quick, best enjoyed within minutes. Definitely will go back to try other stuff. The nachos could also me better.

The ice is amazing and so soft! We tried a few flavors, and some were just ok. The picadilly was amazing. I just wished they would mix pickles throughout the snowcones and not just on top. The drive thru can be a little chaotic during busy times. The customer service was great, so the employees were nice and helpful.

The owners of this place are extremely friendly. It reminds me of when I was a kid in Norman, Ok. Everyone smiles and actually hangs out there when the weather permits. You can tell Bedford Snowball is a staple in this community. So many flavors to choose from is the only problem you have here.

Please go back to the smooth ice! I had large chucks of ice in my snocone for the second time in a row. I agree with a below review. I also wonder if this is a training issue or new ice/machine? It’s just not the same :(

I’ve been going here since I was a kid and it has always been top notch. Since the new owners took over it has gone down hill, but definitely has the promise of picking back up. I waited 20 minutes for the car in front of me, but I understand they’re training new people so I was fine with that. I got to the window and ordered a medium Kid’s Rainbow (emphasis on the Kid’s); I was given a medium regular Rainbow. I knew it was wrong because that is literally the one of only two snow cone flavors I had ordered my whole life. I told the young girl at the window that I had received the wrong flavor and we argued for a bit as she decided to give me a nasty face. I wasn’t happy about it, but I understand that nobody wants to be told how to do their own job, especially in the food industry. I eventually told her how it was made (cotton candy, bubblegum, and ice cream flavorings) and got it semi-corrected; I just wish it could’ve come without the attitude.

Waiting over 30+ minutes to get a snowball is not the normal when coming to Bedford Snowball. I'll give the new owners some grace and hope y'all get into the swing of things and improve in due time. The syrups don't taste the same either, a bit watered down. I'll keep coming because Bedford is one of the best and hopefully you can have the same quality as the prior owners🤞🏾🤞🏾

The owners are delightful and the snowcones are the best in town. * updated 7/30/23 Now I just have to say they are good snowcones, but you’re getting jipped. They’re not snow cones. They give you flat tops vs other snow cones give you a full cone. My mom says it’s a rip off and the prices are outrageously high for the cup sizes and you get a flat top. They barely want to give you napkins. I gotta find a new place where I get a full snowcone n not a flat top.

Overall the place was really cool & amazing flavors. The corn hole and games were a nice touch. I will say one thing- if you are bringing kids make sure they will 10000% like whatever flavor they get because you will not be allowed to exchange or add flavors without paying for a whole new snow cone. My daughter got the rainbow that had little flavor(yes, I tried it) and she just didn’t like. They’re attitude with the whole situation was poor & Such a disappointment.

Snow cones was just a regular snow cone place now .I just wish the original owner could of gave them the regular menu . They just have regular flavor . I gave it a 3 just for trying. Good service just not the same anymore.

Prices jumped crazy from what I remember. $3 for a small is crazy. The young people they have there not as friendly.

Long time Bedford Snoball fan (about 25 years). New owners really changed things up. Half the syrup, double the cost, and triple the wait time. The ice isn’t as smooth as it used to be. Not sure I’ll be back this season. And I hope they bring back the jubilees, they were my favorite.

This place must be under new ownership. I had large chunks of ice in my snow cone and I asked for cream and I had a watery substance. My husband and I were totally shocked. We have never had a bad snow cone here so I am going to say based on other reviews It is not the same under new ownership which is a shame.

Still a better snow-cone than most places but be warned-new owners have substantially decreased the flavor options. We discovered all our favorites got caught up in the culling. Be sure to check the new menu before you go if you were a fan of some of the more unique flavors from years past to reduce your risk of disappointment.

The snocone flavors are interesting, unique and decently priced. The outdoor area is so nice and enjoyable. The snocone quality was about normal, not mixed the best but it was alright. The service was very slow, and it would be nice if there was more shade.

I have stopped going to Bedford Snoball got brought by the new owners. I give them a chance and when I ordered my favorite from there it wasn't the same at all. I ordered a large cinnamonbon summer delight with ice cream at the bottom . When they handed to be it was in a medium cup not a large and it had two different kinds cereal on it. I never asked for the cereal on top. It was so gross and it broke my heart. I miss the old owners. Love them.

We use to like to go here but lately they been way off on their flavors when they mix it n its been a simple cherry flavor tasting so bad n it happened to us twice already it’s frustrating going back to let them know. Might lose us as customers at this point

This is the first time I've gotten a snowcone from here that I had to throw away. I'm so sad. My girls got a cherry and a watermelon and we couldn't tell the difference. The fudge bomb was all banana with hint of fudge. Hopefully next time.we come, we will all actually be able to eat out snowcones. We drive out of our way to come here, but it just didn't hit the spot this time.

I want to start with that fact that I appreciate the changes the new owners are making, but there is definitely room to improve. Ever since it has been a bought out, it’s just not the same. The small town, mom and pop feel is gone. The one thing I’m most disappointed with is the fact that their jubilees taste like water. The best thing that stood out most about this spot is the fact that the old owners made syrups from scratch with real fruit, and it was SO good- Could even see the fruit in the syrups. Now they are adding so many jubilee flavors and they just don’t have flavor. We’ve tried it a few times since the switch, and now it’s like like every other snowball stand, but now with a extra wait time. I’m hopeful they will improve over time, since the switch happened just this year.

Since the new ownership, the quality has gone way down. We showed up at 6pm on a Sunday and they already ran out of strawberry jubilee. This is the second time this has happened. The ice isn’t the same as it used to be. It’s much more chunky and less flavor as well. I definitely miss the old owners.

Updating my review. Of course I miss the old owners and really wanted the new owners to do well. I have been coming to this snocone place practically as long as I have been alive, but the staff did not seem welcoming. We got 2 snocones and they were wildly different. My husband was handed one so full of syrup it was running down the sides. Dripping down his hands. Was not even wiped off. Mine on the other hand, a tiger's blood, was very dry. Big chunks of ice, some ice did not even have syrup. Plus I feel like the coconut syrup was not added. It tasted only like cherry. While we waited at the window we were standing in gum stuck to the concrete. It used to be a place I would have a seat and eat my snocone, now I just wanted to get in my car and go.

Unfortunately it appears that ownership has changed and with it the quality of my favorite childhood snow cone stand. I have been coming here for more than 20 years since I was in the Jr high across the street. The snow used to be fine like powder, now it is huge and chunky. The quality of the flavoring is sub par, as if cheaper flavorings were purchased, not to mention a reduction in flavor offerings. The end of an era, I will not be returning.

We use to love their snow cones but now it’s going down hill. We just got and it’s soooo bitter all we can taste is chlorine, can’t even enjoy it’s like pool water . Sad to say this but not going there again😥

Change in ownership brought a change in the ice! It's crystaly and crunchy now, as opposed to the smooth ice that everyone loved them for. I only got the wedding cake flavor, it's more bland than it used to be, and way sweeter. Rip my fave 😞 I used to come here 2x a week, but won't be back unless I hear they've fixed this :(

We won't be coming back. The owner was extremely rude and condescending to our 12 year old son who has autism. He ordered a $1 snowcone that he didn't enjoy because it tasted bitter to him. He had the courage to ask very nicely if he could get a different flavor and the owner lectured him and laughed at him saying there's no way that flavor he ordered was bitter and proceeded to rub salt in the wound by saying "if you order a pizza and you don't like it you can't just return the pizza and get a burger". Excuse me lady, but at any reputable restaurant with good customer service you can send the food back if you don't like it and are offered a different plate or you have the meal comped. That's called CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I have not been here since ownership changed and I won’t be back. The place does not look well taken care of. There were a bunch of kids inside who seemed to be annoyed with everything. The snow cone was chunks of ice with barely any juice. I expected change but it’s disappointing that the new owners have not done a good job.

I loved this place once upon a time never ever had any problems recently ordered a few snowballs.. but my personal order was a Pineapple Express with whip crèam instead they made it with regular cream. they ask me could they just scrape the crème off and add the whip cream. I ask them can they just do it over, I am guessing they took do it over as to add the whip cream on top of the crème.. I don’t know what the difference is but regular crèam on top of a snowball don’t sit right with me . All I wanted was for them to make it completely over.. I dont like to cause a scene so I pulled off and just threw it away on top of that I gave them a tip that I totally regret lesson learned don’t tip until you get your order. One mess up and I am done I won’t be going back. It’s new ppl I don’t know how the snowball taste now since I didn’t get to experience the taste!!

The snowballs here aren't as good as the other places I've visited. The syrup flavor I chose had a weird/old taste to it ... Hopefully, it wasn't expired.

The ice used to be soft and easy to eat, now it’s just clumpy and hard ice cubes. Original review: After coming here for 13 years and traveling the world to find the best snow cone, I’m confident to say the Bedford balls has the best snow cone in the world! I’m convinced the pink lady with rainbow sprinkles and light syrup is the closest thing to perfection one could imagine!

Used to love this place and dream of bringing friends here to try the best snow cones around, but after this place has been sold to new owners, it's been getting worse and worse, first of all, their flavors are more watered down, they got rid of a majority of the flavors, they changed the ice, LITERALLY THE BEST AND MOST UNIQUE PART OF THIS PLACE. It's not the same and has dramatically dropped in quality. The new owners should be ashamed of what they've done to this place. The previous owners would've NEVER let this happen.

Ordered 1 small strawberry jubilee and 1 large strawberry jubilee. Got 1 large strawberry jubilee with barely any juice, and 1 small strawberry jubilee with cream??? I remember when the mom and pop own it. Her strawberry jubilee was out of this world. But new owners now, and quality has gone down. I’m done with them

Drinks are good but the customer service is awful. The girl that works in front told me it was $7 for one small and one medium snow come. Then she took my payment and didn't give me a receipt. Nor did she let me see the screen. I checked my bank account and it charged $9. She basically tipped herself without my consent. Does she do that with every customer?

Staff was nice. My daughter’s cream soda was red instead of clear. Why so much food dye in the syrup? At best my order should have been pink and light blue. It was also red and blue. I’m sensitive to the taste of food dye so we won’t be back unless we hear something changes. So sad because i have been going here since I was a kid. And yes I dyed an Easter egg in my snow cone.

Bedford Snoball has dramatically changed after it was sold to new owners. After promising to stay true to what made it great for more than 30 years, they removed tons of flavors, upped the prices considerably, inconsistent with service (I’m here right now on a Friday at 2:02pm when they’re supposed to be open and no one is here), less syrup in the snow cones, and much more. Why buy this fantastic business just to destroy it?!? I’ve noticed a massive drop off in customers. It used to be long lines, but now just one or two people at a time. Sad. I would be interested in a response.
